I contracted with Blue Haven pools to build an infinity pool overlooking the lake. From design to completion, it was the best experience I have ever had with a major construction project. Our project manager Chris stayed actively involved, showed considerable patience with my many questions and I couldn't't be happier with the final result.

If you own a pool, you know two things: they are expensive and trying to find a pool company that will return you call is difficult. Fortunately, I found Blue Haven Pool/Aqua Shop. Landon is excellent at returning your call in a timely manner and getting the right people to help you with your issue. The crew at Aqua Shop is fantastic. They always take extra time and make sure all of the needs and concerns are addressed. Their services are also very reasonable, and the quality of work is excellent. I have found my go-to pool company for all my future pool needs.

We knew a pool renovation would be necessary so for a couple years we joined a pool site for ideas. We heard multiple horror stories about pool builders so when our pool completely quit, we were not excited about going through the pool build process. However, with BlueHaven, we did NOT experience a horror story. In fact, it was much smoother, quicker, and better than we had anticipated. The communication was delayed starting out due to our sales guy being sick. After initiating a contract, we were given a great construction manger (Matt) to kick us off then our project manager (Dale) took over and he was top notch so smooth sailing from there. He was on top of things and addressed all questions and concerns that came up over time as the pool was being built. We were terrified of the selection process as we don’t always agree on colors/styles, but the selection lady (Michelle) was patient and thorough in showing us all the options along with giving ideas.
Through the process we had no major issues concerning Blue Haven. We had a couple minor hiccups with a contractor, but Dale quickly resolved them. Overall, we are very pleased with the process and our pool is better than we had even envisioned. We highly recommend BlueHaven and should we ever need another pool, BlueHaven will be our first call.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Blue Haven Pools to build our dream pool in Charlotte, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and exceeded our expectations.

The construction crew (Jeff project manager) was on time and kept us informed every step of the way. They were thorough in their work, and the attention to detail was impressive. We were especially happy with how clean and organized the site was throughout the entire build. There were a few weather-related delays, but Blue Haven kept us updated, so there were no surprises.

The final product is simply stunning! Our pool looks even better than we imagined. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the quality of materials used really stands out. We opted for a beautiful pebble finish, and the pool sparkles in the sun. Our friends and family are constantly complimenting the design and features!

I had Blue Haven Pools come to my home to look at a few pool issues, and I was extremely impressed with their customer service. The representative was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything in detail. He didn’t rush through the visit and made sure all of my questions were answered. We had an inground gunite salt water pool and spa constructed by Blue Haven Pools this summer. Our experience started with Clint, the pool designer. We contacted several companies and Clint was the first one to come out to us, he even came on a Saturday so we didn't have to take off work. We have a difficult back yard with two slopes in two different directions and a significant left to right elevation change. He listened to our wish list and the budget we wanted to stay within. He gave us realistic expectations and went to work. He had a design and 3D video to us within a week and developed a beautiful design that was very creative to give us all of the elements we wanted. He listened to our concerns about drainage and incorporated a plan. He did several revisions with us to get us to the price and design we wanted and even spoke with us Easter weekend before we left on vacation so we could swim by summer. My only tip is to make sure every specific detail down to the type of drain you discussed with your designer is spelled out on the contract or you might not get it even if you agreed on it, but Blue Haven made it right! We received quotes from 5 companies and Clint's design was by far the most beautiful and he was very attentive throughout the design process. Our next experience was with Michelle in the showroom. My husband and I tend to only agree on one thing when it comes to design and that is that we have completely different taste! Michelle patiently went through all of the options and color combinations available, sifting through pictures from other sites to give us a visual on our multiple requests. She was very friendly and answered all of our questions thoroughly. She communicated with us several times throughout the process and was always professional and friendly. She even enlisted her son to help us when we needed help watering the concrete while we were on vacation. She was a pleasure to work with. Then came David, our project manager. All we can say about him is he is an absolute rock star! With all the rain and storms this summer, broken down trucks etc, David handled every construction hiccup in stride and kept us informed with solutions. We have done several home improvement projects over the years and he is by far, the best contractor we have ever worked with. We have had a few small things come up since construction was complete and David always takes our call promptly and provides a quick solution, gets someone out, or tells us how to trouble shoot. A project this size is stressful (they warn you but you are not prepared for the dirt, dust and mud!) We can say without a doubt, David made the whole experience better with his calm demeanor and making us feel like we always had access and were informed on what was going on. We never felt like we were in the dark on what was happening. Blue Haven uses several companies to complete the pieces of your project. I have to give a shout out to Feliciano Hardscapes and Landscapes. They did the tile on our retaining wall and around the pool. They did an amazing job and it is truly beautiful. I have also never seen men work like that from dawn to dark in 100 degree heat and not miss a beat. Our final interaction was with Elton. He came out to teach us about the pool pump. He was also great and texted us suggestions for products we asked about. He gave us his contact info and told us to call him anytime we had a question on the workings of any of the equipment. Blue Haven sets you up with Aqua Shop to take care of your chemicals etc for a while after the pool is done. They have been very friendly and done a great job. When we decided to take over ourselves, they came out and taught us everything we needed to know to take over. Overall, our experience has been amazing with Blue Haven. We love our new pool and we are loving our hot spa on these cold nights now that it is getting cold. We would highly recommend Blue Haven if you are considering a Gunite pool. They will take great care of you and you won't be disappointed in the finished product!

We started working with pool designer Allen in summer of 2021. He was great at taking in our thoughts and created exactly what we wanted. He was fast with paperwork and completed everything quickly. This meant our build started ahead of schedule and had us swimming before the next summer!

Along the way we worked with Landon as our project manager. Landon was great at working with us on changes and making decisions along the way. He offered helpful advice and was very responsive when we had questions or concerns.

Like most building projects there were a few hiccups, but they were able to help and fix anything we needed.

Now as we are several years later Landon continues to be helpful when we have issues or questions. It’s great knowing they provide continued customer service long after the build is complete.

Approaching the hottest weekend of the summer… and we are LOVING our Blue Haven pool. It transformed our backyard into an urban oasis that we enjoy year-round. Our dog Scout loves it as much as we do.

Sure, the build process is tough. Your yard's a mess. Inevitably, problems pop up. But in the end, it’s well worth it! Blue Haven stuck to a schedule.  And they've been especially helpful post-build.  As we've learned, lots of questions and issues come up when you are new to pool ownership.

As for the team... Steve was our initial contact and designer.  He's a straight-shooter whose advice we could really trust. Matt was our project mgr, and a year after completion, we still text him any issues, and he quickly responds. We really appreciate his attentiveness.

Blue Haven pools was a great experience. We had a small repair we needed performed...as new pool owners (and after a negative experience with another vendor), we were a bit nervous about having any work done on a step below the waterline. Landon came out and explained what would be done, patiently answered our questions, and convinced us that Blue Haven could deliver. And they did...Chandler showed up on time, performed the work, and everything went as planned with no drama. This is how things like this should go!

David, Nathalie, and the team were great throughout the entire process. We met and went through a couple different options and plans before deciding on the perfect setup for us. Everything was discussed prior to construction and it was very detail oriented as I prefer. From beginning to end David made sure the process went smooth, he always gave us updates and heads up as to what to expect and when.
