Had some work done around the house a year ago. There were some issues left unaddressed after multiple calls, job 75% finished but paid in full. Also, needed a fan installed in our bathroom. They cut a hole to start but repatched it due to it “not being up to code”. Hired someone last month for second opinion who said “they didn’t understand why it wouldn’t be up to code, it just looks like they didn’t want to do it”. My fan is now installed. Thanks a lot.

Frank and crew came out as promised and delivered. They installed a ceiling fan and light on 18 foot ceiling. Also added outlet behind wall mounted TV. Very professional. Support local business....

I was referred to Hoke by contractor in area. I was told by two previous electricians that I needed new fans for two rooms in my home - Shamar arrives on time and was extremely courteous and professional explaining to me what work needed to be done and the cost he was able to get both fans working - by removing a bad receiver. Shamar even went the extra mile for me and changed my light bulbs for me - I will be using Hoke for my next project and will recommend them to everyone I know!

I am giving 5 stars because that's all I can give. Frank came over on the same day that I made the call. He was very engaging, showed me what was going on and did troubleshooting with me. The pricing was very reasonable. He taught me a few things and I was able to get the rest of my project done without having to enlist their help again. The knowledge alone was worth the service call. My Renu experience was great overall. They were highly professional and have been quick to respond to all communication throughout my interactions at all levels. If you are looking for a great solar company for a solar solution, Renu is definitely the one to choose.

Overall our experience was great with RENU. The solution was completely turn key from sales to design to installation. The installation was done in a day and the work they did was excellent. The biggest issue we had was it took 5 weeks to from installation until we were able to power up due to waiting on inspections and then having the meter changed. There was an issue with the battery powering up when we were ready to go but that was due to a software update that needed manual intervention. Once all that was solved, we have been running flawlessly. If you are considering solar power, this is a good company to work with. They delivered everything they promised.

It has been a seamless process getting everything set up. Everyone we have dealt with has been very friendly and helpful. If they did not have an immediate answer, they either got back to us quickly or referred us to someone who could answer our questions. The installation crew was also very friendly and efficient. We have been very pleased.

Excellent and honest folks to work with!

To start off, I had already been considering solar for my home when I started getting a run of door-to-door salesman come to the house touting solar. I spoke with one of them (from a different company, not Renu) and they gave me a quote and all sorts of promises. From there I started doing some more detailed research and glad I did. A lot of what the original salesman had told me wasn't adding up. Then I found Renu and I reached out to them, which turned out to be a great decision!

Nich came right out and helped clear up a LOT of questions/concerns and I was correct that the original company I spoke with had been very misleading on a LOT of things. I ended up with a MUCH nicer system, that would accomplish more of my goals, and at a considerably lower price than the first company I'd spoke with. Nich and his team were great to work with. They were clear in communications and kept me posted through the entire process. On the day of the install, the entire team of installers were great to work with as well.

End result...I have a beautiful system installed that is working well, and one that any electronics geek would love to have to play with all the built-in monitoring and the Span smart electrical panel to configure and change at my discretion. Very happy with both Renu and solar system that was installed!

While most of my experience with Renu was pretty good, the electricians doing the install were not that great. They cut a piece of our trim board that went around our electrical meter. That exposed the house wrap underneath. When confronted, the electrician said “that’s what Tyvek is meant to do - waterproofing “. That was not acceptable, the following day Renu sent another electrician to repair the trim board. They showed up with no materials, nor had time to run to the local Lowe’s. So I supplied them the piece (self cut to length) so they could install. After damaging some hardy board and just screwing board into place, they were finished. I had to finish the job correctly with caulking and of course painting. Their initial caulking job looked like a first grader did it.
Other than that headache, everything else was good.

In 2017 I was exploring the possibility of adding solar panels to our house. I contacted Renu Energy Solutions because of their reputation. They were responsive, quick, friendly, and analytic in their approach. I needed some trees near the house taken down anyway, and they needed to come down if solar panels went up. I also needed a new roof. Renu bundled all three projects together to save me time, coordination, and money. Everything was handled professionally. The panels have not needed any work since. I enjoy the savings on my electric bill that the two sets of panels provide.

We are through the installation and found Renu and the crew to be great! All were very professional, communicated well throughout the day and left with everything cleaned up as well as could be expected! We would highly recommend them if you are looking to install solar.
