Ewing was recommended to us when we found ourselves with an electrical outage the morning of an event at our house. Their customer service is outstanding and they genuinely care about taking care of their customers. We called a large electrical company we had used before who dismissed our problem and offered no solutions or remorse they could not help. Thanks to Ewing even though they had a full schedule they managed to get to our home and solve the problem before our event. They were smart, customer minded and quick to solve the problem explaining what they were doing all along the way. They are our new Electricians.

Very prompt and LJ was very professional. He didn’t try to sell items and work that didn’t need to be done. His honesty has made me a loyal customer. I will definitely used them in the future if needed. Great Job

I don’t think you could go wrong hiring Ewing Electric for whatever you need done. The house I live in had aluminum wiring (common to houses built in the seventies) which had deteriorated over the years, causing continuous current to run from neutral to ground a safety hazard. Aj and his crew had the job done in about 3 weeks, while causing minimal damage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ewing and would definitely hire them again! Thanks Ewing Electric!

I needed some electrical work completed fairly quickly and was worried the issue was worse than I bargained for. As I researched electricians/ companies Ewing Electric Co. kept popping up as a very well-regarded company with consistently high ratings. I submitted a request via their website for someone to come out and assess my situation. Well, they (AJ) called back almost immediately and scheduled me for a time that was convenient for me; I was very busy at work, so I really appreciated their flexibility. The tech came out(Tyquan), diagnosed the issue and explained everything to me. He needed to order a part before completing the project, and once again, they were very flexible scheduling the final job. AJ came out to complete the job, but I worried that once he got in there he would find more issues!! Luckily, there were no more issues m, and he was finished in less than an hour.

Please excuse the long-winded review but I really wanted to share what an excellent experience this was. From start to finishing this company was top-notch. In fact, I received a hand-written thank you note from them. Who does that these days?? I sincerely highly recommend them for any electrical needs you might have.

Ewing Electric Co. responded quickly to my request - I contacted other companies and did not receive a reply for service. The work went well to solve the basic problem. Ewing Electric also provided quotes to do additional work & upgrade some of our wiring that would be more suitable to our current use.

The entire crew was polite, courteous, and cleaned up once the job was done. Definitely recommend and will use for my future electrical needs.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Ewing is hands down the best electrical company in Charlotte (in my experience). We had a few other companies come out and do a whole home electrical inspection and they were subpar at best. Ewing however, actually took the time to thoroughly look around and found several issues with our electrical system. We had issues with the wiring in the attic (home built in 1960 and flipped in 2009 prior to my purchase of it) and we had many original two prong outlets, etc. We had Ewing do a whole home redevice and bring everything up to code replacing all outlets and switches as well as many breakers to GFCI/AFCI for a VERY reasonable and competative price. They discovered issues with the wiring for our clothes washer and dryer, etc. They also discovered that our entire system was actually ungrounded as much of the galvanized water piping had been replaced during a kitchen renovation in 2020. We had them replace and upgrade our service from 100amps to 200 amps, new riser, 2 8ft grounding rods, etc etc, whole home surge protector. Again, for a highly competitive price. Ewing is a smaller company (but not too small) and they truly care, which is often hard to find in contractors (in my experience)...but when it comes to electrical work, you need someone you can trust. I am a skeptical person by nature and these guys earned my trust 1000x over! Jose, AJ & Conor all were excellent and answered every single question and explained things clearly and thoroughly. From the coordination with their office personnel on scheduling and what to expect (we work from home and they were able to keep us powered on for all but one of the three work days), to the call notifying us the inspector was on the way (passed, of course), the process was PERFECT and smooth and we literally could not be more satisfied. Thank you Jose, AJ & Conor! We will be calling Ewing ANYTIME we have any electrical needs moving forward.
