We just moved into a new house and it looked like… so we decided to give the house a fresh look and called this company and they were here within 4 hours. They did a great Job.

Just wrapped up a job with KO where they took out a hug Oak leaning towards my house and 7 cedars that were overgrown and choking each other out. The crew was amazing and great to deal with. They were very friendly and other than standard marks on the ground from trunks falling you can't tell they were there. They are very competitive and definitely worth calling for a price as they beat others that I have called. Also had them grind all of my stumps and they even threw in a couple that I didn't even ask for. The owner, Jason, was great to work with.

My experience with K.O. Tree Services was outstanding from start to finish. They were taking down a tree at my neighbors house and I asked if they could take a look at a couple of my trees in the backyard. The next day a gentleman by the name of Cowboy showed up to take a look. Very knowledgeable with 40 years of experience in the tree business. We negotiated a fair price to take down several high limbs in three of my white oak trees. The next afternoon the crew showed up and went to work. They knew what they were doing. I could not have been more impressed. Extremely professional, polite and respectful. The next morning they finished the job. They took away all of the tree limbs and blew all of the debris away in my backyard and in the street. They put everything back where it had been before they started. The place looked spotless when they left. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future and highly recommend them for your tree service needs.

Horrible service!!! Would never recommend their name to anyone. Stay away from this company at any cost. They kept re-scheduling my service for months that too when I had to contact them for a no-show. They still haven’t helped me to this day. Worst service ever!!!

Jason and Cowboy came out and gave me what I feel was a fair price to take down 4 large, dead trees. The crew came out late the next day and began work, finishing up the following day. They did a very good job, took care of their surroundings and I will use them again.

About a year later from my original post, Jason and crew did some more tree removal for me. Very professional, always do what they say and cleanup afterwards. Get a second or third quote if you want, but in the end, you'll end up with Jason and his crew.

Good service, arrived on time and performed a great job... I love working with a company that allows you to negotiate a good price.

Highly recommend them.

Outstanding customer service by the KO Tree team

I used them a few weeks ago for some trimming and maintainable and they were great

Yesterday a storm damaged a dead 30' pine that was hung up on adjacent tree and was in danger of major damage to our home

They came by around 3:00 on a Saturday to evaluate and quote

They also felt it was dangerous and could come down onto our master bedroom....they came back 30 minutes later and dropped the tree...

Such a relief....they will be back Monday to cut and clean

Ko Tree Services did an outstanding job at my home. They removed 15 trees, trimmed others, and even took care of a tree that had fallen on my roof. They also removed the roots, chipped all the branches, and cleaned everything up beautifully. The team was professional, on time, and worked with great care and efficiency. The price was very fair for all the work they did. I’m beyond happy with the results and highly recommend Ko Tree Services to anyone needing tree trimming, removal, root removal, or chipping. Truly excellent service from start to finish!

The communication and performance from KO Tree & the owner, Jason, has been unacceptable.
They were hired to remove a tree and undergrowth from our yard. The communication between the sales team and the laborers was poor, so when they showed up to perform the work, they didn't understand the full scope of the project. Part of the scope was to dig out and remove invasive grass, but in several areas they just cut it back with a weedwacker. When asked to correct the work to what was agreed upon, they complained and said "it was hard". Their arborist, "Cowboy", was out with the salesman in the initial visit, and sold me on his expertise for cutting back some shrubs. However, the pruning that was done was completely different than what was sold to me, and was a complete hack job. It took several visits for them to get the work correct, and the owner said sometimes the arborist "oversells". This "overselling" is what I was promised and quoted on, so it should be what is delivered. I am now having to pay someone else to completely remove the shrubs that they "hacked".

The second part of the job was coming back to grind the tree stump. We have repeatedly been told we are on the schedule for stump grinding within a couple day window, and then no one shows up, and with zero communication. The services have been repeatedly pushed out. I have called for status updates several times, each time without a definitive answer and promise for a call back. I have not received a single call back from either of these requests. I am extremely disappointed we have waited for KO Tree to make things right, delaying our project 3 weeks. They have been extremely unreliable and unresponsive.

I was thoroughly impressed with KO Tree Services’ prompt and efficient service. They provided a quote the same day and completed the job within the same week. Their pricing was not only reasonable but they also offered flexible options to suit my needs. The payment process was straightforward, and the professionalism of the team was commendable. Very professional! Julio was very experienced in climbing and precise with his cutting down of our huge tree. Cowboy and Jorge provided a smooth process. I would recommend this company and crew!

K.O. services did an excellent job clearing some overgrown trees and shrubs, leaving us a clean pallate for new plant material. Everything that Nathaniel and I talked about was performed perfectly. Job was provisionally done and everything looks clean! I highly recommend them.

I feel completely bamboozled and taken advantage of by K.O. Tree Services. If you take anything away from this review, please take this: do not trust or work with this company!

Beyond the unprofessionalism of showing up unannounced and unscheduled, completely destroying all my crate and myrtle’s and leaving the job with a fire hazard, they also completely misrepresented several expectations for the job.

For example, Cowboy offered to leave a “small” amount of mulch in the back left corner of my driveway (equivalent to a bag or two that you get from Home Depot). He explicitly made clear to his crew where to leave it and how much to leave. Cowboy told me, the tree chipper was “new and made high quality mulch.” Emphasizing it’s the good stuff and people pay a lot of money for this. When I asked what it cost, he answered: it was free and, “it didn’t matter to them whether I keep some or not bc it cost them $500 to haul off regardless.” I agreed to the small amount we discussed.

I was shocked when I came out to find the crew had left without saying anything and they had dropped the ENTIRE truck load of chippings in my driveway. This was not the amount as discussed—this was the width of my house and taller than my trash bins. I can’t even get around to move my trash bins back to their place. Furthermore, I learned the mulch is UNTREATED and attracts termites so you shouldn’t use it as mulch to begin with.
Lastly, and most terrifyingly, the mulch pile will frequently start SMOKING. Until I can afford to haul it off, I have been drenching it with my hose in fear it will catch file.

If what Cowboy said is true, and it cost them $500 to haul off and dump the chippings… then by dumping it all on my property, they were able to pocket the extra $500 even though it was included as part of the $3k I paid.
When requesting that they haul it off, they told me it would cost me an additional $500. I already paid the $500 as part of my initial bill so this would be double dipping.

Based on this, along with a number of other misrepresentations, I believe they saw an opportunity to take advantage of a young single mom. This is unfortunate, especially bc it involves the safety of my home and daughter.

I hope the owner sees this review and decides to do the right thing. If this is the case, I will make sure to update.

They completely ignore the No Soliciting signs to hang advertisements on your door. If they ignore your privacy then I could only imagine what they would ignore when using their service. Look at the stupid reply they had, that confirms the type of company this is. Replying aggressive like this are always the company’s that are a level zero service. Good luck at staying in business

Ignore posted no soliciting signs. These signs are all over the neighborhood, not necessarily on the front porches so the excuse of "not looking around porches" is invalid. Signs are posted at every neighborhood entrance and other areas around. In addition to ignoring these signs, there is the other concern of these "landscaping" companies walking through gardens. They should know better.

K.O Did a wonderful job with our Ornamental Pear/Bradford Pear. This tree is taller than a two story house and just as wide. The price was reasonable and they removed a TON of branches for the price, and even trimmed a few branches from another tree overhanging the front porch.

The group was even nice enough to move my mother's yard decor for her so it wouldn't get damaged. And they even took the branches they cut with them.

Very nice folks and very informative, I highly recommend them!

We recently used KO Tree Services to remove a massive tree that was leaning toward our neighbor’s house, and we were absolutely blown away by their service.
Candice came out to our house quickly (30 minutes) to provide a quote and then scheduled the perfect time for the removal. This morning, they arrived promptly with a full crew and safely removed the entire tree in less than 15 minutes!
The team was professional, efficient, and clearly very experienced. We couldn’t be more impressed and would highly recommend KO Tree Services to anyone needing fast, reliable, and top-quality tree removal.

These guys came in and took out an 85 ft canopy tree Like it was a bag of trash! They were in and out and even cleaned it up as if the tree or their company was never there! Jason the owner was polite courteous and very professional. I would definitely recommend. Them

We had KO take down a very large red oak that was starting to rot and was only a few feet from our house/deck. Because of location and slope of the yard, they had to climb the tree and lower each limb with ropes. They were very professional and did a great job. They were also very safety conscious. I would certainly use them again.

Had to have a fav tree of mine removed in my yard due to increasing liability with it was getting so big that the canopy was touching my house and my neighbors house. Sycamore trees are massive, huge and beautiful at the same time. Root system was destroying our yard and patio. It was an evil necessity to have it removed. RIP. KO Tree can by to give a fair and reasonable quote and 5 weeks later, the job was completed. They carefully limbed it and dropped the base of the tree without messing up my neighbor’s fence. The tree grew so big part of the actual base of the tree trunk was in my neighbors yard. Clean up was perfection too! Recommend KO Tree and make sure your patient for your project to be completed. I wasn’t in a rush to part ways with it.

Really great company to work with. We had three companies quote the work and Marc's was by far the most competitive. They completed the work in a timely manner and did a fantastic job ensuring everything was taken down safely and cleaned up after.
