These guys are the best! Been using them for years & they always do a great and professional job. I called them today because a medium size tree fell and was leaning up against my fence...Alex popped right over an hour later and removed the tree himself! These guys are awesome!!!

I don’t usually write reviews but I want to share my amazing experience with Marc’s Tree Services. This week Marc’s crew removed 14 very mature Leyland Cypress, trimmed pruned, and lifted 8 Little Giants, 3 Tea Lilies and a Chinese Elm. Also, the stumps are being removed next week.

Marc’s knowledge and experience as an arborist and local law guidelines were the reasons I selected his business for the project. Marc’s may not be the cheapest tree service but they are the best for the project I wanted completed.

Working with Marc was a pleasure. The project turned out better than I expected. The trees look awesome and the Little Giants look so beautiful and natural. I now have yard space again and am so pleased. His crew did a fantastic job!

Also, as a side note, one of my chaise lounge chair coverings was ripped. Chris called it to my attention and offered to replace it because they wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with their services and anything damaged was fixed. I appreciate their honesty in acknowledging the damaged covering and not waiting for me to discover it.

I will definitely call Marc’s Tree Services for maintenance when needed.

Alex and the team were all fantastic. Alex provided us a very detailed quote and explained everything so I felt very confident in the work that would be done. Pricing was very fair and transparent. They were able to schedule our tree removal incredibly fast and got the job done thoroughly but quickly. I love that they stand behind their work and don’t take payment until the job is done and you are happy. Can’t recommend these guys enough. I will most certainly be using them again in the future.

2nd to none. Marc's Tree Service is the best we've ever had and we've used a handful over the years. You can always tell when the crew on site loves the work they do and are proud to work for a good company. As long as we have trees, we'll call Marc's Tree service every time.

Marc's Tree Service did a fantastic job of pruning our trees. They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate. They helped me to work within my budget and did exactly what they said they would do and then some! I highly recommend them for your tree services.

Mark’s Tree Service did quite a bit of work in my yard – removal of three large trees, one of which had fallen on my roof in a storm, and pruning of several others. I’m very happy with all of the work they did. The person I worked with, Alex, did a great job assessing what was needed. The crew showed up on time, brought the right equipment, and got the work done fast and neatly. I would not hesitate to recommend Marc’s Tree to anyone needing tree work.

Marc's Tree Service was superb! We got a competitive quote and were told his team was excellent from Marc. We have rather high expectations like many and rarely write a review. Marc's Tree Service exceeded our expectations. Chris, foreman, PHENOMENAL communication, and the team performed like a great dance. Everyone knew exactly where to be, they were professional, courteous, trees dropped with precision and the site cleaned up better than before. We had trees removed by another contractor via our pool contractor and felt that they were not close to the level of Marc's. I wholeheartedly recommend this service and will uses them again if needed. I have already recommended them to others.

We had Marc’s Tree Service come out and take down a couple of trees that were dying in our backyard. Alex was friendly and professional from the moment he arrived to provide an estimate. On the day of the service a team arrived on time and were quick but careful and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been there. Also fairly priced in addition to great service. Definitely would recommend.

Alex took excellent care of us. What we thought was a complicated issue turned out to be straightforward and was taken care of right away and for much less than he could have charged. Super ethical business practice and conduct. Will be using Marc’s for any tree service needs in the future.

A 100 feet tall oak tree fell on Sunday, 9/16/18 from winds and rain from Hurricane Florence. I called Marc and he and his supervisor came and cut the brances off my driveway so I could get the car out. It was still raining and I appreciate such a fast response. He provided an estimate for removing the tree and the work was performed on Thursday, 9/20/18. The crew did a great job of cutting and removing the tree from the fence. Next the root ball/stump is scheduled to be ground up next week. I am very pleased with the response and work performed by this company. They are very experienced and have the personnel and equipment to get the job performed quickly.

I just had two trees removed and two more trees pruned with Marc's Tree Service and they were amazing! I received an initial quote that was fair and competitive. Less than a week later, Marc's crew of 5 guys were on site, on time, and worked very efficiently to remove the prune the trees. They took special care to not damage any plants or the fence near the trees.

It was a very difficult job as the two trees they removed were over my house and my neighbors. Nonetheless, the buildings were not damaged during the removal. Afterwards, the guys did a great job of cleaning up all the leaves and sticks.

I am waiting to get the stumps removed and will update this post once that job is complete.

JULY 2017 - I highly recommend Marc's Tree Service. They are well organized, fully equipped, have the right machinery, and the professionals on his crew are highly experienced. The work involved the complete removal of two large oak trees plus trimming back several trees whose limbs were overhanging our house. The skill they demonstrated removing large limbs adjacent to and over the house was extraordinary and safety was always priority one.

The company is fully insured, the price was very competitive, the crew showed up exactly on time, and they communicate especially well throughout the whole process. When they were finished, the area had been cleaned up and we could hardly tell that they were even there. Without hesitation, we will definitely use them again. VINCENT REA

SEPTEMBER 18, 2018 This is the second opportunity I've had to work with Marc's Tree Service and they once again did not disappoint. Two days ago, Hurricane Florence blew down two large oak trees in my backyard. I immediately called Marc and asked if he could remove the trees as soon as possible realizing the challenge it was going to be to get the work done anytime soon. To my surprise, he called me at mid-day today and he was at my house looking over the task at hand. He quoted me a very fair and reasonable price and his crew started the work shortly thereafter. They removed both trees, chipped and hauled off the debris, and cleaned up the entire area. I can't say enough good things about Marc and his team. Once again, I highly recommend Marc's Tree Service and know that they are proven and consistently the right choice for tree work! VINCENT REA

FEBRUARY 11, 2020 On February 6, 2020, the Charlotte area was hit by six EF-1 tornados, one of which hit the Park Crossing neighborhood. Our house sustained severe damage and we lost all of our remaining trees. One very large pine tree struck the rear of the house, destroyed our terrace structure, punctured the roof, and came to rest on the house. After the winds had died down I called Marc's Tree Service, Shannon picked up, and I told her what had happened. Marc was at my house in less than 2 hours and quoted me a price that was more than fair and reasonable, particularly considering the tree that was resting on the house. He scheduled his crews and they started first thing Saturday morning, removed the tree from our house along with all the other trees that were destroyed, hauled off all debris, and thoroughly cleaned up before nightfall. Marc's Tree Service is an exceptional company and I will continue to strongly recommend them as the very best choice for tree service by far! VINCENT REA

Just used Marc’s crew to remove a huge maple and another big tree that were hanging over our pool. Job was complicated because it was also over artificial turf that couldn’t be damaged. They did an amazing job of removing both trees, cleaning up and not damaging anything!

Marc came out following day when I called for an estimate on removing two trees in the backyard and one out front that may have been hit by lightning. He showed up on time, very professional and very honest on what needed to be done. I normally get a few quotes, but my neighbors who used him before highly recommended him and I ended up not calling any other companies. I know he wasn’t the cheapest around (but you get what you pay for !) and he was not the most expensive from what I’ve heard. I’m glad I did not get any other quotes based on how much my neighbors have liked him and his company over the years . His crew did an amazing job and not only took care of not damaging any surrounding trees/plants but also were careful around my new in-ground pebbletek pool. They also left the place spotless! I could not have asked for a better estimate from an outstanding owner and skillful crew. Stump removal happened very quickly and I was ok knowing I was responsible for the leftover mulch - which he was kind enough to help me with as my now exhusband was not around much to help out with that - Marc went above and beyond. It’s rare to find excellent help and those who seem to have a natural talent to look at your yard and make appropriate suggestions and are nothing short of being honest. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs tree service! A+ in my book and my forever go to tree guy!
