I have been with Dulin Mechanical for over 15 years. Just this week - the technicians and office staff moved mountains to get a new compressor for my HVAC system. I had just had surgery on the 20th, and have asthma. Charlotte and the surrounding regions were projected to be 102 103 with the heat index. Over the course of a week, the compressor finally died and the temperature in my house reached 89, 90 degrees. The folks at Dulin ordered a new compressor from Trane. Lisa made it happen and somehow a new compressor somewhere in Charlotte was in my HVAC by noon on Friday. I want to take the time to write this review because everyone (staff, and technicians) will never know how much their efforts meant to me. The technicians are always helpful and never complain even though they're working in extreme heat and other less desirable situations - I've never heard them complain. Instead they are always professional and kind. I highly recommend the folks at Dulin Mechanical. They are experts and are among the few that won't just take your money and not care. Instead they want to give clients great customer service.

We are very satisfied with our experience with Dulin so far. We have already had our new furnace installed and we waiting for our new patio to be poured before we get our new A/C unit. They offered various options for pricing since we needed both so we could pick the one that best suited us. Everyone has been very friendly and professional. I will definitely be using them for any future needs!

I had this company come out about a month ago to install a new handler system, and AC unit. I wanted to give it some time before writing this review to see how much I would like my new AC system. I LOVE IT.

I live in a 15 year old condo on the second story in a hard to reach part of town. Most AC companies did not want to even come out and look at my unit to replace it because my unit is on the roof of a condo building in the city. It did require a crane to take the old one off the roof and put the new one up there, but they were able to arrange that for me with no head ache on my behalf.

The crew showed up on time, were friendly/respectful, and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed chatting with the crew in passing throughout the day and actually found out that it's close family and friends that have all worked with this company for quite sometime, which I loved.

From the free estimate to the AC install it was painless and informative. Everyone through this company answered all of my questions and I know for a fact they really do know what they are doing. They cleaned up after themselves and worked hard.

Coincidentally, my downstairs neighbor hired a different company who came a full hour before Dulin showed up and they were asking my techs questions on how they were installing my handler system. Plus that other company was still there 3 hours after Dulin left my house.

All in all the humidity levels in my house and moisture levels are basically nonexistent (I run my AC at 68 year round). I am so thrilled with my new AC.

Dulin Mechanical truly is the way to go, especially if you have a condo needing work done. So thrilled and very impressed with how this company truly puts the customer's experience in the forefront.

Dulin has always been able to fit us in, and always honest about their work. Adam was extremely helpful this last time!

I'm so impressed with the two sweet men that came to my home this morning and fixed my air conditioning unit. My two younger brothers and youngest son, all three , had only good things to say about this company and the fact that they are honest. I also put a good note about them on Facebook. Thanks Dulin

First off let me start by saying my technician Jon was not the problem. It's the Management, and the lady who answers the phone who is very rude with her tone and words. I called Dulin on Saturday 6/22/2024 at 3:30 pm and called back at 8:30pm because no one had contacted me within five hours to tell them I didn't want anyone coming to my house at that hour of the night. I called them the very next day on Sunday 6/23/2024 at 8:53 am to schedule someone coming out again, and told the lady that I called the previous day with no one contacting me back. She assured me she would stick that part in the notes. Well the technician Jon came out that Sunday around 1:30pm and was courteous and thorough. Told me that my blower motor was out and to fix it they would charge $750 dollars for parts and labor. I told him I would think about it and he suggested to give a call to the office the next morning to schedule the appointment if I wanted it done. Well other companies were charging more so I decided to go with Dulin. I called the office, and whoever the lady is who answers the phone was very rude. I told her my technician told me to call and schedule a morning appointment because I'm pretty sure of it being on account of my unit being in the attic and it gets hot up there, so the earlier the better for him. Well she proceeds to tell me that's not how that works and she has to look at the schedule all while having an attitude and get back to me. Well low and behold the company didn't get back to me until two days later with a text message stating Jon is ready to come by and put the motor on, are you home? I kindly responded I didn't need it done anymore, Thanks. Well a day later a service bill comes in for $160.88. The bill stated it was for an after hour diagnostic call. I look on the website and it states, its only $120 for a diagnostic call. I call the company and here I am on the phone again with this rude lady. I ask her about the bill, and still with an attitude, tells me to give her the invoice number so she can look it up. I give her the invoice number, and she tells me the same thing as the bill, a after hour diagnostic call. I ask her how is an after hour fee charged if your website states you all are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. She tells me to hold on, places me on hold then comes back and says she can't answer that, Steve is going to have to give me a call. I leave my contact info for Steve whoever he is, because she never said. But a couple minutes later I get a text message not a phone call stating that they are writing off my bill of $160.88, and I would have to call another HVAC company for future issues with my unit, signed Management. I'm annoyed because of me wanting clarity and questioned them about the extra charge, they have the audacity to get mad and tell a potential customer to never call them again. To me that's not how you do business, and this company should either take down the 24hours posting on their website or make it much clearer to customers what they mean by after hour calls. You all have been warned!!

Our AC went out on Monday and Dulin had their service technician Matt to come out and diagnose a failed compressor the very next day. Dulin worked to get an upfront quote and a replacement under warranty and had the part rushed and installed a few days later by Matt and another technician Devin who took the time to ensure that the entire unit was working and cooling correctly and that the new compressor was operating well. Dulin had great response time, professionalism and did a great job for us.

Dulin is local (very important) and responsive and completely honest and trustworthy. We have worked with them since 2013 and I will never go to another HVAC company!!

Chance came out and showed us some options we had on a Friday (during the cold snap we had) . Monday they arrived on time and got right to work. It was freezing outside and yet Tim, Seth and Colby were very professional and pleasant. I would recommend Dublin to anyone!

We have used Dulin for replacing our heat pump, furnace and air conditioner. Their work has always been satisfactory. They have always answered our questions, been prompt for scheduled times and courteous.

Dulin Mechanical always does a good job with our heating and air conditioning systems. They installed our new system about 12 years ago, and it has been dependable. On the few times we have needed service or repair, most recently to our downstairs furnace, they have showed-up on time, were able to fix the problem quickly, and charged a reasonable amount, I would highly recommend Dulin Mechanical for all HVAC needs.

Top notch service and Trane equipment. They just completely replaced my HVAC system and I couldn’t be happier with their work. Chance is awesome. Daniel and his crew are great at what they do! Highly recommend these guys.

EXCELLENT company. Dulin has always under-promised and over-delivered! They said they could TRY to fit us in within a couple days, but came roughly an hour and a half later! Did their work (always in good spirits) and off they went. Our HVAC works swimmingly! Thank you Dulin.

Dulin is the best HVAC service company in the Charlotte area! Their service technicians do a thorough job in their inspections and explain the results of testing and findings in a professional way. They have kept my heating and air conditioning systems in A-1 condition through the years in a cost effective manner.

Chance was fantastic. Honest and straightforward, and their pricing is definitely competitive. Replaced my 25 year old furnace with a new Trane system, looking forward to not having to worry about heating for a while!

I can't express how much we appreciate Dulin Mechanical this week!! We were dealing with the breaker tripping, no heat and they were there for us at every turn until it was FIXED!! They never ignored a call or text. Knowledgeable and empathetic, great people!! Thank you, John, Megan, Colby and tyler!! John checked our unit from outside to the attic ,( twice) Colby also checked our unit! 3 days and they found the problem was a weak breaker. It was a frustrating week but they came through for us and we were priced reasonably!! Highly recommend 👌

We had a major HVAC job completed this week by Dulin Mechanical, and I cannot say enough good things about this company and their team. From start to finish, the entire crew was incredibly respectful, professional, and hardworking. They showed up ready to work and stayed busy the whole time, clearly taking pride in doing the job right.

It’s rare these days to see a team that is not only skilled but also courteous and considerate while working in your home. They were efficient, communicated well, and left everything in great shape when the job was finished.

We are very happy with the work they did for us and the entire experience. I would absolutely recommend Dulin Mechanical to anyone needing HVAC work, and we will definitely use them again in the future!
