There's a reason I'm seeing so many Alpine Roofing signs around downtown Durham - they are really professional and deliver a good product on time with attention to clean-up. I highly recommend them if you are determining if you need to do anything with your roof. They've fixed minor problems on our roof until it finally needed to be replaced. I appreciated the honesty of them not saying it needed to be replaced until it was truly necessary.

From beginning to end a totally professional job. David explained in detail what the project involved. We replaced roof, skylights and gutters. When the materials arrived
they were what I had been told would be used. The crews cleaned up every evening before leaving and were pleasant to have around. David, Christian and Donesha showed up periodically
to double check on the work being done. Neighbors have complemented us on the roof and several are now using Alpine themselves to replace their roofs. I have never had a better experience with a roofing company.

Alpine Roofing recently replaced the roof on almost my entire house and 2 old skylights. Alpine was recommended to me by another professional who has worked closely with Christian. Christian is very professional and did as complete a proposal as was possible prior to starting the job. Due to additional rot more sections of the existing roof had to be replaced. Both Christian and Donesha, the project manager, were very careful in explaining what had to be done and making sure that I understood. The work crew who did the actual roofing work was very good. They worked hard every day and made sure that each section that had to be replaced was finished by the end of each day. They literally worked from sun rise to sun down. My son-in-law met with Christian this week to discuss their roof and Christian was very helpful and honest in what he recommended. I definitely recommend Alpine for any roofing job - large or small. While we did not do any business with Alpine, we felt it necessary to write this review. We called to schedule a quote and were told someone would call us back.

When we received that call, we were told that other roofers would be a better option. "We aren't the cheapest, but we really want to work with homeowners who plan on staying in their home long term. We have great service and really don't think we would be a great fit for you"

Without seeing our house or even meeting face to face, we were told to go somewhere else. While this level of service is the furthest thing from "great service", I'd hate to see how they treated actual paying customers

Alpine roofing came highly recommended to us and we decided to use them for both our new construction and addressing inspection items on another property. Our experiences in both settings have been fantastic. Christian was a pleasure to talk with on the phone and was able to expedite the consultation, estimate and services to address some of our roof concerns. Price was reasonable for the peace of mind we gained for the work. We will definitely use them again in the future.

My roof and I are both very happy with Alpine Roofing. As a social scientist, I was intrigued with how this company organizes itself to ensure the highest quality work and interaction with customers. I called David on the phone, my first contact with Alpine. David quickly sent Christian to follow up at my home to provide the estimate for the job. Both steps were carried out in a very timely way and I scheduled the work much more quickly than I expected. Donesha took responsibility for the work next, meeting with me to look at the site and to coordinate preparation with me so the workers would have designated areas for access, materials, the disposal trailer, etc. It was very easy to communicate with her and the workers followed the plan she and I worked out. Once the work began, teams took on specific tasks. Scheduling of the specialized teams was impeccable and very efficient, thanks to Nathan's work behind the scenes. I talked with Francisco, one of three foremen with Alpine, who described how much he appreciated the chance to take responsibility for the quality of the teams under his supervision. I think that the way the company is organized allows each worker to know exactly what his/her job is and each person has the opportunity to take pride in what they have contributed to the overall job. The sense of pride and accountability is the secret to the high quality of the whole job. My neighbors noticed how clean the job site was, how little the job intruded on neighbors and how very efficiently everything was run. One neighbor, an architect, plans to recommend Alpine to clients and friends on the basis of his observations and my very positive recommendation. As I told Christian when I paid for the work, I have never had more fun working with an organization, and I credit the unusually sophisticated structure and functioning of Alpine Roofing.

I hired Alpine Roofing for a large and complicated roofing project involving shingles, TPO, custom metalwork, and lots of historical details. I had this quoted by all the major roofing companies in the area and Alpine was the only company willing to take time to discuss the details and make me feel comfortable they could handle the job. When problems came up during the job, they discussed the options with me to make sure that I was getting what I wanted. Every single employee I interacted with was detail-oriented and genuinely focused on giving me the best roof possible. They may not be the cheapest roofer in the Triangle, but the quality of their work is seriously top notch and a fantastic value. Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with my entire experience with Alpine Roofing, easily the best contractor I've ever hired to work on my house.

The day of the the roof replacement, his colleague Donesha T did a great job keeping me informed and checking in. The crew working on the roof were also great. We had Alpine put a new roof on our house just over a year ago. I wanted to wait a while before posting a review to see how it held up. The work was well done and finished quickly, the crew was professional and knowledgeable, and the roof has held up great, no leaking or other problems. They were able to plan and install a solution for a rather tricky section of the roof that clearly had had problems in the past due to an admittedly baffling design element of the house. They also did a great job of cleaning up the property after the work was finished. We got estimates from five different roofing outfits, and it was a close call between Alpine and one other outfit. I’m really glad we went with Alpine, especially for that one tough section where their experience and capabilities really came through in a great solution. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. Given the quality of their work, I know I won’t be in a position to need to for many many years to come.

Several years back David and his crew came in and installed new roofs on a project I did on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill with my company Link Design + Build, Inc. Alpine installed 3 different type of roofing systems. They installed metal porch roof, a shingle roof, and two sections of TPO roofing. To start one of the shingle valleys was weaved in the wrong direction causing the first leak. Next a section of TPO roofing that was on a porch roof that abutted a brick wall was caulked instead of being properly flashed and counter flashed. This area also leaked. In addition, flashing installed around the chimney was incorrectly installed and leaked. 3 different sections of roofing details were incorrectly performed. All of these can be confirmed by both the home owner and the new roofer brought on to correct the situation.

Wow! We feel fortunate that our builder suggested Alpine Roofing to replace our roof after it was damaged in a hailstorm. They could do the asphalt shingles, the copper sections, and replace the gutters and gutter guards. If we had not found them, we would have had to use 3 different firms.

The quality of the work was excellent and the Marco, who does the copper sections, is a superb craftsman. The whole crew was polite, cleaned up every evening and was careful not to damage any landscaping.

Alpine Roofing is a machine. Prompt, insane attention to detail, trustworthy team, competitive pricing. Its hard to express the difference in professionalism we saw with David and his team vs. some other experiences we've had. They are great partners. Alpine removed a metal roof and replaced it with a new one for us. They installed gutters and downspouts along with uniquely designed boxes/scuppers for our flat roof (thank you!). Alpine will be competitive on price and the best quality — If you're considering any work done on your roof, you should save yourself the time and hire them. Don't go for the absolute cheapest bid with this. You'll end up paying more in mistakes and lower quality work I guarantee it.

I would highly recommend Cole Roofing. We recently had part of a tree hit our roof and we thought it had punctured 3 holes in the roof. When we called Cole Roofing and they heard we had holes in the roof and it was going to start raining that afternoon, Greg Cole immediately came out, and then sent his work crew to fix the holes. While at the house, his crew looked over the entire roof, cleared some additional limbs off the roof and discovered 2 additional holes that went through to the attic. So we were able to get all 5 holes patched before it rained. Cole Roofing was prompt, efficient, accommodating and very reasonable. They were a great company to work with.

Last year Cole Roofing and Construction installed my new roof. They did such a great job, I did not hesitate to call them to replace my 25 year old deck. I certainly made the right choice. The deck looks beautiful and flows perfectly into my back yard. The crew was professional, considerate and a pleasure to have around. I will call in them next time!

I used Cole Roofing to replace the roof at my house and to also do some repairs around my chimney. The entire experience was very positive and I highly recommend! I especially appreciated how responsive they were throughout the entire process. I received an estimate for the work within a few days of contacting them. The estimate for the work was well below the estimates from 2 other companies I contacted. Greg was also very accessible via phone or email to discuss any specific questions I had, and I felt like I was always receiving honest feedback. Greg and his team installed my new roof in one day and it turned out perfect. The team was very professional and clean-up after the job was excellent. I would not hesitate to use Cole Roofing again!

Couldn’t recommend Cole Roofing more! Greg was extremely responsive, ensured I had all my questions answered, honest about what was necessary, and made me feel very confident in my decision. The roofing team did a beautiful job installing a new roof (and overlaying sheathing) on our 105 year old house that had some very challenging peaks. Initially, we were impressed by how responsive and knowledgeable Greg Cole and his team were and scheduled the roof to be replaced. Then, after we noticed a leak in our roof they were able to move us up and got the roof replaced within 48 hours. The work was well done and the workers were professional and courteous.

I recently chose Cole Roofing and Construction Company to make repairs on my home. There was storm damage to the roof and gutters, some window shutter damage and water damage to one ceiling inside the house. I thought getting this work inspected and scheduled was going to be a daunting task.

I was impressed with Cole’s ability to show up and discuss the various parts of the jobs, and give me the information I needed. Their initial inspection was done with a high tech surveillance drone. Different crews of workers were strategically scheduled so that there was never any crowding or congestion. I was told how to get the work site ready in advance. I gave input about the shingle and gutter colors, and about the refinishing of the water damaged ceiling inside. There was a lot of work done but it was staged so that the job came together perfectly.

I am very satisfied with the outcome. Cole Roofing and Construction was easy to reach throughout the project. Communication was clear, and they masterfully juggled all of the aspects to make my experience a good one.

As I read through the reviews, I can heartily echo all of the positives of working with Cole Roofing & Construction. Our detached garage suffered significant roof and other damage from a large fallen tree - Cole Roofing and Construction repaired and restored it to like new condition. We were happy with all aspects of the process; communication was excellent from the get-go, everything happened in the time frames that were provided, the quality of the work was excellent, the tradesmen were professional and respectful, Greg responded very expediently to every question, he and his staff were very helpful with the insurance claims process, and more.
