Jack and Pete were amazingly kind and willing to help us out when things went downhill with our first general contractor. They came on when the project was partway through and kind of a mess, and Pete was always calmly there to quickly answer any questions or help resolve any problems that came up. Definitely folks who are trustworthy, knowledgable, and care about their work and the community!

Gateway Building Company (Jack Moore owner) along with his staff of estimators, superintendents, etc. have work with me and my companies for 15 years. His talent, experience, and trusting work ethics have been put to good use with many of our projects.
We consider Jack Moore and Gateway Building Company our primary source for building our projects, such as office buildings, warehouse, and flex space.

They are currently working on a major commercial renovation project for my company & I remain incredibly impressed with their integrity, responsiveness, job quality, and helpful attitude. Gateway remodeled Book Harvest's 15000 square foot office space, adding 10 walled offices, 6 bathroom remodels, and connecting doorways, as well as moving and reusing a 20 ft glass wall. They were an absolute delight to work with through every stage of the process, finished the job before deadline and underbudget, and were folks that I and other staff genuinely looked forward to seeing every day. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.

We had the joy of working with Gateway Building Company on the construction of Revel Durham. As first-time storefront owners, the construction process was brand new to us and Gateway was the perfect partner to help us navigate it. Their entire team- we interacted most with Pete, Tal, Stevi, and Tommy- is exceptionally professional; they were consistently communicative both during scheduled meetings and whenever anything came up that required immediate attention. When it came to budget and finances, they felt like a partner throughout the entire project; they were consistently focused on delivering what we wanted within our budget. Gateway Building Company completed an addition for our business Wavemax laundromat in Durham and our experience was absolutely stellar. Construction projects can be very stressful but they handled every aspect from inspection to final cleanup with ease. Jimmy was the on-site foreman and was competent and knowledgable and made the process run smoothly. The project was completed quickly and within budget. Highly recommend!
