We were disappointed in our experience with S & R. It took seven months to move our washer and dryer from one room to another, and that was after having to constantly check in and ask them to continue the project. In the end, they left us with a dryer that was not appropriately wired to plug in to the new outlet. We had to call an outside electrician to finish the job. We have three kids and were without a dryer for 10 days while we asked them to respond. Very disappointed.

Had a overall great service of labor. At a cost effective price! Everything was done such at ease w/ ideal suggestions, budgets, turnover etc. Would recommend to anybody who’s looking for great work ethics 🔨

Raul and his crew are an anomaly in the construction world. Working within this industry in my job, Raul just gets it. He is courteous, fairly priced, and gets the meaning behind a timeline. I will recommend him over and over again as he not only gets the scope of each job he does, he never over promises and under delivers!

First time using their services and I must say if there is work to be done S&R are the people to call. I had my roof replaced and they did a great job. Good service, kind, and understanding to my specific needs. Best of all they gave me a fair price for the work I needed done. I would definitely hire them again. S&R general contracting did a fine job on our flooring project which involved removing tile and carpet, adjusting subflooring, and installing new red oak hardwood flooring. Raul is very responsive, professional and courteous dedicated to customer satisfaction. We are pleased with the beautiful result. We are already working with them again on our next project!

I needed to replace my entire roof and build a new fence so I wanted to make sure it was done right the first time because I have had bad experiences with other companies in the past. The guy who helped me, Raul , was simply a great remodeling contractor! He really knew his stuff as he helped me out with a bathroom and bedroom remodeling. They did the demolition, helped me pick out tile and other supplies and then installed everything in the correct way. They leave the space clean everyday I will recommend them to all my friends

Raul, Mariana, and team are absolutely fabulous! We feel so lucky they were willing to work with us. Each team member went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. They even worked hard for us in a downpour. We were also delighted by how quickly the whole process moved. The end result looked so good; they really listened to the things we wanted - even though we really didn't know what we wanted. Furthermore, they were willing to work with our budget, which was a huge blessing. We will definitely be reaching out to them for all of our future projects.

We are so happy we went with S&R General Contracting for our home remodel. We have a historic home, and we knew the remodel was going to have lots of unique challenges and unexpected surprises and problems. Raul and his team took everything in their stride. From unexpected dry rot in supporting beams, rotted floor joists, “historic’ electrical and more, S&R made sure our home was first and foremost safe and structurally sound. But they also took care with every detail, from a custom herringbone floor design to custom trimmed doors and baseboards to match the historic character of the house. We were impressed with their professionalism and attentiveness, and Raul was always patient and available to talk with us about options or if we had questions.

Finding someone you can trust, especially for extensive home renovations, can be really daunting. But S&R really came through, and we enjoyed our working relationship with everyone on Raul’s team. I will use them for future projects and would recommend them to anyone in the Durham/ Triangle area.
