After a successful year of being a customer, the last 10 days have revealed significant flaws in JD Service Now's communication.
Firstly, I found out that we lost our membership because they changed their package structure. We were never notified. Yes, we checked our SPAM folder.
Secondly, I found out about our membership status when I called to get a quote for a system installation. I was told someone would call me back to schedule a time to meet with a technician for said quote. Never received a return call.
Lastly, because I believe the best in people until they show me otherwise, I called after a week and scheduled an appointment for this afternoon at 3pm. I took 3 unpaid hours off from work to make sure I was on time. A little after 3pm, I received a phone call that the technician was "wrapping up" a previous appointment and that I would get a call when they were on their way. 90 minutes later, I called because I hadn't heard anything and I had other plans. They asked if I wanted to re-schedule.

At this point, I no longer have confidence in their business. The technicians are excellent. That is why they get 2 stars. From the top, however, they've demonstrated they don't value or respect my time. Consistent lacking or miscommunication.

It is better to under-promise and over-deliver. Sadly, this is a case of over-promise and never deliver.

I would have paid the 300% increase in service fees had the communication been present. Now, I get the arduous task of looking for a new service provider.

I recently signed up for regular HVAC maintenance with JDServiceNow and they just came out for their first inspection. Both gentlemen who came to do the work were knowledgeable and professional. They communicated in detail regarding the issues they identified and fixed them for a reasonable price. Very happy with the work done and with their concern for the customer. Highly recommend!

Eli and Percy came to my home to determine why my heater stopped working. They were courteous and thorough. Eli presented us with images of the parts of the heating system and explained what each does and the condition each was in.
It was a great experience. The heat was fixed and we were more knowledgeable about how our system works and what it needs to continue working well.

Very informative and knowledgeable. I know that’s a very cookie cutter description for a service rendered. But that was my experience, and ultimately I was very happy with that. My questions were answered, my concerns remedied and the problem fixed. Thank you for the neat and efficient work! I will be setting up my next appointment soon.

William is a life saver! My well water was not working. After calling maybe 10 plumbers, JD Service was the only company available to come last minute. William is very knowledgeable about well systems and quickly found the issue and just as quickly solved the problem. He explains everything thoroughly. Highly recommend

Don Newman was great. He was knowledgeable. He took his time and looked at everything. He had a great attitude. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand. I’m very grateful for meeting Don Newman today I would recommend JD services to my family and friends

I contacted JD Service Now to explore options for a new water heater and a water filtration system. Sadek did an incredible job of setting out the alternatives and the relative pros and cons in a specific way applied to my house and needs. Impressed not only by how effectively Sadek provided the information I need to make good choices, but also by the fact that he not only meets with customers to help them make decisions, but also knows how to install and maintain the systems.

Josh is the best. Very respectful and made sure he explained to me what water pressure should be and if I need him to come back out he will. I'm pleased with JD Rider services. Highly recommend!

Also want to add Jacques the rep for JD was so so calm with me when I was overwhelmed with getting the payments correct through the credit company. I want to acknowledge him as well.

John Whitlow provided us with excellent professional and friendly service. We had a leak under our kitchen sink and added an outdoor spigot. John was thorough and timely. Definitely recommend.

Richard was awesome. Very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He installed my kitchen sink, faucet , re piped kitchen plumbing and installed water shut off valves. Very happy with the work done. Will definitely recommend and use this company again. They are competitively priced and not out to price gouge you. This is my new company for all my plumbing needs. Please keep up the good work.

Michael was amazing. I am filling this out for my Fiancé. I’ve been doing residential plumbing for more than 20 years. Michael and I chatted for a while and talked about everything he was doing. He was very informative and extremely through. It was nice to meet a fellow trade professional with less experience than myself even though a different trade and to see these younger guys with so much knowledge. If we need any HVAC work done we are calling JD Services and asking for Michael. Five stars for sure

Technicians are always professional, helpful, and efficient. I appreciate their thorough communication and how quickly they're able to come out and deal with any issues. I've used JD Service Now for small things like plumbing repairs and the big things like a full HVAC replacement and I've been happy with them for all of it.

Super responsive! Always friendly, pleasant & knowledgeable. Love that there's always someone standing by when we need them! My family gets their yearly service plan and the peace of mind it gives is more than worth it! Highly recommend.

Casey and one other worker (sorry did not get his name) came to do a HVAC install at our residence. They were patient, kind and understanding of our situation. They explained everything thoroughly. They worked hard non-stop from start to finish and were determined to finish the job before the holidays. We appreciated their efforts and the fact that we were scheduled even earlier considering our install was originally scheduled for December 23 (a holiday week). Great workers!

Brian was punctual, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what needed to be done efficiently with great attention to detail. Everything was left clean and tidy, he really went above and beyond. It’s rare to find someone this reliable and trustworthy. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future electrical work and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service!

Connor P. was our technician and he was awesome. He was very thorough and provided a great explanation of what was wrong with the HVAC and what repairs were needed. We’d had several other companies come out to diagnose the issues, and none of them told us about the bad wiring done by the original installer, or bothered to check into the actual reasons the machine wasn’t working. It turns out the gas pressure was set too high (another mistake by the original installer) for the normal operation of the machine, but it was blamed on old filters by the prior companies we had look at it. Thank you, Connor for taking the time to properly diagnose and resolve the issue.

We were very pleased with the service provided today by JD Service. Andrew came out to fix our water pressure. He installed a PRV and replaced our expansion tank. He went out of his way to get the part we needed quickly. He was also very professional. We will definitely call again for future plumbing needs. Would recommend.

Scheduling the appointment with Comfort Advisor was easy. Kevin did a great job of explaining features of different HVAC systems and listened well. Dante and Roberto arrived early for the installation and explained how the thermostat worked. The carbon monoxide detectors are a good safety feature. I would definitely recommend this company. Six days after installation we received a thank you card from the company with an insulated lunch bag with cookies inside. Nice touch. Warranty registration was filed by the company and confirmation was received within two weeks.

William was wonderful!! He was very thorough, and explained everything. He spent a long time fixing our issue and even ran to the store to get the tool he needed. He not only repaired, but improved our kitchen sink plumbing. Very happy with everything!!
