I called Go Local (Sergey) on a Sunday morning at 8am to report that my heating system was not working. He was at my house by 9am the same day. He did an amazing job fixing my problem. I highly recommend him.

I can't begin to express how amazing and professional Sergey is. Our heater went out Wednesday night. My husband found Golocal on Google and I reached out close to 10pm. He replied right away and was able to come check it out the next morning. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and transparent. He understood we had a baby at home, so he came back after finishing his other jobs for the day and took care of it. Will definitely always choose this company for any future services.

Jonathan was excellent! Very honest, gave me plenty of options, and fixed our most imperative issues quickly and efficiently. I felt so comfortable with his opinions and expertise that I made a list of more things I would like added to our home improvements. And after calling three other companies and not getting a call back for two days, Dawson’s responded in minutes and their representative was extremely friendly, thorough, and organized. Highly recommend!

We used Dawson’s for an electrical project in the past and decided to use them for our HVAC maintenance as well. Our technician Keith was fantastic! He addressed all concerns and questions we had with our heating/cooling, provided free estimates for future work we might want done, and was very professional. Definitely the best company around for HVAC and electrical needs!

We had three quotes from three different companies. Charlie was the only one that took notes and photos of everything we wanted done. He also gave us great suggestions on how to get our home up to code. His work was impeccable. He cleaned as he went. We had hardly any patching to do from the recessed lighting. We are so happy with the results that we are now considering getting the upstairs done. All around, great customer service.

After consulting the reviews for Dawson Electric & Air, I saw nothing but very positive input, and was impressed with the name of TIM as it came up consistently. I called & requested TIM, who came promptly arrived at the designated time, with his shoes covered, an upbeat attitude and a ready smile. He was thorough in his work which consisted of setting up our electrical controls to Alexa via Echo, and correcting some electrical errors that had been made when our home was corrected, and explained all aspects of his work. Needless to say, my husband & I were extremely impressed! Interestingly, my adult daughter visited while he was here, and was also as impressed as we were & decided to set up an appointment to do some electric work at a home they were purchasing.
I have since had him again to remove a fluorescent light & install 3 recessed can lights in our master closet which he did today. He asked if we’d be interested in having those closet lights turn on & off automatically when entering & exiting, which we were. He completed the work after first covering our clothes to prevent leaving any debris on them. He vacuumed the workspace, leaving everything spotless.
I will have him come again soon to install some ed lights in our large pantry.
Before he left today we thanked him for his knowledge, efficiency and thoughtfulness & that we will always request just him, to which he quickly responded that, “ALL of Dawson’s technicians are equally qualified both technically & personally!” Again, am so impressed with this young man and Dawson’s Electic. He was proud to tell us of a great number of charitable community-outreach projects that Mr Dawson & his electrical busines does for Durham, Raleigh and surrounding areas. Go TIM, and GO DAWSONS ELECTRIC & AIR! 🎈👍

Landon truly went above and beyond on this visit. This wasn't a typical call and he was able to figure out exactly what we needed to get us ready for this storm. Speedy, professional, knowledgable and extremely kind (even helped me bring my groceries in) and down to earth. Thanks so much Landon!

Nick did an excellent job installing our EV charger as well as updating several outlets in our home. He was friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend him and working with Dawson’s Electric.

From my initial phone call, speaking with Dawn about scheduling work to be completed, to Tim completing all the installation and update to the system, to Autumn scheduling permit inspection, Absolutely Awesome! I truly cannot say enough about the fantastic service received. Tim also set a very high bar for all future service techs coming into our home. In the one week since he completed our work we have had three service people from other companies in our home and the work was completed. But once they left my husband and I both agreed, good work but "Not to Tim's standards". Thank You Dawson's

Great experience with Dawson's! Scheduling electrical work to get an EV charger installed at my home was quick and easy, with several convenient appointment times. Charlie was friendly and knowledgable and was able to do the work on the same day. He showed me several options and price-points and didn't pressure me at all, in addition to making sure I was aware of the refund available with my power company and telling me how to take advantage of it. Recommended!

We have had nothing but problems with our Lennox unit - we have called so many different companies over the past 5-8 years and Connor with Dawson’s was the first to thoroughly explain what was happening, give us multiple options, and didn’t try to upsale us on anything. He was on time, courteous, and did a wonderful job - got us up and running in about an hour. I can’t say enough good things about this company or our technician.

The whole Dawson team was outstanding. Tim was prompt and listened when providing our quote. George, Preston and Jeff did a fantastic job with the upgrade and installation of a new electrical box and lighting in our detached carport. Amanda was always attentive to our questions and considerate when scheduling multiple appointments due to delays in our fixture deliveries. Curtis is very friendly, courteous, and professional. After taking about an hour to thoroughly diagnose the problem, he worked up several solutions and walked me through them in detail. We scheduled his return to implement the solution. I will leave another review at that time. Based on my experience today, I would recommend him and Dawson Electric and Air.

Jonathan was great! Very professional and courteous. He was patient explaining things and was extremely knowledgeable. He did a great job fixing my light switch and provided me with a lot of information on what else I need to do with the electrical work in my house.

Very impressed with every aspect of the service provided. They answered my call promptly, were able to schedule an
HVAC maintenance appointment for the next day, and let me know by text and email when the technician was on his way. The technician (Landon) arrived on time, was polite and friendly, and thorough in his assessment of the condition of our two systems. He shared photos of the systems with us, explained a problem with one of the burners, and was able to resolve the issue by removing and cleaning the burner rather than suggesting a replacement as others might have done. We've had HVAC service from at least a dozen companies over the years in Durham and elsewhere, and this was by far our best experience.

Dawson Electric is GREAT! Despite situation not being an emergency they came out same day. Technician was knowledgeable, thorough and clearly communicated the issue. Problem was corrected quickly without delay! Wonderful experience, I highly recommend Dawson Electric and specifically Jonathon!

Curtis gives 5 Star service every time. He was here about a year ago to install under cabinet lighting in my kitchen & did a fabulous job. I requested him for today’s protect of installing 2 ceiling light fixtures & a dimmer switch. Again he did not disappoint. He is very accommodating, knowledgeable, patient & kind. I will always ask Dawson’s for him for any projects that I may have! He is GOLD!

Our service technician was Nick and he did great work. He explained everything in great detail and was extremely helpful with our generator inlet install. Nothing but positivity and I have no problem with referring Dawson’s to my family and friends!
