Plumbing reviews in Garner, North Carolina

Contacted these guys for bathroom shower leak, kitchen sink leakage checkup, etc. To start with these guys arrived many hours late. rude attitude. Bathroom shower had small leak, it was still usable, they broke and removed the entire shower making it unusable.
Kitchen sink, they were asked to check if any pipes and sockets needed to be tightened, they pulled few things here and there and after they left pipes below the sink started leaking badly.
I assume these guys have shower and other stuff in their van, or atleast they have to have it so it can be quickly fixed. Instead they told they will have to order parts and wait for parts delivery before it can be installed. now weeks have passed and no sign, both kitchen sink and bathroom are not usable.
Worst experience. -
If I could give 10 stars I would! I received a text to say a skilled technician was on the way. What a delight to have a company show up when they say they will be there! Michael was conscious about my floors and wore shoe covers. Every precaution was taken to follow the standards of preventing COVID transmission including wearing a face covering the entire time. He diagnosed and installed a new garbage disposal in less than 45 minutes. He cleaned up and took my old disposal to recycle. An added bonus is he very personable and professional! If you have any plumbing issues, I highly recommend this company. 👍🏻👍🏻⭐️💯

I wanted to pass along a service compliment to your entire organization from placing the call to the end job. Everyone I came in contact with either by phone or in person showed what being a professional employee in a professional service company is all about. Pedro was our main service technician on this call and I couldn't have been more pleased with his work in the replacement of the water heater.
I will certainly recommend your company in my network. -
We had a hot water leak and Bryan did an outstanding job with replacing our old heater with a new one. Very detailed and thorough and took time out to explain all the details with our new heater.
Thank You Bryan for outstanding service. You are a proven professional! -
Robert came promptly to investigate the issue with my water heater. He determined that it needed to be replaced as it was now leaking. Once the new water heater was shipped the company scheduled Robert to come out an replace the water heater. Robert was prompt and did a very good job in removing my old water heater and installing the new water heater. I was very pleased with his work and he was very courteous.

We had a gas leak in our home and had been without hot water for about 10 days so far and Proven Professional Construction Services, LLC came out to air test the fuel lines and repair on two separate days. JAMES was the technician and he did fantastic work. He articulated the entire process and really put forth an effort to help get our pipes fixed in record time. He was very professional,on time and very knowledgeable about everything.
Thank you James, you rock!!!!!

The rep that I spoke with at the office was friendly and professional. However, the contractor Edgar was dishonest and not helpful. I explained and showed the repair issues that I had. Edgar confirmed that he understood and would provide the report to American Home Shield for repair. Edgar did repair the issue in my bathroom, with the sink and toilet. However, Edgar was dishonest in the report he provided American Home Shield in regards to my kitchen sink and faucet. As a result, of his lack of integrity my repairs are not complete. I am out the $80 service fee that I paid to American Home Shield and my repair is still not resolved. I highly recommend any one that has a Home Warranty plan to steer clear of this company and especially, Edgar.

We hired Proven Professionals through our home warranty company to replace water heater expansion tank and a shower cartridge. I found them overpriced and incompetent.
While the technician was very easy to communicate with (and this is the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars as opposed to 1), he couldn't get the old shower cartridge out. I asked him if he used a cartridge puller (a special device specifically made to replace shower cartridges) and he didn't seem to have it. He recommended that we replace the entire shower value by opening the wall from the other side. I didn't fully trust this diagnosis, and started researching. During my research, I found that the amount they charged me for the expansion tank replacement, $300, was unreasonably high. I also found that having to open the wall just to replace a shower cartridge is rare. At this point, I really didn't trust them at all. I then went to Home Depot, got a puller and cartridge myself, and fixed the shower myself, with no prior plumbing experience. I'm glad I didn't have them come back to my house to any more work.
I called them and gave this feedback in person. I wasn't thrilled with the manager whose initial response was something like "OK, if you replaced the shower cartridge yourself, we really don't need to come back to your house." She seemed to completely overlook the fact that I took my valuable time to call them and provide important feedback, and also that there may be something they could improve in their business. I had to be more assertive then to get a non-defensive response from her. -
As an American Home Shield (AHS) customer, I was connected with Proven for a toilet that wouldn't flush and a leak in the drain line in the crawl space on May 26. They missed their first 4-hour window and we had to reschedule. They came out to replace the toilet but then realized they weren't ready to replace the broken drain line, even though I confirmed the day before that both items would be repaired. A third visit by Doc confirmed that hazard mitigation needed to occur first, and they promptly sent someone out the next day which we appreciated. The crawl dried out the next 4 days and then two days after it was removed, we were told that AHS would NOT pay for the drain to be repaired because Proven deemed the broken drain was caused by ‘hazardous materials’ which is real head scratcher considering it’s a drain line. Proven said they would get us all squared away for $5,100 if we just paid out of pocket. I pushed back and said this should be covered under the warranty and requested that the warranty manager at Proven call me. I was then assured by Proven that since the hazard had been cleaned up now, they would just need to resubmit the request to AHS and that it would be covered. I waited two days before attempting to contact Proven again and then contacted them over the course of 4 business days with no reply. Meanwhile I have moved my family of four and our dog out of the house since we can’t use the kitchen or the bathroom. Turns out AHS denied the claim a second time, the day Proven said they would resubmit, and Proven never bothered to let us know. I only found out 7 days later from our warranty company! I contacted a local plumber and less than 24 hours later they provided me a quote of $3,100 to fix the issue and could get us scheduled in 3-5 business days. Proven still hasn’t returned any of my calls. Very unprofessional. Beware if you are connected to them through your warranty company. I absolutely would NOT recommend working with Proven.

From the assessment to the plumbers to the mitigation team, ALL were prompt, professional and proficient. The mitigation team was very thorough as were the plumbers. They were all respectful and took the time to answer my questions (which were a lot) without acting bothered. As a disabled senior citizen and a volunteer housing specialist, it was refreshing to see the level of care they took and consideration they gave while yet focusing on doing their job. It seemed important to them that I was satisfied. I would have no problem, at this time, recommending them to partnering organizations and families that I engage with.
Overall, after we got past the initial hurdles, I feel comfortable enough with my first-time experience with Proven that if any thing were to go amiss, they would be "on it."
Even the office personnel (thanks Dynasty) came to terms with the barrage of questions and requests from me.
Also, I was pleased to see the diversity of staffing Proven has and the comraderie and TEAMwork that made this horrible issue feel a little easier to bear.

My home warranty company sent Proven Professional Construction Services to address a plumbing problem. When the contractor, Robert, arrived he was friendly and professional. The work was taken care of quickly, and I haven't had any problems since. I definitely recommend this company!

Arrived during the 4-hour window as promised. Chris was friendly, professional, and very honest about what was wrong with my water heater. Sara, the office personnel that assisted me with scheduling and payment, was also friendly and professional. My previous experience with Proven for my leaking faucet was a great experience as well (Robert was the technician for that job). I would definitely allow Proven back into my home.

The only reason I am providing a single star is because I have to provide one in order to leave a review. I scheduled an appointment for today THREE days ago. They advised the appointment would be between 8a-12p. The technician, Chris, did not arrive until 12:30pm and that was only AFTER I called inquiring on his whereabouts. He then told me to LIE and say there were elderly people in the home and that I have a disabled person in the home to expedite my service because he could see the heater had busted. Though there is in fact a disabled person in my home him instructing me to exaggerate the situation was unprofessional. He further instructed me to call my warranty company and ask for a payout because "money talks" and they would write me a check and I could purchase my own heater and pay HIM to come and do the work for me. I expressed my frustration and called the office on numerous occasions with no answer. Once I finally spoke with someone they advised I would have to wait until my warranty company authorized them to bring out the new heater. I advised the employee that I'd spoken to my company already and they were approving but I desperately needed someone to come out because I'd waited all day with no call or mention of the delay and missed an entire day or work between the wait and the back and forth calls. I also asked if she could schedule me for an appointment for tomorrow morning seeing as Chris already guaranteed there were heaters of my kind available. She placed me on hold and when she returned said that I needed to call my warranty company per their conversation. When I spoke to my company, all of a sudden the heater that Chris suggested busted because of normal wear was submitted with a diagnostic of excessive pressure. We have NEVER touched our water pressure and have lived in our home for several years. I truly believe that they gave a bad diagnostic because i was so frustrated with their piss poor service and or Chris tampered with it because we wouldn't agree to his back alley side gig requests! For the record he never touched my water and my water is on city line so my pressure is regulated by the city of Raleigh. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We have had Proven Professional Construction Services come out on two different occasions. First was a water heater instillation in the coldest part of the winter. We had another company back out which lead to another several days without hot water. As soon as the water heater was delivered Proven Professional scheduled us and worked late into the evening to ensure we had hot water.
Today we had a problem with a garbage disposal and our tech Robert was extremely friendly, timely, knowledgeable and efficient.
Highly recommend this company! -
Proven Professionals were chosen by American Home Shield to come take care of our leaky toilet with a faulty supply valve - so our toilet kept running and we couldn't even turn the water off while we were away on vacation. Michael called early in the day to schedule the appointment and he made sure to get the exact details of the problem, which he then provided to the plumber who came. He also detailed how their plumbers all respect social distancing guidelines and do the work the entire time while wearing a mask. We even got a heads-up text when our plumber was about 10 minutes away from arriving. Our plumber was Brandon, who was quick, courteous, thorough and professional. Our experience with Proven Professionals from start to finish was excellent. Highly recommended!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. If there was an option to give less than one star I would do so. This company was assigned by our warranty company, AHS ( avoid this company as well), for replacement of our hot water heater. After making the initial service request it took the maintenance technician nearly two days to come our house and diagnose the issue. After the initial diagnosis, it took another two days to receive an estimate for out of pocket cost. Once we accepted the charges (on a Thursday), we were informed that the replacement would not be able to be completed until the following Tuesday. The hot water heater was replaced and less than 24 hours after installation quit working. A service technician come out again and notified us that the gas control unit on the water heater was bad and would need replaced. Once again, we were told that it would be another two days before the service could be completed. And just today the company notified me that they do not have the necessary parts and it would be another five days before they can make the repairs. So here I sit nearly two weeks without hot water in my house. If you are reading this review do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE PROVEN PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES!!!!!!

I had a leaking toilet and my warranty selected Proven Professionals and I'm so glad they did. They were quick to schedule an appointment and Pedro went above and beyond to get my toilet fixed. He wore shoe covers to enter my home without me having to ask. He fixed my toilet and right away noticed the pressure was high inside my home so he went to check the water pressure and confirmed that it was wayyyy above normal. He waited patiently till I got ahold of my warranty to get authorization to replace my PRV valve. He fixed everything and I appreciate the service I've received. Will definitely recommend this place 👌

Fast, professional and timely service. Reasonable pricing, with great customer service and polite staff and awesome service- starting with Adriana at the front office, Robert who came to assess the leak (Day 1) , Lincoln provided the quote, Day 2 - unit ordered and Brandon installed the hot water heater ( impressive how quickly he did it) and tidied up before they left. Brandon also gave tips to maintain the heater. Highly recommend! PPCS- shoutout to a great crew, amazing training in customer service. Thank you for diagnosing the issue and replacing the hot water heater.

Sorry for delayed review. I had a Water Heater leaks. I called the insurance company but after a while they approved the coverage. Once approved Mr. Robert the plumber manager took the extra step and ordered a new unit right away I greatly appreciate him. Next day a very nice and professional crew Brandon and Pedro came and installed the unit in a very tiny room with a Gas line on their way. I greatly appreciate them as well. Finally I was able to get a hot shower. I do recommend this company.

Brandon the initial technician was very good. However, this company does not answer their phones and consistently left me on hold for 30-60 minutes before a human answered or they just disconnected me after 30 minutes. They do not respond to emails either. I was referred to them by American Home Shield as this is one of their vendors. However, this company treats warranty customers like scum. In addition, I was told by them that they are not adequately staffed to even answer their phones. Their customer service, once you reach them, is less than satisfactory. I am so disappointed in my experience with this company and they haven't even installed the new water heater yet.......... Update on 6/28/21- Michael from this company called me to discuss my concerns. He offered to install the new water heater on Sunday (instead of the following Friday as they had told me). He installed the new water heater yesterday and has followed up several times including coming back today to make an adjustment on the vent. Michael had apologized several times for the way I was treated and told me the company aims to provide quality service. I am very satisfied with my hot water heater installation. I believe this company may have been having a challenging week last week and that they will continue to improve their customer service. Thank you Michael and Brandon!!!!!
