One of Best experiences I ever had using a company for the FIRST time! Had pool leak which resulted with me having to put water in almost everyday! Found American Leak Detection from a friend and my problems was solved in a matter of days! Heather in the office set me up with an appointment in one day with BJ who turned out to be just what I needed to fix my problem and above and beyond. He found leak quickly patched and kept hunting for more leaks via sound and dye which turned up no more. Then returned to clear patch and said he had swatches in truck to put over first patch to make stronger and would not ever notice it! I said yes and he was right-------ABOVE AND BEYOND! Did a very thorough job of of looking for a possible methane leak from the septic system at my 86 year old mothers house. Luckily they found none, the foul odor was coming from a floor drain in the basement that had been put in over 60 years ago in case a water pipe or the hot water heater burst. Could no have asked for more friendly, courteous or professional service!

Brandon was great. He explained the problem, showed me where it was and explained the options to fix it. Setting the appointment with Heather was easy.. Both are very good communicators.

The guy was nice, but at the end of the day, he was unable to track where my waterline connects to the water main, so I still do not have water. So $700 was spent without a viable result.

Professional, honest, trustworthy business. First Class in all respects. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone. Would definitely call on these guys again if needed. Had a leak in the main water line running from the house to the meter. American Leak detection found and marked the leak within an hour. Although getting to the leak was rather difficult, Whit and his guys stayed the course until job was complete. They did everything they said they would do. The tech was right on time, worked fast and found our problem. He did a great job. My only concern is that about a month ago when you did a job for me at another location the bill was $750.00 and this month it was $799.00. If you keep going up on the price then someone else will come into this market and give you a great amount of competition or I will have to look elsewhere for this service.

Tech, B.J. Nougier was very helpful in explaining how he was checking for leaks. Where he inspected both inside/outside of the house. Professional service where he was able to determine the leak and fix the issue. Glad this service was recommended to me.

BJ was excellent and taught me stuff I didn’t know about my house, the most important one being where the main water main was to shut off all of the water coming in. He found the bathroom in the basement was constant leaking and we shut it off until I am able to get a plumber. The very next morning I heard water running in the refrigerator and when I opened the door, the water sprayed all over the kitchen due to the refrigerator filter breaking. I was able to run and turn off the water thanks to BJ. Heather in the office staff was a pleasure to talk to the day the city water recommended I call a detection leak company. All in all it was a pleasure working with them. It didn’t take long to analysis my problem, maybe 30 minutes and hopefully my city bill will go down after this month with the refrigerator incident also.

We had them out for a smoke test for a smell in our basement- they had to come twice bc the smoke machine wasn’t working the first time. They found a hole in our main sewer line within 45 minutes and quickly packed up and left. They were not willing to tape over the hole while the smoke machine was still hooked up to see if that was the only leak despite being within the quoted time frame (2 hours). Their quote to fix the pipe (not drywall repair) was four times higher than the plumber we hired, although I later learned that if we had used them to fix the pipe they would have done another smoke test to confirm no leaks.

They absolutely found a leak and eventually the smell went away. However, I was frustrated and disappointed that with such a premium cost for a speciality service, they weren’t willing to test for a second leak while everything was still hooked up or discount a follow up service after having it fixed.
