What a great customer service and response company. I had a A/C problem needing overtime help and they responded within the hour with a fix shortly thereafter. It's so neat to have an HVAC company that lives up to their word. These guys are always on time, friendly, professional, and affordable. They have fixed things and never had to fix them again. That is reliable service. They also installed new equipment for me and it was far less costly than the competition.

The best experience and what a life saver. Literally, my landlord is a 86 year old lady who has the flu. The heat went out yesterday 1/14/18. I originally called Morris Jenkins, they tried to rip us off by saying we needed a brand new system to the tune of $6k+/-. Dominic came out himself (owner) and the only thing we needed was a new blower motor = $300.00 max.

Woah, $125 for an evaluation!? We had a water spot on one of our ceilings and thought it might be a duct insulation issue . The technician was here about 30 minutes taking a look and talking to us. He told us it was a roof issue, and that we should call a roof specialist. I know it takes time and money to come out but $125 seems really extreme when nothing was actually done to remedy the situation. I was absolutely shocked when he told me the amount. I was honestly expecting about $50-$70, since that is what I typically see. We did call a roof specialist who is on his way over right now, for a free evaluation.

I will say the technician was very kind and did seem knowledgeable. I can not speak to quality of work because no actual work was done. I would have a very hard time calling again if I suspected an issue because given that just an evaluation was $125, I can't imagine how much it would be to actually fix something. I feel like those prices would really deter someone from ever calling in the first place.

Had a contract with one of the big firms in Charlotte (appearing frequently in commercials). DAC fixed my system when others said it needs replacement and when I replaced all systems years later they delivered a top notch system at a much lower price what the „big one“ proposed. Good company, honest and they know what they do.

Dac Services installed a Carrier AC and Furnace in my house. To say I am Satisfied is an understatement. The entire experience from start to finish was great. I'm disappointed with my experience with DAC. We recently purchased and moved into a home where DAC had installed a new HVAC system 2 years prior. We've been having some issues balancing the heating in certain rooms so we decided to give DAC an opportunity to win our business servicing the equipment moving forward.

We were told a technician would arrive somewhere around "12:30 or 1." When we hadn't heard from anyone by 1:30pm, I called the office and was told we were on the schedule and the tech was on his way. The tech finally arrived at 3:40pm. He went in the attic and closed one damper and showed me where the other dampers were. As far as I know there was no additional inspection of my system other than turning it on. He was in my home for 20 minutes and left at 4pm. (I have his arrival and departure on my front door camera.)

2 days later, I received an invoice from DAC for over $162. The invoice showed the minimum charge was $115 for the first 45 minutes, but the tech added an additional half hour labor charge on top of that. When I called to inquire about this, I was told the tech had added "travel time." They agreed to drop the additional 30 minute charge and only charged me the minimum.

Unfortunately, the damage is done. Due to the poor communication about the arrival time I feel like I can't trust these guys to arrive when they say they will. I was told later they don't guarantee times for afternoon appointments. Add to that the high minimum charge and questionable explanation about the additional charge for "travel time", it's pretty unlikely I'll be calling DAC again.

Like many when learning the ropes of new home ownership, I trusted the big names in the area only to be disappointed time and time again, always feeling cheated. Finally had enough and started digging until I found Domenic and DAC Services. Since then I've had repairs, an installation, and regular maintenance done and am ALWAYS impressed with the work they do, the time they spend explaining what;s happening and the promptness with which they arrive--no matter the situation or the time of day/week. These guys are the best. Next time you have an HVAC need or issue, do give DAC Services a call and give them an opportunity to impress--no doubt they will.

DAC Services Heating and Air Conditioning is top-notch! My wife is currently 39 weeks pregnant and could go into labor any day. When our HVAC stopped pumping out hot air, we got a local technician to come out diagnose what was wrong with our system. This other technician replaced our blower. After replacing our blower, the system continued not to produce hot air. When we called the local technician back out, he informed us we were going to need an entirely new system. Yikes! What horrible timing with a baby on the way. Upon learning this, I began calling several local companies out to get quotes for pricing of a new system. When we called DAC, after they learned about how we were without heat and could have a baby any day, the owner came to our home that afternoon. Before launching into quoting a new system, Dom, the owner, took the time to assess our existing unit, to see if it could be repaired rather than replaced. He was able to identify that the new blower we got was faulty, blowing the wrong direction, which had the potential to ruin our existing unit from the pressure. Dom spent 2 hours with us that afternoon between diagnosing and attempting to fix the faulty blower. While the blower was unable to be repaired, DAC came out first thing the next morning with a new one. We now not only have heat, but also didn’t have to come out of pocket for a whole new system. DAC really cared about us as people, our situation, and saved us money rather than take the path that would have made them more money. They proved they are an honest, trustworthy family business. I know who I will be calling when my unit finally does go bad!

I have used DAC Services for the second time and I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and honesty. Last summer our AC developed a leak and competitors were quoting $4-5k for an immediate replacement and would not offer a recharge. DAC evaluated the issue and suggested recharging the system was sufficient to finish the NC summer and provided us time to save for system replacement.
Additionally, a faulty control board in our furnace was detected on their second service call to our home. Their prices for parts and labor are very fair and honest. They did not try to overcharge me like other local HVAC companies for the same service.

Our 21 year old HVAC system began leaking. A neighbor recommended DAC, a service technician came out and tried to repair the unit but the leaking continued. We obtained 3 different quotes to replace the system and had several questions concerning functionality, refrigerant requirements, warranty and reliability that the owner answered himself by calling me.

The installation took nearly a full day. Three technicians were on site. They answered additional questions we had during the installation process. The technicians were very polite and did an exceptional job. They cleaned up afterwards and the system is working well.

The entire team, including the office staff, couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful.
