Our 70’s split-level looked tired and outdated. Hadn’t been painted in 20 years. We had our windows done; now the rest needed a lift. We contacted several of the painting franchise’s & didn’t get the feeling they were going to provide personal, accountable service. We heard about CLH Painting. Clay Harvey met with us and gave a thorough review of our house’s painting needs, next steps/process and options for porches, doors, railings, etc. Clay was able to tell us exactly who would be painting & completing any needed carpentry; no subcontractors. It was clear that our new windows would be well protected & any spills dealt with promptly. Mr. Harvey stated he would be onsite several times during the project. We were very pleased with the price, processes, and the people…Shout out to Manuel, Carlos & his team, and Tony. As promised, Clay was onsite & reviewed all the work to our satisfaction. We have multiple ways to get in touch & encouraged to do so if needed. Our tired house is now a shiny Emerald; a bold green beauty among ‘Plain James’.

Clay had the best pricing out of the eight or so quotes I got, and his crew did a fantastic job removing our popcorn ceilings. They look so much better! Clay communicated well throughout the process and was calm and accommodating when we had a miscommunication about our move-in date.

Fast and awesome work! I can't say enough great things about Clay and his team! I first had my driveway power-washed and was so impressed I had Clay come and quote me for painting. Not only was the price reasonable but he fit me in the following week. I left my garage code and Clays team painted while I was at work. I came home to a clean and beautifully painted bonus room! I also expressed how unhappy I was about a door I had Lowes home improvement install that was done improperly. Clay sent his carpenter out to fix it! He went above and beyond when he didn't have to! Rare find these days. Highly recommend!

He was able to schedule us within a week and did a fantastic job on our house. The house, deck, and brick walkway all look like new. Clay of CLH was one of several people who came to my house to quote exterior painting. After meeting with a few of the others my 91 year old friend and adviser said "I believe you should go with the first guy (Clay), I like the way he talks and he seems to know his business". My friend was right, Clay was very friendly, professional and responsive, he came to check on the progress and kept me up to date. They did a wonderful job on some very old (26 years) siding, it looks amazing. His crew for my house was Carlos and Hector, the results clearly show that they are very good at their jobs, plus they were always friendly and courteous. Everything was cleaned up completely after the job was finished, not a single piece of paper or tape left. I will recommend CLH to anyone I know who needs painting done. Thanks guys!

I would HIGHLY recommend CLH for power/pressure washing. I recently had my driveway power washed for the first time in 8 years, and it looks brand new! Clay was responsive and came out quickly to give me a quote, and even offered me a cash discount. He was able to get the job done 2 days later. He scrubbed away a large area of green algae that had formed in a dark spot at the end of our driveway, and made the stone on our front porch look even better than the day we bought our home! If you’re looking for someone to give your driveway (or any part of your home’s exterior) a good cleaning, Clay is your guy!

We recently had a wonderful experience with CLH Painting and Power Washing - not only do we recommend them for power washing and staining, but we are looking forward to scheduling them for more painting projects at our home! We have quite a large area of aging deck surfaces surrounding our home, as well as a new 8-foot privacy fence in the backyard - all of which needed to be washed and stained. We appreciated Clay's insight and recommendations when we were deciding what treatments would benefit each area. I love the painting that CLH did on the exterior of my house. Clay was always responsive, came out quickly to give me a quote, and worked around my schedule for powerwashing and painting. The crew was fast and did great work and was respectful of our property (always moving equipment like ladders if needed and not leaving a mess around the house). CLH Painting did a great job repairing some siding and painting the exterior of our home. Clay was very professional, flexible and easy to work with throughout the entire process. CLH owner, Clay, was extremely easy to work with and his team did excellent work on exterior painting of our two homes. Clay was quick to respond to our request, carefully discussed the projects with us, and followed up promptly. And the pricing was very reasonable! He made a good suggestion for a clear-coat on the tongue and groove ceiling on our back porch. It came out beautifully! The team leader, Carlos, always showed up on time, had the team do a quick and neat job, and always cleaned up perfectly. CLH provides the highest quality of workmanship at a very fair price. Clay's team has been doing exterior and interior painting projects for me for over 14 years. They just finished painting the exterior of my house, garage and shed and it looks fabulous. His painting crew, led by Carlos, are the best and I consider them all not just painters but good friends. Clay Harvey and CLH Painting did not follow accepted industry practice when painting my home, which resulted in major damage to my siding, costly repairs and repainting, more than a year of hassle, and lawsuits. Not only did Clay Harvey refuse to take responsibility for his easily proven negligence, he hired Miller Law Group to sue me for leaving negative reviews online. Despite clear product labels, specification sheets, and industry standards, CLH painted my home in temperatures below 20 degrees F with products that require temperatures above 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 48 hours after application. The damage caused by this negligence began to manifest within just six months. I had agreed with Clay Harvey that my home may require maintenance due to the age of the siding. However, the paint began to blister and bubble in large sheets. Not small flakes that needed maintenance, but huge sections of paint that literally fell off the house if disturbed by hand. Please see the images I have shared on Google Maps for context. When I asked Clay Harvey to fix the problems, he wasted months of my time with a representative from Sherwin Williams. The Sherwin Williams employee took a single, non-representative paint sample and suggested this exonerated Clay Harvey since it had peeled to bare wood. Again, please check my review on Google Maps for images that easily refute this argument. The paint peeled to the bare wood, to a primer coat, and to various layers of old paint. It peeled from the brick and concrete foundation as well and continued to all sides of the house. I gave Clay Harvey every opportunity to fix the issues. He refused responsibility and eventually informed me, in writing, that he “never from the beginning said I had a guarantee.” After more than a year of hassling, I left him negative reviews and sued in Small Claims to recover a portion of the cost associated with fixing my home. He responded by disparaging me online, suggesting I was being dishonest, and then suing me for posting bad reviews. In summary, my siding is ruined, the house has to be completely repainted, Clay Harvey claims he doesn’t guarantee his work, and I was sued for sharing these details online.
