Pipetechs just completed a large project for us today and WOW we cannot recommend them enough! We had a sewage over flow in our basement which lead us to finding 30ft of piping needing replacement. Ripping up the foundation from the back of the house all the way to the street is a very scary project but Pipetechs did quality work at a fair price and a great attitude. It certainly wasn’t an easy job but they were great at communicating what was happening step by step and we will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

True Professionals. Angelo and Wade came to the rescue for me and my family on New Years Day! I had black water coming up from the sink and dishwasher. It was all over the floor. At midnight these two gentlemen came to my aid on a holiday and unplugged a massive grease blockage 50 feet into my drain pipe. They were calm, respectful, knowledgeable and happy to help in the middle of the night. If you have a true plumbing emergency, call these guys. They fixed the problem, cleaned up and gave me peace of mind. Thanks again guys! Water goes down super smooth.

We no longer live in the Raleigh area and rely on quality service providers to handle repairs on the house we rent out in Raleigh. In November 2016 our tenant reported that the sewer was backing up. We had Pipetechs come out to camera the line. They charged us $725 but never provided any images or written report. We assumed they did perform the camera service and had the results in their files, and we planned to have them do a repair to the line at a later date (the technician suggested we'd get about 4 years before the roots would cause a blockage again anyway).

In June 2017, our tenant reported issues with his hot water. At that point, we were still on good terms with Pipetechs (we just hadn't scheduled the sewer repair yet and didn't know we should be concerned with having no record of the camera results) so we had them come out to repair the water heater. $537 and three visits later, they called and said they'd done everything they could think to do but couldn't fix it. Our tenant was at the end of his patience so we called someone else, but Pipetechs never refunded us for their unsuccessful repair.

In January 2018, our tenant reported the sewer was backing up AGAIN. Since Pipetechs supposedly had our camera results, we (reluctantly) called them again. We asked that they provide an updated estimate for the repair (which we assumed would be based on the camera findings we had paid for a year before) because paying hundreds of dollars every 13 months to jet it out was not acceptable. Instead, they jetted the line again. My husband called and asked why we didn't get a repair estimate since it didn't make sense to pay for jetting it again when it was going to be dug up anyway, and requested the original camera results. We eventually got an estimate that was to dig out and replace the ENTIRE LINE from the street to the house, taking out a mature tree, etc. etc., which had nothing to do with where the roots were actually penetrating our sewer line (right next to the city line according to the technician who had jetted the line before). We asked for the actual footage from the camera work and were told in February they'd either get it for us or redo the camera, but they never did either. My husband has continued to work with them to resolve the issue, but they don't return his calls or emails and instead today we received a "past due" bill for almost $500.

I figured it was time to share this information because I see other reviews on here from more recently that describe people having similar problems with Pipetechs. Maybe if I'd written my review when we first realized we weren't getting what we paid for I could have saved others from the hassle of trying to work with this company.

Edit: Only 8 months after the line was cleaned out, the sewer drain is backing up again. The response to this review was offering to provide some credit, but we tried many times to work with them before posting this review - if they actually wanted to provide some credit, they should have contacted us directly - they sure did that when they wanted our money. We've paid them over $1700 and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Recently I had a water leak between the meter and house identified by the "surprise" large water bill. Company "A" couldn't come for 5 days but Pipetechs came out the next day as promised, Angelo and Wade diagnosed the leak location, and we worked through the best route to run a new line. They contacted the utility marking guys and began the job they day after utilities and cable locations were marked. On day 1 completed the installation and avoided touching the wife's fav plants. Day 2 they patched concrete driveway, refilled the trench, and put out new grass seed. Meanwhile, I watched another company take over a week to complete the same task for my neighbor.
The technicians kept me informed, worked efficiently, and did even more than promised. I am extremely happy with the finished project and the attention the Pipetechs team gave me. It was a turnkey job. They are at the top of my list if I need service in the future. Thank you

We had the best experience with this company. Greg showed up promply on the same day we called. He was professional, efficient, friendly. If you are in need of a plumber, I'd call Pipetechs and ask to have Greg be assigned. You'll be glad you did.

Wade arrived at my home on time and got straight to work. He made sure he kept me informed of what he was doing and what the repair would include. It is clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and loves what he does. I was so stressed out about the leak, he made me feel better constantly reminding me “it could be worse”. He went above and beyond with Angelo to ensure that we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this dynamic duo for all your pluming/leak needs.

I want to thank Dalen and his partner for providing excellent service and fixing my pipes. They were very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Pipetechs Plumbing Technologies. He even gave us free chemicals(grease breakers) and he gave us advice about what to prevent from getting into to the pipes and how often to use the chemicals. I 10/10 recommend.

Aaron was in charge of our job. He replaced our main water and sewage lines and rerouted them. It was a big job and it was done quickly and efficiently. Aaron was helpful in clearly explaining the work he would do and provided excellent follow-up. I had an excellent experience working with Pipetechs and would highly recommend them.

I received great customer service from Rachid and Steve. They both worked over 2 hours to figure out my issue. Required inside and outside plumbing work. They were great and very informative. I called and within an hour they were able to come to my home, which was great since I was unable to use water or plumbing inside the house. Pipetechs was great!

Bashir was my Technician and no kinder or more knowledgeable young man is out there in any trade! His plumbing knowledge & respect for an older lady who did not understand was above and beyond. Bashir worked hard in the heat - but still took the time to make certain all was well for me. Could not be more grateful!! Please thank this great young plumber for me. Fantastic and completely fixed the issue. What incredible service!!

I want to thank Angelo and Wade for coming after hours to help with the plumbing issue. They came prepared and effectively communicated with us so that we were not left wondering about the progress.
I knew that Pipetechs has always been very thorough in the work they do. Both Wade and Angelo worked together well and anticipated our needs so that if the issue occurs again, how best to proceed. Thank you.

This is my second experience with pipetechs the first experience was a good one as well. This time I had the pleasure of having both Angelo and Wade’s capable expertise on site at my home for a 200 foot water main line replacement. Very large job requiring digging of a trench and unearthing of a section of my driveway. They replaced with a quality PEX piping and even added the insulation to protect it for years to come from temp fluctuations. They filled me in on the the progress and any details I needed to know about when the water would be off, when I could drive on the drive again etc. and overall seemed to enjoy what they did which was the best part. The cleanup and revamping of my yard was a good send off as well. They will remain my go to guys for pipe issues into the future. Thanks again !

Highly recommend. I am so glad the other plumbing companies I called either didn't answer or couldn't come out for a week. Pipetechs was easy and professional in setting up my appointment, same day service. Wade the tech communicated the problem and final cost was same as estimate. Reasonable for replacing well pump and related components. Will call them again if ever needing help.

I found water that kept appearing on my bathroom floor and thought it might be a slab leak. Bashir checked the meter and determined that the water was actually coming from a toilet that had been badly installed last year by another company. He gave me a price for the repair. After removing the toilet, Bashir showed me the condition of the sealing ring underneath and explained the options for repair. We agreed upon a final price. My husband then mentioned that the sink faucet in his bathroom was leaking and asked if Bashir would have time to fix that as well. He had to go out to pick up the parts for the second job but returned quickly. Three hours later, everything was done and my house was clean. I wrote a check for the total amount. Bashir showed me there was also some moisture next to my bathrub and explained that it was probably over flow from the toilet but that it could, possibly, be a leak in the water pipe. (A pipe leak would require breaking through the wall.) He recommended that I run a fan in the bathroom for a few days to dry up the water (and even helped me select one online) and see if that took care of all the moisture.
Update: Five days later the bathroom floor is still wet even after running two floor fans and the ceiling ventilation fan. When I tried filling the tub halfway on Friday night, water came seeping out from the bottom of the tub. I called PipeTechs. Chris came on Monday afternoon and determined that the seal around the bathtub drain was almost nonexistent. He fixed that and told me to try the fans for another three days before attempting to use the tub again. If the floor was still wet, I should give it a few more days. He explained that this kind of leak required a process of elimination to avoid too much damage to the house. Chris was very pleasant and seems to know his job. He only charged me for labor costs. I'm not sure why Bashir didn't suggest checking the drain as well, which is why I removed a star.
    Here's hoping!
2nd update: Twelve days after my initial visit from PipeTechs, my floors are still leaking! I've been running three fans 24/7 and its still not drying the floor. We called another plumber who recommended we hire a leak detection service that would use noninvasive technology to pinpoint the leak before breaking into any walls or floors. Since PipeTechs lists Water Leak Detection Services as one of the things they do, I don't understand why neither Bashir nor Chris tried that first.
    Final Update:
Nearly two months later, I realize that Pipe Techs specializes in ripping off customers.
We figured out that our bathtub was leaking (the part that Chris fixed was only the tip of the iceberg) so we had the whole thing replaced by Midtown Plumbing. Several days later, the floor started showing water again. I called our current plumber, who asked if I had been using the toilet. I had, so he took it out and showed me that Bashir has done a very poor job (the irony is that Bashir made a point of telling me how badly the original toilet had been installed!) and that the materials used were unlikely to hold a seal. He is now replacing the ring with a steel one instead of the cheap plastic piece for which I was charged $600 by Pipe Techs. He will pull up the rest of the tiles on the bathroom floor as they are too saturated to dry otherwise. Since we are also waiting for another company to repair the drywall removed during the tub installation and the leak detection, the toilet will need to be left out for a week so the floor tile can be replaced properly. This would have been unnecessary if Bashir had done his job properly in the first place. My husband and I are beyond furious at this point. I will tell everyone I know that Pipetechs hires polite young men who lack either training or motivation. I have to leave at least one star to post this review so I did, but I would leave NO stars for PipeTechs!

I want to highly recommend Pipetechs plumbing! Today in the middle of my shower the tub started not draining then the toilet was clogged even though no one had used it. Called Blantons they were no help even though we have a contract with them.
Pipetechs promptly arrived when they said they would and turns out our cleaners had apparently broken a piece off a cleaning brush and it had lodged about 19” down the main line.
These guys worked about 2 hours and finally after removing the toilet got it unplugged. Was about $656 but we felt that was reasonable for the amount of time they had in the job. Plus they came out in this snow.

My service technician was a nice enough person but charged me $650 for a $200 job. These guys are crooks. I woud never hire them again. They not only overcharged me but the initial installation was done incorrectly. I would never recommend.
