Ashley came to our house after a lightning strike and was absolutely awesome. He installed a surge protector in our main fuse panel to protect it in the future, he replaced 2 GFIs, a flood light and diagnosed a downed ethernet line as well as a dishwasher. He was on time, personable and very helpful, I have nothing but the highest praise for him and his company.

I had the fortunate experience of speaking with and working with Andy. I recently purchased an electric vehicle and it's a lot of new information in regards of how to charge your car in your home. There are heavy warning signs that come up in the vehicle if you are not careful so I wanted to contact a company to receive a professional opinion. Andy took his time to call me back and answer all of my questions. I'll be purchasing a home soon and will definitely look forward to utilizing their services again. Based off this experience I would highly recommend Volt Doctors, the customer service is excellent. Thank you!

Luke H is the best electrician I have seen. It took him just seconds to figure out what the problem was and was able to fix my outdoor receptacles . In addition to being knowledgeable, Luke was a joy to have around. He is definitely a professional I would recommend . Please tell him thank you for me.. Volt is lucky to have him and so are his customers.

Eric S. Was our technician and he was perfect in every way. He was prepfessional and courteous and the work that he completed for us (new outlets and new electricity for ceiling fans) was top notch. Don’t hesitate to contact Volt Doctors, especially Eric, if you need any electrical work done.

John was able to get to use earlier than our anticipated "time window," which was great. He was very professional, was able to complete the job for less than we had expected and he went out of his way to get us a permit from the city on that day which helped out a lot. He was very personable and is a great representative for this company. We would use their services again.

UPDATE - The owner saw my review and was very genuine about helping with the repairs and making things right. Really appreciate their customer service.

OLD - We hired Volt Doctors to install 13 can lights around our house. In order to help them know where they’d go, I marked with painters tape where I wanted them. Unfortunately what they didn’t tell me, after cutting 6 inch squares in every rooms ceiling, was that if I had placed them in different locations (due to the ceiling joists), that they wouldn’t have had to cut square holes for the junction boxes.

Worst thing - the electricians left huge messes with wire pieces all over the floor and didn’t patch or fix the ceiling where they cut the holes. Even after patching and painting, I can still see where each hole is, and my ceilings will never look the same again.

John Parella was extremely helpful in diagnosing and fixing an electrical issue in our condo. He was extremely thorough and made sure we had exactly what we needed. I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done. Volt Doctors are a great company to work with and at a reasonable price.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner of Volt Doctor and he went above and beyond to make this right.

I am still shocked at the level of service we got to address this mistake. Initially, I wouldn't have recommended this company but after experiencing how much they care, I would recommend using Volt Doctor.

We contacted Volt Doctors to fix issues with our breakers.

1. They did not fix the issue
2. When I called for them to return to re-evaluate, they never showed
3. When I contacted again they said they had returned, when they never did, and when I asked again for an appointment I never heard back from them.

I contacted Volt Doctor about 2 weeks ago to put a ceiling fan in my bedroom, which is huge. Todd came out, gave me a quick quote to rewire my outlet and switch, and then less than a week later he came and did the entire thing in less than 2 hours. The price was definitely a bit steeper than I expected, but then again I was asking for a fan installation with no existing wiring and for a complete rewire of my light switch and outlet, so I'm not too surprised. He was professional, punctual, and very friendly. My room is now much cooler and in the middle of this heat wave, I couldn't be happier!

An electrical problem with lights and outlets not working on Sunday, Jan 28. Volt Doctors called as they are one of a few compannies that answer weekend and afterhours calls.

They charged $459.03 which was comprised of
a $259 Diagnostic fee,
a $69.00 Afterhours dispatch fee, and
a $99.00 troubleshooting fee
only to tell me the problem was a Duke Energy problem!

Following my posting of the above review as one star, I was contacted by Mr. Clark, Owner of Volt Doctors. After hearing my concern, he refunded $259 Diagnostic fee and gave me his personal phone number in case I had further concers.

Clearly Volt Doctors are a great company. They are always on time and very courteous. The work that has been done has been very professional . I will use them again and I will recommend them to any of my friends in need of electrical repairs!

I asked Volt Doctors' Eric S. to quote an attic fan fix / replacement. It didn't need to be fixed and it had it working in 2 minutes. He was very decent about it.

Since he made the trip I asked him about a possible electrical issue to a A/C heat exchanger. He found a blackened wire & replaced it right then. He tested and found a blown fuse. He gave specific information about a disconnect should it need to be replaced. The ultimate cause was the 20 amp fuses were below minimum. These things are always obvious in hindsight. but he helped get me there.

The point is, Eric was polite, knew his stuff and genuinely and sought to get it done without putting fees before everything else. Excellent.

Whenever we need any electrical work done, we call Volt Doctor's. Eric is outstanding! Not only is he very good at what he does, he also takes the time to explain what he is doing and suggest alternative options that may be less expensive. It's because of this that we have the utmost respect and trust in him. As long as Eric is with Volt Doctor's, we'll be repeat customers! Cydney in the office is also very nice to work with.

We had a great experience with Volt Doctors. John was on time (a little early, which was great), immediately found our problem, and took the time to teach us about what to do to avoid it going forward. Definitely a worthwhile call!

Eric was super helpful! He installed our electric vehicle charger a couple years ago. Just had a minor mishap with the cable. He came over, same-day, and fixed super quickly!

We’ve used Volt Doctors 3 times now and have been happy with the work, as as well how management handles issues. When a technician did not meet expectations, the team was quick to respond and make things right. We will certainly call them again.

Great work from Volt doctors. On time and professional. I had a change order day off and it was no sweat for them. Ivan and Sean (sp?)did a great job. Talked me through the job and any options I had. i will definitely be using Volt and Ivan again.

We've had Volt Doctors come out a few times now, and have always had an excellent experience. Recently, John from Volt Doctors installed a ceiling fan on an extra high vaulted ceiling in our home. He went above and beyond to make sure the work was done right, was always friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing. I definitely recommend Volt Doctors.

Nathan was my technician. He came out very quickly and found the problem very fast. He was super friendly and professional and very kind to my kiddo and dogs. I was very impressed how quickly he found the problem, and appreciate having a good explanation of what was wrong as well. I highly recommend Volt Doctors!

Eric was our technician and he did a fabulous job installing new recessed ceiling lights in our den. He was professional and prompt. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and price point. I would highly recommend and would definitely use their services again.

We had Eric S come out and replace our old Gould panel with a new Square D Homeline panel. Also, we had a new high amp circuit added to our backyard shed. The homeowner (me) did not arrange the inspector to come out in time, but Eric took it in stride and worked on the outdoor circuit. Today the panel was installed and approved by inspector. This time, the electric company was late coming out to turn off power and Eric had a revolving door of inspectors checking his progress. So kudos to Eric and the Volt Doctors being flexible. They were a great value and Eric has always been available by phone or text. Highly recommend.
