The team provided great and timely service for my kitchen upgrades. Where cuts had to be made, they were small and repaired. Would recommend always getting an estimate from this team. They may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Excellent work that's up to code.

I am so pleased! I had my first diagnostic appointment today with Eric Stocks. I had an appointment and he came right on time and called first. I have a number of projects that need doing in my aging home. He made several great suggestions and checked and repaired outlets in my home as part of diagnostics. He explained things thoroughly. I already have my estimate. Eric was friendly and knowledgeable. I cant say enough great things about him! I look forward to working with him

Volt Doctors was able to quickly respond and replace my entire electrical panel that had been damaged severely from a storm. Luke Hurley was the electrician who did all the work and he was very professional, answered all my questions and did great work in a very timely manner. I contacted Volt Doctors through Home Advisor on Sunday, not expecting to hear anything back until Monday, but Todd emailed me back right away and we set up a time on Monday for a tech to come out. Eric called to let me know he was on his way as I was told he would. He was professional and personable. I told him the history of the problem and where I was at the time. He took a look at a few things, and fixed it pretty quickly. He even managed to get through the gate I use to keep the dog out of the room without asking me how to work it! I am happy with the service provided and will hang on to the business card in case I need him again!

We bought an older home that had various electrical problems. I called Volt Doctors on a Saturday morning, and was quickly attended to and an appointment was set up for Monday morning. Michael showed up and was very professional and friendly. He was able to make all of our repairs, plus a few extra things that came up last minute in one day. The job ended up costing about a third of what we expected. Highly recommend these guys and we will be calling them in the future when we change out our light fixtures!

The electricians of Volt Doctors are very professional and have excellent knowledge of their trade. Steven and his team installed 2 circuits in our house and relocated some wall outlets in our kitchenet. They are very easy to communicate with, give a quote and schedule the work quickly. They obtained a permit from the city before they started and got the work inspected after they finished. They might not be the cheapest company but they know how to get the job done and they don't cut corners which is critical for safety of people and property.

Tiffany in the office is great to coordinate the work and make appointments. She responds to emails very quickly. She's an exception these days since many contractors schedule estimates several weeks and work itself several months in the future!

My special thanks go to Steven for his excellent work and professionalism. He wouldn't mind coming back to fix an issue caused by the backsplash installation. Not only did he come back but also did it for free. They were also fair in lowering the final payment because they didn't have to move all outlets. A lower payment amount than the estimate is not something I see often. I didn't even have to ask them for an adjustment.

Volt Doctors was recommended to me by my plumber, Curry at Full Stack Plumbing, and I owe him big thanks for that. I would call Volt Doctors and Steven 1st for my future electrical needs.

We had an excellent experience with Volt Doctors! When Eric came out to give us a free estimate, he clearly explained what would need to be done for the various electrical projects we were considering, as well as the costs involved. On the day of our appointment, Eric was prompt, knowledgable, friendly, and informative - he even threw in a bit of free advice for an issue I was trying to figure out on my own. The prices were fair and competitive with the other companies we looked into, but the customer service we received from Volt Doctors secured them as "our electricians" for now on. Hunter and Ashley came out and placed a ceiling fan and can less lights in my kitchen. They were quick and efficient, very respectful. did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

We had major damage with the recent storm and lost power from dislodged electrical box. The entire team here was so responsive and helpful. They even arrived earlier than planned, gave us text and picture updates by phone. Could pay on site via card. Even after service completed, we needed a fuse change to get the AC on, they came right back the next AM first thing and fixed that within minutes. I was expecting long delays and normal frustrations, but Volt Doctors completely exceeded expectations with great service!

Eric Stocks has been to our house once before. Lucky for us he was sent out to our most recent repair. He was communicative about his availability/arrival time, offered options for the repair with varying costs, listened to our needs/concerns and explained terms that we weren’t clear about without being condescending. Overall probably the best experience we’ve had with a technician. We’ll definitely ask for Eric the next time we call Volt Doctors.

First, I’d like to recognize Tiffany, the dispatcher who took our initial phone call. She was professional and understanding about our concerns. She gave us an estimated time when the technician would arrive and an estimated cost — she was correct on both counts. Excellent customer service
The tech, Andy, arrived as predicted and was already aware of our issue. He quickly ran some diagnostics and identified the suspected problem. He was very personable and easy to work with. His evaluation of our home’s electrical system and distribution panel was very reassuring.

Volt Doctors is absolutely the best. Ashley who came today was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He even followed up with a phone call hours later to make sure everything was okay. Definitely 5 ⭐s!

Beware this company withholds monies owed to their subs for no apparent reason. I would not extend them any credit terms.

Eric was great with installing light fixtures and dimmer switches! He was right on time and able to do the work the same day! Also - Tiffany in the office was very friendly and easy to work with! Not my first time with Volt Doctors and will always call them for whatever work needs to be done!

On one of the hottest weekends of the summer in Durham our AC unit stopped working and our entire home electrical system was acting very strange. Thankfully after a quick search we discovered Volt Doctors and it’s 24 hour emergency service. The dispatch team was quick to send out an electrician, who actually arrived earlier than anticipated. Eric Stocks was our electrician and was extremely quick and professional in diagnosing the issue and to recommend a solution to get us back up and running.
