Easy to deal with, quick appointments. Tech Eric diagnosed my fire hazard very fast and fixed loose wires and a charring/melting breaker. He was professional, courteous and thorough. Was very impressed and I actually recommended him to my neighbor.

I had a great experience with Volt Doctors. They were extremely responsive by phone and email when scheduling an estimate and the actual work and when answering questions about my quote. Their quote was lower than others and included the cost for a work permit. Hunter and Ashley were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient at installing multiple ceiling fans and a new outlet at my house. They make a great team and clearly take pride in their work. They also gave me helpful tips about my house's wiring and how to troubleshoot (unrelated to the projects they were working on). I am already thinking of more home improvement projects and plan to use Volt Doctors and ask for Hunter and Ashley again when I'm ready to schedule.

Edit 8/2023: I had Hunter and Ashley come back for another project to install recessed lights in several rooms and a new wall outlet. They did another great job. Again, very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. The office staff are also easy to work with. The work from our first project and the lights and outlet from this project are all working great. Thanks again!

Ashley Beck came out at 7am on a Sunday to replace a part so we could get our power restored quickly. He was knowledgeable, quick, and was able to talk with our power company directly to get everything squared away and set. We appreciated it!
Also grateful for Summer’s help early in the morning to dispatch someone out, and to go back and forth with our electric company to get some additional answers.

I hired Volt Doctors to make a number of overdue electrical repairs and improvements at my 45 year old house. Steven H. provided a detailed estimate ahead of time and answered all of my questions in a friendly and respectful manner. He and Henry were a great team on the first day of upgrades and I was especially impressed with their coordination installing a new ceiling fan in my living room with very limited attic access. Throughout the job, Steven consistently checked in with me on my installation preferences, which I really appreciated. Upgrades included replacing and moving outlets and lights, adding a new 20 amp circuit, adding a new 15 amp circuit, and installing a new ceiling fan and switch. Everything passed inspection with the City of Raleigh a couple days later. Overall I am very happy with their work and recommend Volt Doctors without reservation.

I am so great full for Volt Doctors. I smelled electrical burning and called Andy. He sent his best guy immediately and fixed a loose wire it that had melted almost completely away. Henry Dean was polite, professional and very knowledgeable in his craft. I highly recommend Volt Doctors for your future needs.

I am beyond thrilled with the work that M-Power Electric did in my home. I have many north facing rooms that always felt dark and gloomy. No matter how I tried to decorate they remained flat. I now understand that proper lighting truly is essential in bringing a room to life. That being said, M-Power Electric did a great job installing additional lights but most importantly they came up with a lighting design plan that was perfect for my home. We recently remodeled the exercise/flex our room. We installed new cabinets, which required moving several electrical outlets. We also decided adding some extra units.

M-power did an excellent and thorough job. After completion of the work, the owner of the company even came out to personally inspect everything. I highly recommend using M-power. We'll for sure call them back when it is time to install the new overhead lights for that room.

Fantastic electricians and really nice, easy people to work with. They completed a difficult art light installation for me that required patience and attention to detail. They did the job without damaging my existing drywall and left the work area spotless. I highly recommend them!

Highly recommend! I needed an outlet moved and pre-wire for a mounted tv on short notice. Ricky was responsive, flexible, and gave me a fair price. I was really pleased with the work and that they were able to squeeze me in! Will use them again for future projects.

What a great company. We had Darryl come and give us an estimate for two new outlets and he was back the next day to do the install. Darryl is a great worker. Showed when he said he would. Cleaned up when he was done. Well done M-Power Electric.

To be honest, I feel very fortunate that I came across M-Power and Darryl. I had a less than favorable experience with another company which replaced my interior panel box to fix my mysterious power outage problem to most of my home. That didn't fix the problem, so they wanted to replace the exterior panel box and meter base (which it turns out was partially melted on the top). This time I wanted to get more quotes so I used Yelp, and it sent out my request to one that I picked and a few random ones. M-Power was one of the random ones, and I thank God (not a figure of speech) they were. Darryl came, diagnosed the problem, explained all of my options, and came up with a plan that was the most economical and had the most long-term benefit. He came and literally worked all day and into the night to make sure I had power that night. He checked in on me multiple times over the next few days to make sure all was well. I literally couldn't be more thankful than I am to him. All of this and it cost less than the other company charged to replace the interior panel and it was three times the work. You can't go wrong with Darryl. He has without a doubt earned my loyalty.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Very helpful staff and knowledgeable technicians. They took the time and extra care to do things right and left my place looking spotless. Will definitely be calling these guys for future projects and electrical issues.
