Plumbing reviews in Raleigh, North Carolina

We had a tenant call us saying they had no water. Woodall’s Was so kind. They went out of their way to fit us into a tight weekend schedule. Worked on a Sunday to make sure they got water. So pleasant and kind. I highly recommend!

Our well pump failed. We called Woodall. They were able to come out to the house that day and replace the pump. They were efficient and professional. Cleaned up and left the area as it was when they arrived. We are thankful they were there.

I called to get a quote on getting our well pump fixed. I was explaining the situation and told them we bought and tried to fix the pump ourselves but before I could finish he rudely said they don’t work with other peoples stuff and hung up on me. Obviously y’all will use your own product and I understand. I just wanted a quote and time frame. Very rude and unprofessional

We had been taken advantage of by another place that pumped out our system three times in 4 weeks. Couldn't explain why we were having issues with the backyard flooding.... then dug up our backyard and it was a disaster with nothing that came of it!!!! The guy who pumped it out.... he sprayed bug spray around the tank and we have chickens in the back on top of calling our homeschooled kids retarded!
However, here....These guys here are beyond amazing, super honest, the nicest guys and are so quick. Were careful with our yard and drainage of our system. You can trust the workers here and you won't be taken advantage of. There is no other place that is better or more honest than these guys! There is no other place that is better or more honest than these guys! Only use these folks!!! -
So knowledgeable! We had a couple of guys come out to take a look at a well on a house we may purchase. They gave a ton of great information to help us make a very informed decision about whether or not to move forward with buying the house. We so appreciate their input!

Andy and his son Travis do an exceptional job. They are reliable, honest and punctual. I recommend Woodall's to all my clients, friends and family.

Upon finding a pressure leak on my well head, Woodall was prompt to respond to my phone message and get the problem serviced. They were there in good time and quickly fixed the problem. The cost was good and the service was excellent. Thank you

Travis and his crew were very thorough and professional and did an excellent job for us. Two of our neighbors had highly recommended Woodall's Pump Sales.

Woodall's Pump has exceptional personnel, with strong expertise and fantastic work ethic. Travis and Al were a pleasure to interact with... they even accommodated our need to fix a well without damaging any plants in the botanic garden!

Woodall's are so far above the average plumbing company, it is unbelievable. Excellent is what they are. They know their stuff, they're quick to get to you. They are there to help you, that is their main concern. In my opinion, they do not price gouge, and they are worth what they charge.

These guys are a trip. Do not deal with Woodall's or believe anything from Travis or Andy. Travis lied when he gave us a quote to have a well drilled out and then tried to bill us more. Then when I tried to talk to the owner, he was rude, wouldn't listen and then harassed my mom who had nothing to do with the deal while she was recovering from surgery to remove a tumor and my father is in the hospital and cant move his legs. These people lack professionalism and respect.
UPDATE:
I just read Andy's response and it is more lies. However, the tone has changed as this is a public forum. To clarify, they did work that should have taken a couple of hours and charged 860 dollars. Way over charged. Then the quoted 1500 well drilling fee plus 12 dollars a foot and failed to mention the 868 dollar fee which actually turned it into 2368 plus 12/ft. Not only that, it took months to actually get a driller out to the site. They always found some reason they couldn't make it there. Then they curse and threaten me when I disagree and tell them they need to honor their quote and bill reasonable rates. These guys are liars and they are rude. I again state that you shouldn't hire these guys. This had nothing to do with my tenant and there is no reason they should call and yell and harass my mom because they didn't get what they wanted. -
Called on Monday Dec 31st hoping to get someone out to service a pump that went out 2 days before. Before a holiday weekend, I wasn't sure if I would have any luck. They got a crew out an hour or so later and throughout the whole process they kept me informed of costs, findings, and solutions. They gave me a couple options and explained each very thoroughly. The new pump and associated components were installed and now everything is working great. I would highly recommend Woodall's.

Travis was quick to respond to my call, and he did a first-class evaluation of what the issues were with my well and well pump. He did the work necessary, it was done well, and at a reasonable cost. There were no surprises, the work was done quickly, cleanly and effectively.

Woodall's Pump Sales & Service is one of the best business I’ve ever worked with. I’ve used them for plumbing needs in my personal home and for larger waterline work in the family business. Andy, Travis & Al are hard workers that do not give up until they find and fix the problem. The work is done in a timely manner and at fair and reasonable rates. They have a work etic that is hard to find these days. It comes from Andy’s grandfather that started the business years ago.

They came out same day to do a service check up. I was so scared that it was going to be expensive. I was pretty certain it was the well because I've had a plumber come out and tell me that that was their conclusion. Travis and company had the water on in about 10 minutes told me they would need to replace the tank and quoted me a price that was more than fair. I literally broke down into tears because I was already at worst case scenario I was so happy. There are so many places out there that will price gouge you and this place is just not one of them thank you so much guys I really appreciate you.

We've been using Woodall's for years enough that when we wake up in that morning and find we have no water we don't panic. They always fit us right in and their team quickly diagnosis & fixes our problem. They are very personable and great to work with.

Best Well Company I have ever dealt with and I have used several! We have a well that has continually given us problems and have replaced the pump three times and have put out thousands of dollars to find the problem.
I ran out of water and was desperate. Woodall's came highly recommended to me by a good friend who said he personally knew Andy Woodall and that he was a man of good character and honest dealings. So, I called them and found out my friend was right about Andy.
Andy sent his son-in-law, Travis, and his assistant, Al to my home within 24 hours.
After careful examination of the well, the pump, water levels, pressure and leaks, they found the problem, a leakage in my toilet. No one else has ever found this. Because my water level had dropped, they could have railroaded me for a new pump with more horsepower and new line for $2000 or better, BUT, they did not give up until they had searched the problem thoroughly. I will never call another Well Company. Finally found one I trust.. -
Travis and Al were both knowledgeable and professional about my well issue, which was just a severed wire on the well side. I enjoyed talking and working with them, and they were pretty quick to verify the problem I was already suspicious of. The cost was equivalent to others I quoted in the area, but all were high considering the work that was done. Pulling a 200ft well with rarely any troubleshooting shouldn't really be a $500 flat rate labor fee. I had never worked on a well before, but it's a pretty straightforward system. They didn't mind me tagging along during the process, so I basically paid to learn the setup. Next time I'll be pulling the line and doing the repair myself. Overall the quality of their work and senses of humor were great, and if you're not handy and live in the Raleigh area I wouldn't hesitate to call them.

I was very happy with the work that Woodall's did. I called in the morning and they were at the house that afternoon to check everything. Our particular pump was out of stock at the moment and they called immediately to let me know they would find one and get it installed in the morning or if i needed something quicker they were willing to work with me to find another company who might could help. They got the pump the next morning like they said and everything went great on the install. They even came in a few dollars under the initial estimated price. I would definitely recommend them.

Travis responded quickly, and they were able to come to replace our well pump 2 days later (this was not an emergency but needed to be done). They came when they said they would, they did a great job, they totally cleaned up the site when they were done, they were friendly and professional and we are very pleased. Terrific to do business with them.

Travis & Andy are the best. I was told by 2 companies that my well pump (and maybe whole system) needed to be replaced - between $4-6k. I called Woodall's for an additional quote. They came out and REPAIRED the pump for under $1k. I knew the other companies tried to take advantage of me and Woodall's could have easily tried to do the same. Honest company, quality work. I will never use another well company!
