Extremely happy with the service I received. Tom was so polite and professional. He even explained the issue so I could understand what and why the water wasn't working in case I ever have issues again. Would recommend using this company and ask for Tom.

Nate and Chris came out they were great. The were information, very nice and professional! Awesome job well done! They explained everything and left us with a smile on our face, didn't have to pay anything.

They let us know they would be arriving in 30 minutes on the day of service. He completed the job quickly, cleanly and professionally. While he was here he was pleasant and focus.

This company is wonderful, have used them for years for all plumbing issues. Just recently had a new hot water heater installed. Not only were they way more cost effective but also went out of their way to help us move some things and did a great clean up job. From over the phone and in person, everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and considerate. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

During the installation of the 1st hot water heater they attempted to install before going to get a second water heater (in my opinion by the way it looked at the bottom of the unit, it was one that was returned) they damaged the wall and said nothing. I called and emailed the company and JJ sent a friend of his that slapped some stuff on the wall, left paint all over the 2nd water heater and called it a day. They did not smooth the dents out and lightly buffed the area before using the wrong paint bush to cover up the mess they made on my new wall. I never received a follow up to make sure everything was good. I called the day prior to ask about what kind of water heater was being installed and they could not tell me, I asked do they not keep inventory of what they have and the lady said I would get better or equivalent to what I had, they just pick one up from the warehouse. That wasn’t true, what was installed was not a better water heater than what I had. They over charged on supplies/out of pocket cost in my opinion that the warranty company does not cover. I would not recommend this company.

Edit to response: The person JJ sent to fix the dry wall left paint all over the water heater. It is a good thing I take pictures before and after any company who comes out. I also have the emails and phone numbers I can provide for proof/reference. I stated the water heater appeared used in my opinion and that statement remains new or not and the so does the picture. Your company or JJ friend did a crappy job bottom line repairing the wall, and I also have a video of when they damaged the wall. Yeah your company not the one you’re trying to put it off on. I can upload it if you like.

I almost never write reviews for companies but as a former contractor, I feel the need to comment on the unprofessional manner in which my service was handled. Not only was the plumber unable to repair my clog he left my tub in a worse state than when he arrived, he disassembled my overflow assembly to work on the drain which he left completely disassembled. Not only did he not reassemble my tub when I went to check on the work after they left I found that they had scuffed my wall up and did not mention that to me. Overall the experience was horrible, one I would never wish upon any homeowner or renter please avoid this unprofessional establishment!

I am very disappointed in other reviews for this company that are either 5-star, or 1-star. A one-star should be the worst vendor you've dealt with, and the 5 would be the best using them and never another. There's a reason there are 2,3,4 ⭐ available.

That being said, I'm somewhere between a 2- and 3- star review with this vendor (I'll round up). On the plus side 👍, the owner is actively engaged, reaching out to customers. The technician I met was pleasant and effective. On the neutral side, the price they quoted for a (unknown model) water heater was in-line with what I could buy one for. On the down side 😡, they are slow to respond to what is a serious issue for a homeowner, that being a water heater is non-functional. I was promised an 'expediated' review of my issue and a quote, but didn't receive it until the evening the following day. Their pricing was completely unreasonable, such as $1100+ to install "isolation valve kit ,pipe cover, installation hardware, additional install materials" on top of the $1200 to install the heater itself. That's $2300+ of labor/very little materials to replace an existing tankless water heater that already had gas lines, water lines, electricity and shut-off valves. Here's what I think the problem is: it is a 3rd party warranty (Duke Power) of which they are taking advantage. I think the giveaway is that the quote I got started with "DUKE TANKLESS REPLACMENT" (sic). Duke pays them $2000 and then they hold the customer hostage with whatever markup on labor and material costs they want while the customer is without hot water. Some other concerns I had is how they use an AI bot to 'personally thank' the customer, and signing the name of the owner; but the final straw to compel me to write this review is that I got an angry phone call in the evening from the quoting person at the vendor who was upset that I said the price was unreasonable. I'm the customer, and I don't expect to be accused of 'insulting intelligence' or being talked down to from someone who "got a 97 in statistics in school". People can have bad days, but not having hot water and then being raked over the coals is worse.

I will be doing other follow-up actions, but wanted to let others know my experience in a fair and measured way. My advice is that they are likely a quality plumber, but if possible, shop around and make an informed financial decision.

What I liked about the service, the techs Nate and Chandler, did an assessment on December 26, on December 28, Modern Plumbing dispatcher called me to setup a time for December 29th to replace my water heater. The turn around was great. Due to the holidays I felt like the company had our best interest at heart. The tech walked me through how to use the shut off valves etc if need arise. They were professional also they cleaned up after the job was completed. That is why I gave them a five star rating. Modern Plumbing please Keep up the great customer service Sincerely one happy customer!

Outstanding service from start to finish!! My techs Caleb & Chandler went above and beyond to make sure my water heater was covered by Duke Energy. We have the protection plan through them. Caleb was extremely through and explained everything to us. It is rare to find someone that will go the extra mile. Lets not forget the incredible office staff. Every time I have needed to call they are the sweetest ladies!! We are grateful! We will be customers for life!!

Nate & Riko installed our beautiful new water heater today, 2/4. They called on the way installed and cleaned everything up like they were never there.
Very nice and respectful young men!!
Trust me when I say if you have a plumbing need call them!!

Had a main drain clog these guys came fast and where very reasonable. There plumbers thought about the main line clog and attacked it from two different directions quickly. I wouldn't call anyone else.

Elvis was very professional and found my leak in about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend and use them again.
