Another Matthew's plumbing review and another praise. This time for James. He was more than thorough, took pictures, mentioned a few places of concern from a leaky old toilet. Did a moisture test around those areas, checked out the condition of my water heater. Went above and beyond. Let James know I felt for him having to transfer and carry up and down the stairs but he was up for it. Professional and a good guy all around. Thanks again guys and gals.

i was very pleased with the service I received from Josh with Matthew's Plumbing. He repaired a leaking drain under the shower in my master bath for what I thought was a very reasonable rate. I will use Matthews Plumbing for future plumbing work.

We had two simple tasks: install a per-faucet water filter, descale our tankless heater. We got TWO leaks: one busted pipe and one improperly installed water filter (screwed on badly, constant dribble). Neither of them were caught and ran for weeks causing massive water damage. Matherw's refuses to take responsibility and even BILLED US TO FIX IT! insurance is suing them for us. STAY AWAY. They do NOT stand by their work!

They replaced my water heater with a brand new one, but damaged it in multiple places either in transport or installation. I sent them pictures asking about the damage and never heard back.

If I'm paying for a brand new full replacement, I expect the damages caused by the people I bought it from to be taken care of, not ignored.

Tommy did an excellent job at locating where the water leak was coming from. He was very professional and courteous. This is why I use Matthews Plumbing service.

James came to our house to help us address a drain fly issue. He made sure our toilets were properly chaulked, inspected the pipes under the house and gave us some valueable tips on how to manage the situation. He was extremely prompt, pleasant and knowledgable. We wil be calling Mattew's again - thank you!

The technician was incredibly patient in explaining the issue, and he was kind and respectful—he waited without rushing while I decided whether to proceed with the repair. I had never dealt with repairing or draining a toilet before, and while I initially thought the cost was a bit high, I was fortunate to be able to apply a promo code that made it more manageable.

They went above and beyond by also checking the water heater, which had stopped working. Thankfully, it turned out the flame had simply blown out due to recent high winds.

Also, I want to highlight how impressive the LIVE agents were. Their responses were so quick and accurate that I honestly thought I was chatting with a bot at first—but it was clear I was speaking with a real person who truly understood my situation.

I messages Matthews plumbing early Wednesday morning and within 20 minutes someone called me back and scheduled service for that afternoon. James arrived even earlier than the time and had our water running within the hour. He explained the problem and offered two solutions. Prices was reasonable and James was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

These guys are exemplary! Honest, professional, courteous…they are my go-to plumbers. After Norman fixed my toilet, he did a complimentary inspection on my whole house, making me feel well taken care of. Norman is the best! Thank you Matthew’s Plumbing!

Yesterday, Josh came out to replace our water heater. It was super close to the end of the day and it would’ve been easy to just say it’s a tomorrow/Monday problem but Josh went above and beyond to get our hot water back that same day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and he worked diligently till the job was done. Josh is the type of person you HOPE comes out to help with these types of issues - he cares and makes an extra effort to get things to the finish line no matter the time, obstacles, or a long to-do list. Really can’t say enough good things about the guy, a consummate professional.

Had an old broken tub fixture removed and new one put in. Tough job as it had to be cut through the tile as there was no back access . James was my technician and he was awesome ! Very knowledgeable and helpful with the questions I had . Though a messy job, he prepped accordingly and did a thorough job cleaning up.

Once I replaced the tile around the new plumbing , James came back and completed the job.

I highly recommend this company and will use them again !

I recently had my home repiped by Matthew's Plumbing Solutions (MPS). For me, there were some major concerns.

I'd like to start with the positives. Jerry, who did the initial estimate, knew what he was doing. Patrick has been a gem anytime we've spoke, and Nick & Norman were professional as can be. I wish Norman was the technician leading the repipe, because what went down was sloppy work at best.

We hired MPS to do a PB->PEX conversion. I want to preface with I knew that the drywall would be messed up, and it was expected. I gave Jason and his team full access to the house and left to be out of their way. The result of their work especially in my living room, was astonishing.

- Cutting into a structural joist
- Cutting into a load bearing stud
- Trash everywhere
- Pipe pieces and wood chips in attic
- Pipes and wood in the crawlspace
- Hose bib outside just on the ground
- Coke can left up on a shelf (this one is just hilarious to me)
- Tore down insulation in the crawlspace (and some other spots), didn't even try to put it back.
- Hooked up a sink backwards, causing my kid to burn his hands. - Sink also had a bad crimp, which I fixed.
- Lack of plastic
- Cut into my baby's closet for no reason
- Caused an entire room to be coated in dust, including a piano
- TV covered in drywall debris
- Shelves coated in it
- Didn’t close the door or put down any protection in the bathroom, had a drywall and tile dust haze in our upper floor where a baby sleeps. We’re still doing laundry and finding dust from this.
- Made a giant hole in the tub rather than using a smaller access panel
- Carefree drywall cuts, ended up having to drop an entire ceiling
- Joking about getting high off fumes in the crawlspace
- Couldn’t stop hammer drilling for an hour while my baby napped
- Broke my utility sink, refused to take responsibility
- Sloppy foam and tape work on the garage sink, didn't even secure the water lines to the wall.
- Hose bibs have no sealant on them - they're anchored to the brick but were not sealed.
- Refrigerator water supply box not secured to the wall
- Didn’t wear foot protection or put down floor protection
- Didn’t wear respirators when cutting tile and drywall. Silicosis is not fun.
- Didn't even try to sweep up when done
- Absurd price to put a bandaid on a leaking drain price. $900 for putting a fernco on?
- Aggressive and condescending attitude from Ken when I raised concerns

I chose MPS over some of the larger companies because they not only gave me a fair price initially, but I wanted to support a local small business. The callous condescending nature of management at MPS makes me feel like I have no choice but to write this review. They have done nothing to make the damage that they did right, beyond the 6% discount. No apologies, no offer to fix things, just "here's a small discount, go away."

I would recommend staying far, far away from MPS for any major jobs. They obviously do not value any kind of customer satisfaction, nor do they take pride in their work.

We had a great experience with Matthew’s Plumbing. Tommy was our plumber. He warned us ahead of time that if he could not remove the faucet handle kit, that he might have to put in a new shower valve. However, he was able to quickly make the repairs that we needed, without the extra work.

Excellent service. This is the second time I have hired them. The staff, Ta’Rone and Josh, a pleasure to work with. Friendly, professional and helpful, from the office staff to the plumber.
They installed my kitchen sink and bathroom sinks. The cost was definitely reasonable.
I would not hesitate to hire them again!

Great first experience. I typically use another much larger company. Needed some minor things done on several toilets and when the big company came out they just upsold and didn't bother to fix the issue I called them for. I realize this is an individual issue but even with the good techs the upselling is ever present.

Matthew's let me know that they would definitely pitch when something is needed but not unnecessarily so.

The tech James did solid quick work without all the yapping. I've found my new plumber.

I had an amazing first experience with the Matthew plumbing solution company. I had a issue that occurred in my home with am affected hot water heater, i called and they immediately had me set up for a technician to come out to assess the problem. Technician Nick Clay came by and he was just beyond amazing he explained things clearly he was very knowledgeable and precise. I felt so much comfort knowing I had a technician that could quickly identify the problem. Thanks so much to Nick for a job well done his experience, knowedlege and professionalism was absolutely awesome.
