Team can't be beat. If you’re looking for an honest HVAC company that is helpful and won't charge you for unnecessary parts or labor you need to give them a call. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I have several different units and even if they can’t fix the problem they help in finding an answer. There have been several instances when they have come out to my home or tried to answer a quick question free of charge. Great group of people like Rick and Travis. I’ve only been charged when they can fix the problem. Thanks for being there when we’ve needed you.

Heat pump suddenly pumped only warm air. Called Belk&Gay on a referral and they came very quickly in the rain. Repaired a dangerous situation at a very reasonable price

We bought a new furnace and air conditioner from Belk and Gay after trusting them to service and repair our old one for a couple of years. They are honest, and take time to offer the best service possible. This weekend our new unit was broken and without hesitation one of the owners himself came to my home to repair the unit, still under warranty. It cost me nothing to have it repaired. We appreciate their care and ethics.

Belk & Gay is an honest and respectable local family business. They replaced our air condition a couple of years ago and did a stellar job. A neighbor had recommended them to us.

Now, our furnace went on the blink. The owner and his apprentice came out to trouble shoot our failed system. They spent as much time as required to trouble shoot it and in the end made the correct decision of what was wrong with it. The main circuit had gone out along with a switch. I felt their pricing was reasonable and fair. They are our go-to service shop for all things HVAC. Highly recommend as they are very honest and knowledgeable.

I don't write reviews often, but was overly impressed with the level of service and professionalism these guys had. Matt came out and charged my AC that had a slow leak until he could get out to replace 2 complete HVAC systems. He answered all of my questions and was very honest in all maters. The quality of work was exceptional and would highly recommend him to anyone else!

check. Unfortunately it was leaking freon since last year. Josh was extremely polite and professional in explaining all of my options.
I am going with a new unit after discussing it with Josh. I have always used Dave Mathews since moving here on the recommendations of my neighbors. I feel that they are trustworthy and have never pushed any products that I do not need.

I was recommended to try Dave Matthews Heating and Air Systems for maintenance of an aged system and am extremely pleased with their service thus far. Zach was the initial service technician who came to evaluate the systems and made some recommendations to which Dan followed up a few weeks later. Both gentlemen were punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable in explaining the systems and repair required. Zach performed our maintenance and gave options on repair versus new on one of systems. As stated, thus far I am glad we chose Dave Matthews and look forward to a continued relationship in having their service.

Daniel arrived at our home within 3 hours of calling the office. He was, as usual, extremely professional and thorough. He inspected the a/c system inside and out. It now works perfectly. Daniel is the very type of person we want in our home, doing this important work. We will always use Dave Mathew's and have recommended you many times in our “Tree Tops neighborhood. Daniel is a terrific ambassador for your company. Do all you can to keep him and continue to hire people with his skills and concern.

Came home. My A/C was not working. Called Dave Matthews HVAC. They had someone at my house within 25 minutes. Zack fixed my old unit no problem. I would totally recommend them. Zack was great!

Mary's husband doing review. Replaced thermostat and it would not turn on. Called Dave Matthews and they responded quickly. Matt showed up before they were supposed to, a good thing. Explained what I had done and he went to check it out and had it running in minutes. Seems I did everything right except check the fuse which had blown (user error 100%). Fuse replaced and all systems go. Matt was friendly, listened and did what was needed with a smile and explained what was wrong. I highly recomend Dave Matthews for their professional service. He even laughed when I asked jokingly to whom do I make the check out to Allman Brothers?, what can I say I like Dad jokes.

Matt provided the perfect client experience. He answered my very first call to him. I didn't have to wait days. Our initial appointment had to be rescheduled due to weather and keep the second appoint although the weather was not so great for this visit either. I found him to be knowledgeable and proficient with a great personality. He gave me great advise, recommended some services without being pushy and got my unit in top condition for the summer all at a reasonable price. It's the first cold day of the year and my heat stopped working. I called Dave Matthews as they were helpful when my AC broke a couple of summers ago. and luckily they were able to come on the same day. I got a Technician named Daniel G and he had me up and running in less than an hour. He even explained what he was doing while he was doing it, which I appreciated. He was candid and patient about the system and explained what is good and bad about it, and he easily found the small problem and fixed it on the spot. He also gave my unit a thorough review explaining what a typical maintenance service would be and encouraged that I do one in the future. He was honest, professional, reasonably priced and not trying to upsell me. I will use them for maintenance in the future. I would recommend this service.

Our AC wasn’t working, Dave Matthews came highly recommended by neighbors in our community. They were able to send a technician the same day, fixed the problem and explained everything in detail. Very professional, experienced, and genuinely nice. Highly recommend them!

I had an excellent experience with the technician Bruce who diagnosed and repaired the issue that we were having with our AC unit. We had a technician from another company come to our home a couple of days prior to Bruce and he was not as thorough and came across as a haggler. Bruce was not only thorough, he came across as honest in his approach and integrous which is hard to find these days. Thanks to Bruce, we will definitely be utilizing Dave Matthews for future services.

As a consumer, professional, competent and punctuality are traits I look for when hiring a contractor to do work for me. These days it’s tough finding a reputable company that isn’t trying to retire off you. Dave Matthews Heating and Air, is the unicorn in the HVaC world. From the start, dealing with Doris, Shannon, Staci on the phones is always super pleasant and easy. The technicians are all clean cut and don’t resemble a police lineup or drug addicts like a few companies I’ve dealt with do. The comfort advisor , Jason was very informative, provided me data and information from unaffiliated sources and provided a fair quote that answered all of my questions. With the day of install here, the installers showed up all ready and eager to get my old system replaced with my new Trane system. They didn’t leave mess and trash like I’ve heard my neighbors deal with when dealing with other contractors. After the system was installed the installers reviewed the thermostat operation with me until I felt comfortable. Later that evening Jason called to check on us which I was not expecting. Glad to be apart of the Dave Matthews family.

Hands down the best Heating and Air company in the area. Timely, professional, reasonable, and above all HONEST. The technicians were very professional and explained what they were doing throughout the process.. Talking with the owner was great. You can't go wrong calling Dave Matthews Heating and Air.

Three years Dave Matthews Heating and Air have been servicing our systems and they continue to be a great company to work with. Dan M was out today and was friendly and professional. Did a great job cleaning and serving the unit. I won't call anyone else.

They are truly 5 stars! Dave Matthews is always super responsive. We first came across them last summer when we needed a second opinion for our AC which saved us $15k. Most recently, they sent a tech out for an emergency service on our heat. This company is customer service driven and their techs are experienced and friendly.

I had a HVAC that broke down annually with a different part requiring replacement. (<10yr old.) I had a major player come in and write quotes >2k each time. I called Dave Matthews this past spring to do an assessment. The technician acknowledged my system was aging, but it was still running, the other company gave me a 3k quote. The system ran fine through Spring and Summer. When fall came, I reached out to Dave Matthews and Matt came out to review and discuss options. We agreed on best option and the team installed a brand new system. They were professional, courteous and kept me informed the entire time! I highly recommend this business and commend them on a job well done! Rick and Matt coordinated subcontractors and all showed up at appropriate time. Job well done. Also, they give fair and honest pricing and demonstrated excellent customer service!! They have earned my business - I couldn't be more delighted with their service!
