Dave Matthews H & A was recommended by a friend. Our AC unit developed a leak and needed replacement. Matt the owner came out and spent time to evaluate our system. He gave us a few options and took time to explain each of them and recommended the best solution for us . He even then helped us out with a quick charge to keep us comfortable till replacement could be completed. The service reps were punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, an issue arose following the replacement. This is where the character of Matt and his company really shined. They were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to correct it. I could not praise this company enough and will be using them again when the time comes..

I have known the owner for over 15 years so I know he runs a credible and highly professional team. He has replaced at least 5 complete units in my properties, so know them very well. Very reliable and honest when it comes to what repairs are needed and when to replace a unit. Special kudos to his technician Bruce. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to AC systems and a problem solver like no other. No question as to who to call for Heating and Air!

Our AC went out late on a Friday. Dave Matthews made accommodations right away to have have Bruce come out. Bruce was able to diagnose the issue right away. He came back first thing in the morning and got our AC back running. He throughly explained all that was going on with it and the options. We had a small setback a day later. Bruce again, came right back and fixed the issue for good at no extra charge. I service with Dave Matthews annually anyway with great service, but this was an example of why they’re the best! Highly recommend!!! Bruce is excellent!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this company. I heard about this company through a family friend who had a raving review in regards to their customer service. I called them to get an estimate for replacing our ac unit, a full replacement is what another company told me would be my only option. Matt showed up to assess the damage, he's probably one of the nicest people I have ever meant, and very personable. Even Bruce, who they sent out to repair my AC unit, was also incredibly nice and extremely knowledgeable. These guys had my AC unit back up and running, completely fixed, within the day, something that would normally take a week. Not only that but they did it at a fraction of the cost that I would have paid somewhere else. This is truly a company that is going to do what is best for you. Even the ladies that helped me on the phone where incredibly helpful and sweet. I will be recommending this company to anyone and everyone that is having issues with their units.

Just had Steve out here to help me with a thermostat that I had installed and incorrectly set up. He was incredibly nice and was able to get the thermostat up and running in a matter of seconds! I absolutely love this company! Thank you all so much for your help!

They charged me around $1400 for coolant that lasted around 7 to 10 days. They didn't come back out, just wanted to sell me a system which didn't match what I had. Tech was here about 30 minutes for a $1400 bill.....

I've used them before and was satisfied but getting charged with a bill like this when they didn't fix the problem and tried to charge even more for what i didn't need is ridiculous.

Extremely happy with the responsiveness and honesty of Dave Matthews Heating & Air. Rather than just replacing expensive parts, Josh did a great job to troubleshoot and fix the problem for only the cost of a service call. I will be using them for all my HVAC maintenance and service going forward.

I am on the board of directors for a new community here in Waxhaw, N.C. and we needed some HVAC assistance this week. We chose Dave Mathews HVAC to inspect our clubhouse HVAC system including checking out the new installation of a programmable Google Nest thermostat. Their technician was way beyond great, on a scale of 1 to 10 he was about a 17 (seventeen)! Product and overall HVAC knowledge was impressive, customer interaction was par excellence, could not have asked for more from a vendor. As a retired professor of business from a Big 10 university I can tell you this is how a business is built, customers retained, and new customers added. I almost neglected to mention that their pricing structure is fantastic – a true value in today’s economy. Dave Mathews called me himself to see how everything went and if we were satisfied with the services provided. I would highly recommend Dave Mathews HVAC to anyone who needs HVAC services. You will get the best service, at a great price, and follow up to ensure you are happy with the services provided.

They are an outstanding company. Everyone I came across, from the wonderful lady that answer the phones to Zack and Matt. Customer service was on point. Something that nowadays is often overlooked. They installed an AC unit at my house and a couple of dampers I purchased. They never tried to sell me more than I needed. Matt was very thorough at explaining to me what his recommendation was. I never felt pressured. The installation crew were very professional and personable. Zack came by a few times and every time was very courteous and very friendly. He’s definitely an excellent asset to Dave Mathews. Their prices were super fair. I did get two prior quotes and Dave Mathews beat them both. They show up when they say they will. I’ll definitely use them again and will make sure to refer them out. Thanks again for the fine work.

We have used Dave Matthews for several years. They are excellent in every way and never try to sell you anything you really don't need. We had a repair done a couple of months ago (a leak) and I noticed last night that it was leaking again. I emailed the owner (Matt) late at night. The next morning they had already scheduled an appointment at 10:00 for the repair. Not only did the technician come but Matt also came to be sure everything went well. Absolutely great service.

I called Dave Matthews Friday night and Matt was at my home the very next morning. He was polite, professional, and competent. He diagnosed the problem with my HVAC and fixed it all within an hour at a fair and reasonable price.

We recently purchased a new a/c unit. While its never fun to have to replace a unit, and spend money, the team at Dave Matthew's made the best out of a bad situation. From the begging when Josh came out and checked the unit and gave us all of our options and what it could possibly cost, to make sure we were informed and could make the correct decision on what to do. Then we dealt with the salesman Jason Burnette who couldn't have been a more genuine guy who walked us through the whole process. Jason helped us get approval for financing and made sure the job was done correctly and efficiently. He had guys out here in less than 2 days with the new unit. We also received a 3yr labor and 10yr parts warranty which was really comforting knowing we're protected. Overall they have a great team with personable, professional and honest people.

I visited my dad in North Carolina for Thanksgiving. While there, the heater stopped working and being from California I needed it fixed right away. I looked up a few companies and decided to use Dave Matthews HVAC based on the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed! The office got me setup quickly with an appointment. The service tech was professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. It was fixed same day and this California girl was warm and happy again. I highly recommend using them for all heating and air conditioning needs!

We’ve known the Dave Matthews team since before Matt started the company. We are on a first name basis with schedulers, service guys and Matt. They have been just awesome with good, sound advice and prompt and excellent service. Being locally owned, relationships are important to them and they are incredibly responsive. I can’f say enough good things about Dave Matthews Heating and Air! We recently had a new A/C installed for our upstairs and they were fantastic to work with. Jason Burnette identified that our unit was originally too small for the space and helped put us in the right unit. Mitchell, the technician, went above and beyond with the installation to ensure the system was working optimally before completing the job. With Jason and Mitchell, these folks have an all-star staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely use them again!

My AC quit working during 100 degree weather, and a friend referred me to Matt. He quickly dispatched a tech to come out and diagnose the problem, the blower went bad. They immediately ordered the part. Stacey and JP went above and beyond to get the tech to come back the next day, and got me up and running with ease. I highly recommend this company.
