This was the first time I have used this company and I will say they did a great job. In the past, my tuneups on my furnace have lasted 15 to 20 minutes. The gentleman today spent over 45 minutes and was very thorough in his evaluation. I will be calling them back.

Absolutely ridiculous. Heat went out and we called at 4:30. Was assured someone would be out between 6 and 9pm. I called at 7, 8, and 8:30 to clarify whether we needed to make alternate plans (since we have young children and it's going to be 20 degrees tonight) and was assured each time someone would be out by 9pm.

Finally pushed through to after hours dispatch who said they had zero knowledge of the request. I did my winter tune-up with them, committed to their monthly plan, and they've lost me as a customer for good.

Guy was very informative on what he was doing and how the system operates. How much the repair cost compared to the cost of a new furnace.
Aaron did an outstanding job on the furnace installation. He took his time and made sure everything was working properly. Then he made sure we understood how the new thermostat worked. He left our house cleaner than when he got there. All of your employees we felt with were very professional and good at what they did.

Replace a 21 year old air conditioning unit 3 tons that was on its last leg. I received estimates from three separate companies. Hauser is 2000 less than the nearest competitor. This was due to a manufacturing rebate of a well-known brand. They were able to install it within three days. The installation took 5 1/2 hours two technicians. Extremely courteous explained every step of the way took booties on and off as they entered and exit the house cleaned up after themselves and now we have a much better fuel, efficient air conditioner.

Hauser is no longer a locally and business.
They are owned by ARS Rescue Rooter.
When calling Hauser Heating and Air you will reach a call center. The Call Center informs you that a response can take up to 48 hours even if it's freezing and you have no heat! This is not anything like the old company owned by Roy Hauser that we were thrilled with. The service tech that came said our furnace was no good and dangerous. They installed a new Rheem furnace that needed a 5 wire thermostat so the changed that also. After they left I determined that they changed the thermostat to one that wouldn't connect to our humidifier or our outside Condenser unit. They came back and installed a different furnace (Tempstsr) which after thr installation Techs left the new furnace would run without shutting down then locking out because of an error code, same thing as our old furnace did. They said the furnace fresh air was blocked. Now we're waiting to see if Hauser will change the price for the less expensive brand furnace. This all took 7 days out of which we had heat for only 3 days! WE WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HAUSER HEATING AND AIR AGAIN. We'll look for a locally owned HVAC Co.

We've used Hauser for several years, including replacing our HVAC 2-3 years ago. They were okay, though they left a bunch of junk in our yard from the install and had to come back several times to fix small things. I didn't think much of it at the time, but in hindsight the work could have been better.

The real shame is that they have apparently outsourced some of their administrative functions. They've been robocalling me every day for weeks - there isn't even an option to "press 1 to talk to a person." The recorded message just says to call them back. I called them 24 hours ago to tell them to stop calling me, and I have received 3 robocalls since then. No exaggeration. Seems you now have a choice of either constant spam calls, or unnecessary service calls.

Edit - repling to the business response of my review, the resolution is simple. I asked you to put me on your Do Not Call list which you said you did, and you have robocalled me 1-2 times EVERY day since then. Now I've simply blocked your number. Why lose a customer over such a small thing?

Had them out twice. The first tech could not figure out was wrong but flipped a breaker and the emergency heat came on so he left. Called them back 4 weeks later for the same issue and they quoted $1387 for just labor (part is under warranty) to disconnect 4 screws and plug in a new heater pack. Unbelievable what these companies are doing to people they think don’t know any better. He told us to put another log on the fire in a house with 3 kids.

Nicholas Foster (Nick) was fantastic. I was having issues with my humidifier and he took the time to show me the issues, walked me through my annual maintenance, and my summer/winter settings.

Really happy with my service and Nick’s professional and thorough knowledge - I now have a well working humidifier.

Always generally happy with Hauser, but today Alyssa’s service was extraordinary. She came in terribly cold weather, put covers on her shoes and got to work. She did the usual maintenance service, but she also did a full service on my humidifier and no one has ever offered to do that. Alyssa gets 5 stars for work ethic and knowledge and Hauser gets 5 stars for hiring her!

Team arrived on time. Worked through the brutal cold to make sure the heater installation was done correctly. The technicians were very polite, and installed in the timeframe that was quoted. Ran into a small issue with operation and ran out of daylight to continue troubleshooting the issue but stated they would be back the next morning to continue. They made sure that heat was at least on and able to work so I would not be without heat for the night. All in all a very good experience. Would recommend again.

The Hauser team finished up my furnace installation. The team was professional, friendly, informative and cleaned up afterwards. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them. The only issue I had was with communication once the job was launched, but I’d say that was not the installation team but more about the group scheduling the work. In any case, the job was completed to my satisfaction and I’m confident that if I have issues or questions this group will jump in to solve them.

I had a mini split (Daikin) installed by them a less than a year ago. In January, it stopped working. I called and they sent a tech out. He didn't really know what was wrong, so he ordered parts and planned to come back early in the day once they arrived.
Maybe a week or so goes by without any word from them. I call and the receptionist says she will find out what's going on and get back to me. She never does. I call every week, hear the same from her and never a call back Finally I have a man call on my behalf and they suddenly have the parts and an appointment to fix the unit.
It's working now, but the customer service is terrible. I bought the unit, own my house, pay for everything because of my own hard work. it shouldn't take man's voice on the phone to get a decent response from this (or any) company.
Look elsewhere, especially if you're a woman.

edited to reply to owner's response: yes, the tech did tell me when they expected the parts, but there was no verification of this. and his original assessment of the problem was correct, and fixed with the awaited parts. that was good.
but when i called, the receptionist told me every time that she would call back with more information, and she never did. this is the problem, not the length of time it takes to get parts. when the man called on my behalf, his complaint was attended to. my concerns were not. this is a customer service problem of which i speak. and if you promise a call back, then call back.

If you’re looking for a professional HVAC technician to put in your favorites contact, Matt Ellison is the person for that. I had my gas shut off by Duke after smelling gas in the house on one of the coldest nights we’ve had so far this year. Matt arrived that evening and was able to trouble shoot the problem, turn on one of my units so we wouldn’t be without heat that night, and informed me what the actual problem was. He took pictures of the issue, sent them to the office that evening so the materials could be ready the next day. The next day he came back and took care of the rest. He was very patient (I had many questions) and reassuring. He was also very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. I plan to use Matt for all future HVAC related issues.

Had to pay for warranty work on 2 year old furnace installed by this company or wait days.

Andrew was my technician and I thought he had done a great job. Friendly, honest, professional and kept me informed as he worked. I was especially surprised when he said that he did not feel that the heat exchanger needed cleaning. Both of my experiences with National have made me glad I switched to them.

Austin was very nice and fully explained what he did and why.

As a result of routine maintenance it was noted that the igniter on our furnace was failing. The estimate was sent promptly. Once I approved, the part and scheduling was prompt and easy. Austin Newman was on the call both times. Did a great job and even took the time to chat with me about his experience as an HVAC installer and now HVAC service rep. Good service and very personable.
