Justin and Russ did a fantastic job replacing the water heater in our basement during the storm last week, with our power out. They both did a fantastic job in explaining issues and have gotten the job done in the same day. Everyone at ApprovedPlumbing does a great job at ensuring you understand and are comfortable with any fixes that need to be made. They waved the service fee with replacement costs, waved a future service fee on a few possible areas should the need arise, and provided additional warranties on their fixes on top of the manufacturer's.

I had a drain problem and called Approved plumbing, set appointment, they showed up on time and explained what they were going to do. From start to finish they were outstanding all the way around. The technicians were awesome, went above and beyond. I will recommend them to all. Thank you Approved Plumbing!

Had them out for two jobs and one emergency call at our office building and couldn't be happier. Our building is about 25 years old and presented some unique challenges which Nick, Sam, Jeff, and their assistants handled flawlessly. During our biggest job (which was an after-hours shutdown), Nick and Jeff really went above and beyond to ensure the job got done and got done right. I work with a lot of contractors and it has been quite some time since I've worked with any with the level of workmanship and professionalism that these folks have. I absolutely recommend them for any work anyone could need.

The technician arrived right on time. He was very professional explaining the situation to me. He went through several troubleshooting efforts and provided me with several alternatives to resolve my issue. My issue was with my well and he said that Approved Plumbing doesn't always work on wells, therefore referred me to several local plumbers who are more experienced dealing with wells. I would recommend Approved Plumbing and Nick (technician) to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

My tankless water heater broke over the weekend! I called Sunday morning and Jeff returned my call within the hour and helped get me on the schedule immediately. I had someone at my house Monday, 10:00am. Nick (the technician) was fantastic, he called to go over pricing and options before anything was done. We agreed on the best way to move forward and he actually helped save me some money. He was nice, down to earth and respectful. I will absolutely call Approved Plumbing for any future needs and I will recommend to all my family & friends!

I requested that Approved Plumbing send someone with experience because my H.W. tank was making very loud noises. I am pleased to say that Russ Fox and Joe were the best team that I could have had, because Russ checked out my dishwasher and bath room shower. He decided to install a "hammer" device on the dishwasher line and replaced the H.W. tank. I had previously used a large well known plumbing company, but their only solution was to install a pressure regulator on my cold water feed line. Russ checked our cold water pressure and said that we did not need a regulator. Approved Plumbing has a new customer.

Also, Jenny, the receptionist was very efficient in listening to my needs and sending out someone that I would like.

I use Approved Plumbing for my plumbing problems. Joe was great, he was courteous, knowledgeable and fixed my shower drain. I would recommend Approved Plumbing for your plumbing problems.

Russ and Vince from the Broadview Hts shop answered my service call earlier than was scheduled (which was great). Very nice, guys. Russ inspected my water tank and heater (had no hot water) and investigated to find that it wasn’t the heater at all, but the gas company had turned of my gas without notification due to a leak and repaired it, again without notification and failed to turn it on without me calling.

Russ was willing to stay if needed to check everything but it turned out the gas company took car of testing appliances once the gas was back on.

I’ve used Approved Plumbing a number of times over the years and they have always been a great company to work with.

Russ from approved fixed 5 items, all different, but knew what to do, did a great job, was efficient and knowledgeable.

I was VERY disappointed to find out that once my service representative Nick came to do the work it could not be completed because I had been communicating with their AI “Rusty” not the actual company representative .
I had purchased a $1000 range that needed to be converted to propane. I reached out 3 weeks prior to be sure that they could do it. Based on all my correspondence I was reassured it would be done. I arranged to have them out the day after my range was delivered
The conversation never happened and I am still without a range.
Nick explained to me that they were testing out the new communication system and felt bad. This situation makes me rethink how AI is going to potentially destroy customer service.😞
I suggest you call the office and speak to a live person. They do seem to be a very professional and knowledgeable company. I would still highly recommend them.

Russ was very nice & informative. Explained each service that would need to be done if the previous service did not unclogged the toilet.

Approved Plumbing is terrific! The techs came in the time frame they said they would, were very neat, polite, and went the extra mile to make sure the space was cleaned up after installing a new water tank. Dawson carefully explained our options and when it was installed, went over everything they did. Vince was the other tech who also was very conscientious and worked hard to make sure everything got done correctly.

Top notch in every way! These guys are professional, knowledgeable, cleaned up afterwards and the quote matched other quotes received for our new tankless install. We will be calling Approved Plumbing for all plumbing needs from now on! Thanks guys!

Honestly disappointed.

Russ F. came out today to look at two different broken spigots, one in our garage and one located on the front of our house. By the way can’t say enough kind things about Russ, he was fantastic, the company and the pricing however, not so much. The price for fixing the front spigot (which we knew was a more complicated fix) seemed fair, minus the $280 they wanted to charge to simply cut our drywall to find the pipe so that they could repair it from our walkout basement walls, truly an outrageous price, but Russ let me know in the future I could cut it myself and save the $280. My issue comes with our garage pipe/spigot. About 2/3 months ago a 1 inch section burst on the middle of this pipe, since the pipe is exposed and Russ agreed that is was “easy fix” we were shocked to learn that the blanket price ok this fix was $465 plus the $99 service fee… all to fix a small exposed section of pipe. I don’t blame him, he doesn’t set the prices, but honestly that price is outrageous.

I really wanted to go with a local company whose owner lives right up the street from us and came as a recommendation from all of our neighbors on Vera and Sunnydale drive, but this really feels like price gouging. Now we’re out $99 and honestly disappointed.

I never leave reviews but for them, I have to! We have had Approved Plumbing to our house twice and both times, they were fantastic. Not only super friendly, down to earth and professional but also took the time to explain what was going on and the options we had which we appreciated greatly. Even the administrative staff were awesome when we called. I would recommend 6 stars if I could. This is the type of service you wish you could get more often! Thank you Approved Plumbing!!

Dawson went above and beyond with helping us replace our water shut off. He showed us everything he did and gave us insight on things to watch out for. He took his time and was very thorough. We highly recommend Dawson and Approved Plumbing!

We had a bad experience with this company recently. The technician they sent didn’t even investigate or attempt to determine what was leaking under our sink, just quoted us several large amounts for replacement parts. Two days later my husband tightened two hose connections under the sink (something the tech hadn’t even bothered to try) and completely fixed the issue! The two hose connections were just loose, and now we’ve had zero leaks.

I think this company is all about maximizing profits and I would not trust any advice they give. We’re so glad we aren’t out $600 of “replacement” parts that weren’t even broken to begin with!

Also, note that they charge a $70 service fee to come out regardless. Other plumbers I’ve worked with in the area only charge for labor and parts.

Nick and Vince replaced our hot water tank that started to have problems. My tank was on the third floor mind you. They asked if they could arrive a few minutes earlier - of course yes! They covered their shoes with booties, covered my carpet and treated our home with extra care. They talked us through what they were doing and took the time to ensure we were on board with everything. The company sought out a replacement tank with the same features and swapped it out. The dispatcher, company and the two service techs were great! I highly recommend Approved Plumbing Co.!
