I have had several technicians over the years service my furnace, not ever has anyone done such a thorough detail as did Dave. He was more than expected, absolutely above and beyond. He explained everything he was doing. He is the best technician and we are grateful for his service and attention to detail.

I contacted this company when my furnace stopped working. The initial visit was prompt (next day), and the technician diagnosed the issue as a bad main board. However, the service fell apart immediately after.

Uncertainty and Lack of Guarantee: The technician was unable to confidently promise that replacing the board would fix the issue, nor could he tell me what warranty the company would offer on the expensive replacement part, despite me explaining this was the second time this board had failed.

Severe Communication Breakdown: I was told the part would take about a week. After waiting a week with no heat in the house, I called multiple times and emailed with no response. When I finally reached someone, they were unhelpful and promised to look into "every detail" and call me back, which they did not.

Abysmal Customer Service: The follow-up call I finally received was from an agitated employee who could not provide a firm answer on the part's location or delivery, and when I pressed for an estimate on when my furnace would be fixed, he hung up on me.

Due to the lack of heat, the non-existent communication, and the utterly unprofessional customer service, I was forced to order the replacement part myself from a third-party seller.

I do not recommend this company. Their technical service may be okay, but their post-diagnosis service, communication, and basic professionalism are unacceptable.

Great communication, easy to contact and schedule appointments. The service reminders via text are very helpful. Quality work, we've had these guys at a previous home back in 2017 when the company was BERS and recently at our home in 2025 - all experiences have been great. Pricing seems reasonable. We really appreciate this company!

I had a very positive experience with Heart of Ohio. My furnace stopped running. From my initial call, I received a prompt and courteous response. There was minimal wait time, and the technician arrived on time as scheduled. The installation was handled efficiently and professionally. I called them to provide a yearly maintenance check and the response is the same. I appreciate the reliable service and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Heart of Ohio was quick to respond and had a plumber sent to my place first thing the morning after contacting them. Brandon came out and did a great job fixing the issues I had, while being friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. I highly recommend Heart of Ohio for any need you might have.

Had a furnace and AC unit installed in 2024. I had an Aprilaire 700 humidifier on the old furnace working. Once they left in June, winter came and the Humidifier didn't work. Called them out to look at it and do one of the included inspections, I was told its wired wrong and need schematics. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months and months to a year. I called Aprilaire and had a call last 7 minutes, got the schematics, wired it myself and now its working fine. For the service I received I was overcharged by atleast $1000. $8900 was the cost of my install and my working equipment was no longer working upon install. The rest of the system i am more than happy with but once they collected my money I went from a priority to the back burner. Aprilaire customer support saved me from buying a $500 humidifier when a professional company couldn't obtain schematics to fix my humidifier.

This company truly has a heart. When my furnace stopped working as temperatures dropped below 20°, they responded quickly and were incredibly professional and friendly. Scott was our technician, and he was knowledgeable, efficient, and stayed to make sure everything was working properly after he had fixed the issue. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical needs!!!! Thank you for your great service!!

We needed a gas line replaced for a fireplace and Dan was amazing!! So helpful and professional and the price was great. He made it a great experience from getting the quote to finishing the job. I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!

Moved into a new home. We wanted to have our furnace serviced and ensure it was being maintained properly. The tech that came out was very nice and helpful. Stated we needed some work done on our boiler estimating around $1500. Told him I would like to speak to my husband first. I called later that day to ask a question and the person at the Brunswick office said they will call me back. Never did. Called a couple days later to set up service for everything our tech described. They took my info and I never got a call back. A week later, I went with another company and they were able to send somebody out the same day and fix our problem the same day for way cheaper. The money is not the problem, but the lack of customer service in calling me back is what irritates me. You guys lost out on my business that day, but also my business for the future.

I would highly recommend Joel. He was very responsive, professional and kept us informed on what was going on. Will definitely use him again.

Came same Day to get the heat up and running then ordered the part. He needed to fix it right and came back after Christmas and fixed it. Very nice, professional, and reasonable would highly recommend.

Big shout out to Joel Lukacik with Nextgen Mechanical LLC. For 1, answering my phone call on a rooftop in a snow storm Friday. And 2, installing a new furnace in our house in under 24hrs. If you need any HVAC work done do not hesitate to call you won't be disappointed!
