Appliance Repair reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio

First of all, I loved the appt confirmation communications. Date, timeframe and even a picture and name of their technician were provided.
And Raymond was incredibly nice and informative. He fixed my fridge quickly and explained in simple terms what the issue was and how he would fix it. Upfront pricing that seemed fair. Not expensive and not cheap but fair.
Update: The issue resurfaced about a month later. Within 24 hours of contacting them, Raymond was back and the issue was resolved. They took my previous payment into consideration and only paid the difference for the new part that was needed. I was very happy with the outcome. -
The repairman essentially talked me out of fixing it because the quote he gave on 1.5 year old washer. He diagnosed it as the transmission so I went ahead and ordered the part and replaced. The same error code is still being read. So he essentially came out misdiagnosed, then gave a repair quote of 800 because I could tell he in no way wanted to do the repair himself and I am now out the disagnosing fee, plus all the parts I ordered to fix myself. At least have people willing to want to help customers and provide knowledgeable feedback. I would recommend another company with better customer service and desire to help a paying customer.

Our family of 5 needed our washing machine fixed. From booking our appointment to a functioning washer working with Mr. Appliance was easy, quick and a positive experience. Washing machine quit spinning on Friday and we were up and running on Monday! Jim was our tech and he was extremely easy to work with and fully explained what needed to be done. thank you!

We just had our 4 year old KitchenAid dishwasher repaired by Mr. Appliance. We were very pleased with their customer service and the two gentleman that came to both diagnose and then repair the dishwasher, a couple of days later once the part was ordered.

My refrigerator just a tad over 3 1/2 years old went out right before Thanksgiving and still under warranty. After completing a long detailed online service request with the manufacturer the wait for a diagnostic service call was 11 days. Mr. Appliance online service request was very easy and visit wait was one day and the part was ordered and repair was done two days later. Great response and communication from the scheduler and always so friendly. The repair technician Raymond was thorough with diagnostics and provided detailed information of what was wrong and the repair and part that was needed and the process to complete it. Pricing was fair and transparent. My repair was considered a major job and required two highly skilled technicians. Raymond and Kent … Thank you both again! I highly recommend this business and Mr Appliance will be my go to for any future appliance repairs.

My 28 year old Kenmore/Whirlpool washing machine wasn’t filling properly. Kent quickly identified the fix, ordered the part, and came back to install a day or two later. Without prompting, he tested the rest of machine to make sure it was working properly, and it was. Love these older, simpler machines. Thank you for keeping mine running, Kent and Mr. Appliance!

We own a GE Monogram refrigerator that is getting on the older side. Our technician Raymond was excellent. He examined the unit thoroughly & diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. Although he did not have the part on his truck he scheduled to come back in the early evening to complete the repair as we had been without a Fridge for 4 days. Raymond installed the new part and cleaned out the compartment thoroughly to ensure the unit performs to its peak performance.
Raymond did not try and upsell us on anything and spent a great deal of time answering questions about whether we should consider continuing to repair this unit or to buy a new one. His responses were very well thought through and were spot on to what we were thinking.
We will definitely call Mr. Appliance & Raymond back if we have any other issues with our appliances. -
The technicians showed up on time and were able to repair our dryer in quick fashion. They had the part on their truck so one quick visit and we were back in business. They were friendly and made me feel confident we chose the right place to do our repair.

Mr Appliance worked through getting very difficult parts for me (a door for a Miele oven), that was more expensive than most ovens. Miele shipped two doors that were broken on arrival due to Miele terrible shipping. The third time was a charm. Whoever was the person I worked with who fought tooth and nail to hold Miele to account was totally amazing, some of the best service I’ve ever experienced! I wish I knew their name so I could tell their management how good they were! My home sale was waiting on this getting done and it took months and Mr Appliance gave this extra consideration the seriousness it deserved!

or help in any way. -
Restaurant owners, you have no choice but to work with these people. They know it too. Avoid buying any equipment that depends on CPS.

We ordered a part we needed for our commercial dishwasher and they got the part in the next day, called me promptly to pick it up, and gave me very quick service at their location.
-
Terrible experience when trying to schedule a repair call. Very unreasonable and my 2 weeks wasted on waiting. Now I have to call another service provider

Website said part would be delivered in 3-5 days but it will actually take more than twice that long since "it is not a stocked part". This was not indicated in any way on the part's description or when I placed the order. They did however agree to make it right and the part is on it's way directly from their supplier at our agreed on shipping cost. Nice to see a company make it right for a first time customer, would order from them again!

I have used CPA a number of times for my commercial kitchen appliance needs. They do a fine job. I give 5 stars because of the service I received last week from one of the techs and the advice he shared. I was looking at a potentially $600 bill just to have CPA come out and do a diagnostic on my CMA Dishmachine and then to repair or order the part and replace. The tech support gentleman on the phone gave me some troubleshooting pointers before setting an appointment (I didn't even get this kind of support from CMA tech support). I see now why they book 2 hours for this particular service. 4 hours later I was able to repair the unit on my own. It was quite a process and very tough. I'm not saying do it yourself over hiring a professional, but it was just a pleasant moment to know its not always about booking the appointment to get the money. i will pay it forward in time!! Thank you. Jason

First Experience not good. Charged my credit card without notifying me of the cost and failing to tell me it was not covered under warranty. Apparently they get your card info because of people probably not paying them but on the downside of this they can just go ahead and charge you whatever they want without your consent. After speaking with the supervisor he was willing to make it right by reimbursing me for the labor charge.
