Three words to describe this company, Quality, Trust, Reliable. Mike Dempsy and American serviced my older home heating and cooling system long before I ever needed to replace it. They kept my 1965 Williamson furnace alive until last year, and even then, I finally broke down and purchased a new one due to the AC needing to be replaced. The technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, on time, and very dependable. When they tell you about your issue, they offer alternatives beyond a new system!
Mike Dempsy came out and put together a new system that fit my older home's needs, and our budget.
I actually called for information on buying a new filter for my AC, and Mike dropped one off on my door step that night on his way home. That is the kind of company American Heating & Air is. I would urge anyone looking to purchase or service their AC/heating system to call American. You will be glad you did.

When we bought our new home I was terrified when the AC stopped working. We thought , "There goes a ton of money we can't afford." Then I found American Heating and Cooling. There receptionist is polite and helpful and they don't give you a bunch of excuses and maybes. Their techs are prompt and polite and call ahead if needed. They are also very informative about how your system works, which is important for people like my husband and I who have no experience with an AC system. The prices are also VERY FAIR compared to what we have found in the Cincinnati area. We definitely refer their service! Thank you for all your help with our AC, June and Joe.

The Service Technician, Charles, did a great job getting my old hot water radiator system up and running again.
He helped me understand the system components and how to do the required maintenance. The receptionist was also a joy to talk to. The pricing was reasonable as well. I will return for any future needs.

Furnace wasn’t working so I called closest HVAC company, Charlie showed up within a half hour of my call and made a bad situation into a wonderful experience. He is truly such joy to work with. And my bill was very reasonable. I can not recommend American Heating and Air enough. Thank you!!!!

American Heating and Air Conditioning installed both our furnace and A/C units. When we needed a repair, a team was sent out within a few hours of my call. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. I'd definitely recommend their services.

Technician was very friendly and professional. We had a horrible leak coming from inside our AC and they sent someone the same day before a heat wave was due. The work was done right and at a very reasonable price. I absolutely recommend American Heating and Air!

Mike's team installed our duel fuel A/C ten years ago and we've never had a bit of trouble. Our energy usage has dropped 30% with the new system. His crew was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Over the years I have recommended American to friends and family and they have always done a great job.

American Heating and Air Conditioning is FANTASTIC!!! My Air Conditioning stopped working. It was not blowing cool air. I called American in the morning and they were able to get to my house in under 6 hours. The technician arrived at the time he was scheduled to arrive. He diagnosed my problem and had it fixed in under an hour. My house was nice and cool again. The price was very reasonable. I am thrilled with the customer service and professionalism of this company and highly recommend them.

Mike and his crew scheduled the install on a Wednesday morning. They showed up at the house bright and early and began working. They were very careful carrying in the unit and mindful of our home. Polite and professional.

The unit was installed months ago and has been working perfectly. We had one service call on an issue they didn't work on, and they responded immediately and took care of the problem for us. If you are looking for a professional, competitive, worry free installation of your home heating and a/c, I can't recommend anyone, more than American. Mike and his staff were great to work with!

The heating and air conditioning system was malfunctioning in a home I recently purchased in Indian Hill. American Heating and Air came out and tested the system, identified two minor problems and repaired them quickly and efficiently. Charlie (the service tech) was friendly and took the time to explain, in layman's language, what the problems were and how he would fix them.
Later, I had American back to do some re-routing of duct work. They worked well with my contractor to get the work done properly and on schedule.
They are a customer friendly, great service organization that doesn't try to pressure you into buying a bunch of service or equipment that isn't necessary.

They saved the day! Amazing company all around. We had no heat for 4 days thanks to getting the runaround from our home warranty company and the company they assigned didn't even show up for the appt and couldn't be reached. We finally decided to go with our own company and had heard good things about American H & A. I talked to Ginny and she was a ray of sunshine, esp after the misery of dealing with our warranty company. She was amazing and accommodating and got us in with Greg the very next day even though they were pretty booked. She was very sympathetic to the trouble we were getting from our home warranty company. Greg was awesome- He is obviously a well experienced expert and was able to zero in on the issue quickly. He fixed the issue and tuned up our system for less than the warranty company's deductible. It is very obvious that these people care about their work and their customers. Their communication and service were excellent. Our furnace is working great! We couldn't be happier that we found a reliable HVAC company.

This team truly cares about their clients. They are honest and do deliver a professional and timely service. At a time when our original HVAC service provider was trying to unnecessarily sell us on a new heating unit, this team came in and identified a simple fix for our unit. They also asked for a fair price and got it done on time. I highly recommend them.

When I initially transplanted to Cincinnati, I found myself in need of an entire HVAC system for a house my now husband and I had purchased. I went with a local two-name company that was widely advertised in the area. My customer service experience with them has been awful! Nasty, rude, and for no reason. To make things worse, our brand new unit has had a reoccurring issue since install. I literally have had to call every fall, to have a tech come out, open the unit, and replace a valve so that the house can be heated. To add insult to injury, I have to pay parts and labor on this now 5 year old furnace every time.

My husband and I moved to a new home recently, Our HVAC needed service and maintenance. This time around, I took my time contacting companies. If my initial phone call was met with a rude, dismissive, person who seemed generally put off to do their job, I ended the phone call. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ginny, at American Heating and Air Conditioning and her customer service blew me away. She was friendly, attentive, did her best to answer my questions and told me directly when she was unable to answer them. I've worked with her multiple times over the past year. Truly, other companies should use your Ginny as their standard of customer service. I've also had the pleasure of working with a tech named Charlie. He has proven to be polite, honest, and doesn't suggest unnecessary work be done. He was happy to discuss maintenance options with me, but was not pushy in regards to me purchasing these. A year later, I'm happily contacting American for maintenance support, and recommending the company to anyone who asks.

Truly the best there is in Cincy - they were on time, courteous and professional. My A/C went out on a Wednesday evening, and they were there Thursday morning to assess (Charlie). They also worked with me to fully replace my A/C and Furnace within my budget. When the team wrapped up on the install, they showed me everything they replaced, explained how to maintain it, and gave recommendations on air filters, etc (Keith & JD). While American didn’t install our current system - they have been wonderful working with us (we are new customers). From Ginny at the front desk, to Jeff (our technician)… they have been nothing but a dream to work with. We are really happy to have switched to their services (at the recommendation of a good friend/neighbor). They are responsive and will do their absolute best to get to you as soon as possible, which we really have appreciated during these high temp days. Highly recommend!!!

Last night, I came home to my furnace being out. American was able to come over today within just a few hours of my call! The person who scheduled my free estimate was so nice and helpful. Greg then called to give me a heads-up and arrived right on-time. He was incredibly patient with my house full of animals! LOL. He found that the issue was actually a failed igniter, had the necessary part in his van, and got my furnace back up and running in less than an hour. Amazing! My experience was communicative, reliable, helpful, and friendly! Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much, American!

I contacted American Heating & Air this morning after finding my AC inoperable. Their office manager, Ginny, who answered the phone, was extremely professional and upbeat and scheduled a Tech to the home within an hour of my call.

The technician, Jim, conducted a quick inspection of my equipment and make the repairs within 30 minutes of his arrival. He was polite and quite knowledgeable--clearly an employee who takes pride in his work.

As a small business owner myself, I can tell you that employees such as Ginny and Jim represent their company in the very best light and American is lucky to have them! My highest recommendation for American Heating & Air!

Overall fantastic customer service. Jenny is the woman who scheduled my appointment and she was very kind and cheerful. The technician that arrived at my house was Jeff Jones and he was not only super kind but he also was willing and able to answer any questions I had. I felt like I was able to learn about what he was doing and understand how I can better maintenance my furnace in the future. I felt like I was a family member and not just another customer based on the overall exceptional service.

I am so happy I found this company through a friend of mine. Jenny is fantastic, as is Greg, Keith and Mike who came today. I've NEVER dealt with the fantastic customer service from any other company. I'm having furnace issues, but I totally trust this company to fix AND NOT RIP ME OFF!!
