Excellent experience with Wingate. Had a very old HVAC system that was tough to replace, but the Wingate team did a great job. They were quick to get me on the schedule, and the technicians were professional in their replacement. You can be comfortable knowing Wingate is going to do things the right way in an efficient amount of time.

The moment I spoke with the receptionist I knew I wanted to work with Wingate. The woman was kind and compassionate. She was encouraging that their team would take great care of us and that's exactly what they did. The communication from the entire team was excellent. I appreciated the text I received before every technician arrived and the fact that it had their photo so I knew who was on their way. Ty was the first technician that we worked with and he was wonderful. He walked us through step by step on his process and what to expect from him while he was at our home. The sales rep Michael was informative and he did not feel salesy or push to make the sale. He answered every question that we had about the equipment and the financial aspect as well. Wingate’s thorough inspection of my furnaces revealed a cracked heat exchanger which is fortunately covered under warranty. Glad that the guys were able to spot this before it became a much bigger problem!

I just received the worst service I could have ever imagined! Between March 1st and March 5th 2026 Wingate failed to diagnose or repair a confirmed gas leak from the furnace at my residence despite multiple service visits, repeated video evidence and a utility shutdown by Duke Energy. Technicians repeatedly arrived without the proper detection equipment, no repairs were made and the issue remains unresolved. Management ultimately prioritized profits by insisting that I pay another service and diagnostic fee over correcting a documented safety hazard, leaving me no choice but to shut off the gas and retain another contractor. This complaint documents a serious lapse in professional standards, technical competence and customer safety!

Wingate did a very good job getting my water main repaired. They were quick to get the job done! They came out a second time to get the ground ready to settle and seed.

I wasn't an existing Wingate customer previously, but I am now! I made an "emergency" no heat call on a Saturday morning (after waiting for a company with which I had a 20 year customer relationship for over 3.5 hours). I received a call from Alex, one of the technicians, in very short order with an approximate appointment time for the same day. Alex arrived early (with my permission) and was incredibly personable, professional and extremely hardworking. He made sure to explain everything in detail and showed me everything that was causing the issues. He asked me several times if I had additional questions or concerns. Alex absolutely went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable not only with the work being done, but with the temperature of my home until the job could be completed. The entire team at Wingate was awesome! 100% recommended!

We had our furnace replaced when our heat went out. They were able to have it repaired quickly and for a reasonable price. Very professional and helpful.

We had an issue with our A/C unit and were fortunate enough to have Max Hamilton from Wingate handle the repair. Max was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had everything up and running in no time. On top of that, he was friendly, courteous, and took the time to explain what was going on in terms we could understand. It’s rare to find someone so skilled and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and highly recommend Max and the Wingate team!

When my A/C stopped working in the dead of summer I had no idea what to do… luckily, my friend mentioned Wingate and I’ve never been so pleased by a professional service. Wingate has become my go to company for hvac, plumbing & now roofing. James evaluated my roof & determined the true cause of the leak that I had fixed 8 mo before by another local roofing company. James was very thorough, knowledgeable & honest/ he even came back out to advocate for my home when the insurance adjuster arrived. He provided pics & video to upload for my claim. I appreciated his communication & support during the entire process. I will definitely be using Wingate for roofing now as well!

Wingate was incredible to work with. Replaced the entire roof on our house and detached garage due to wind damage. Excellent communication from start to finish. Did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Followed up after the work was completed to make sure all was well. Would not hesitate to refer Wingate to anyone!

Had a roof installed a year ago by a company who is no longer in business, called Wingate to come out and inspect a leak that had just popped up. Unfortunately, the company who's no longer in business installed shingles improperly at a valley causing the leak. Wingate and James Claire completed the repair, and we are now leak free! Would highly recommend!
