Very poor customer service. This place would not even take my call for repair. I have tried multiple times to get in contact with this place and last time I talked to a real person I was hung up on. I would not recommend wasting your time with this company.

Wow, Steve from these guys was the most honest guy I have met and took great care of us and had the lowest price of 3 places.

Unfortunately covid has put a damper on this family run business, hopefully with the virus now having a vax for it. This business will be up and running again soon.

Operator said that if they didn't install it, they couldn't repair it? Disgusted. Especially when the operator tried to get me to make a appointment to buy a new furnace. My furnace is only 6yrs old. Why would I want a brand new furnace?

Steve Collins and his crew are great - efficient work at fair price. They completed whole home A/C install for me, including ductwork.

I called about having repairs done to my furnace and the lady told me that they only do new furnaces and asked if I wanted them to install a new furnace. Now why would I want a new furnace when I just need a simple part but okay fine that’s what they do ... The upsetting part was how rude the women who answered the phone was and how she hung up when she was told I would not be wanting a replacement Furnace! Mean People Suck!

Collins Cooling and Heating did a job you would have to see to beleave FANTASTIC.
I had 2 air conditioner units replaced that included the air handlers as well.He had a group of guys including himself that reconfigured the whole system, you cant even here it run. The 5 star rating you would think they wrote it until you see there work. Other contractors said if its hot your going to pay more for me to go up there that turned me off but not Collins.They were friendly, courteous told me exactly what they were doing and answered ALL my questions and cleaned up at the end of the day. They also installed thing the other people had not even mentioned, Also I now have air in my sunroom. Before you call anybody give them a chance you wont regret it.

Friendly, thorough, good regular family people. Cleaned up after themselves and they didn't try to up-sell us on anything, which was nice. They were very informative in answering all of our questions and made what could be a difficult time, a pleasant experience. Steve (the owner) Julia, Nick and the whole crew who came out made the process quick, easy and painless! Would recommend them to anybody!

Steve and company are very professional. Furnace and air conditioning units installed as advertised...on time and with minimal disruption. Every aspect of of the job, including features of the units and warranty info, was thoroughly explained. Dealt directly with the owner Steve and received truly extraordinary service. Their bid which included a Rheem furnace, AC unit, and duct installation was very fair and the work was completed quickly. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely refer to in the future.

I called Mark about my AC unit smelling like it was burning. He came out the next day at the time he gave me and was very professional. He covered his feet before coming into my house and wore a mask. He was very knowledgeable about my situation and thoroughly looked for a solution. He made sure before he gave a diagnoses that he crossed all his T’s and dotted all his I’s. He didn’t try to replace something or charge me for something that wasn’t needed. I had a furnace problem and spoke with a few other companies before discovering Collins Cooling & Heating. The other contractors even though offered to change a part of the furnace, weren't positive about this option, and tried to steer me toward purchasing a whole new furnace. This didn't sit well with me, and boy, am I glad I spoke with Collins Cooling & Heating. Their rep was very knowledgeable, professional & courteous, showed on time, and answered my questions very thoroughly. They replaced a damaged part of the furnace at a very reasonable price, and now it runs like new again. I highly recommend this company.

I just had my entire HVAC system installed by Collins heating and Cooling. New central air conditioner, new furnace and a new water heater as well. What I really liked about this company was how easy it was to get an accurate quote and choose what equipment I wanted installed. The owner (Steve) was easy to talk to and gave me his personal cell phone number. I was able to take pictures of my current equipment and text them to him so that he didn’t have drive the 1 hour to reach my home just to get a quote. He came to my home the same week and made sure everything would fit where it needed to and scheduled the install when it was convenient for me. The quote he provided was exactly the same price that I paid in the end. No upselling or add-ons. He was honest and straight forward. Instead of sending one installer and making it a two day job, he sent four installers to get it all done in about 5 hours. Too many of these companies insist on being at your home and trying to up sell with high pressure sales. Some wouldn’t even talk price in general before scheduling an in home visit. I have no experience with HVAC, and I was relieved to be able to everything with no pressure. The pricing that was provided was more than fair, and very competitive and I didnt feel the need to get another quote or question the pricing at all based on the research I had done. No pressure from Steve, and the installers did a quick and clean one day job at my home. They showed up on time and prepared. Smooth transaction and I know that I got a great deal. Definitely worth your time to call this company and let them give you a quote. Thanks Steve and all of the installers who did such a good job!

Steve put AC in our first Lakewood home with no ducting/radiators and the price was phenomenal for him to run ducts to the first and 2nd floors, air handler and condenser. House is so cool, you'd never know it was a retrofit! When we moved to a larger home down the street, we hired him again and he was available, punctual and again, the price was way below everyone else. I challenged him a bit with not wanting to rip up any flooring on the 3rd floor and he found ways around it and listened to everything I asked. Can't recommend enough.

Steve runs an honest and fairly priced business that does high quality work. We had a new furnace and AC unit installed and couldn't have been happier with our service. Would recommend to anyone!

Our air conditioning stopped working and I called Collins after hours to schedule service. I was pleased to see the service technician arrive in the early afternoon and had us up an running within two hours! My wife is on oxygen and can't handle humidity so the speedy repair really helped us out! We definitely recommend Collins Cooling & Heating Co.

Steve and his team were life savers! We had him out for a quote for a furnace, AC and humidifier but we hadn't told him we chose them to do the job. The next night our furnace broke and I called him at 7:30 pm. He moved around his schedule and was at our house ready to do the installation at 10 am the next day!
