Carlos showed up on time, looked the part, and acted with integrity. He didn't try to sell us a solution for a problem we didn't have - he took a closer look and figured out what was going on. His advice was sound and reasonable, no upselling or fluff. The company's communication was top-notch too - they fit us in the day after I called, which was a big relief.
Overall, Carlos did a great job and gave us good value for our money. -
I was initially impressed with Fire & Ice's communication and salesperson, but my experience ultimately fell short. The level of communication after scheduling the work was not on par with what I saw during initial meetings, particularly when it came to updates about delays. A more transparent approach would have been appreciated.
When the crew arrived, I noticed a discrepancy in their truck names, which led me to discover they had recently joined Fire & Ice. It would have been helpful if someone had informed me about this change beforehand. Despite this initial misstep, the work itself was done well, which is why I wouldn't deduct points from my overall rating.
However, follow-up issues with Fire & Ice proved to be a different story. After three concerns arose, I struggled to get responses from their customer service team. The process was lengthy and frustrating, with promises of prompt attention that didn't materialize. It's surprising how easy some issues can be resolved if guidance is provided in a timely manner.
One issue remains unresolved despite multiple follow-ups and assurances from the Sales Manager Joe Orzel. My expectation for responsiveness and resolution has been consistently disappointed, which has left me questioning Fire & Ice's priorities.
It appears that Fire & Ice may have sacrificed customer service for growth, shifting its focus towards marketing rather than ensuring a positive experience for its customers. As someone who values responsive service and has previously opted for premium options to get it, I'm compelled to speak out against this company. Despite initial promise, my experience with Fire & Ice was subpar, and I wouldn't recommend it to others. -
Connor's work was solid, but his timing left much to be desired. Initially scheduled for 12-2 PM, he showed up at 4:25. This wasn't an isolated incident; the original appointment had been moved due to no technician attending as planned a couple of weeks prior. Notably, there was no follow-up notification when this happened, forcing us to reschedule. While technical service is satisfactory, customer service falls short in its communication and organization.

Tim Campbell's service was top-notch. He put me at ease with his warm demeanor and explained everything clearly, allowing me to grasp the facts myself. Unlike some other technicians I've had, who just finished the job and left, Tim took the time to educate me thoroughly. His expertise and genuine enthusiasm for his work were impressive. What set him apart was not just his technical knowledge but also his kindness and dedication to his craft. Overall, he exceeded my expectations, making Fire & Ice's service stand out from others I've used.

Berry fixed my broken furnace efficiently. When it started failing, he came right away and figured out what was wrong fast. He walked me through everything clearly so I understood what was going on. I'm very happy with the service - Berry did an excellent job from start to finish and would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their heating system.

My experience with Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning was outstanding. I started by reaching out to them about my old air conditioning unit, which had been on the fritz for ages. The initial call with Patti went smoothly, and Harry arrived promptly to assess the situation.
Given the age of the unit and the cost of replacing the R22 coolant, I decided to start an HVAC replacement project with Fire & Ice. Harry explained the process in detail, and his professionalism was impressive from the get-go.
When Shane came out, he listened carefully to my concerns (I was desperate for a quieter unit since it's right above the main living area on a slab) and provided me with options and pros and cons of heat pumps. I felt confident moving forward with the Rheem system, which included replacing an old noisy furnace.
The installation crew - Billy, Hassen, and Ricardo - got to work early and were able to identify a corroded water heater that was well past its service life. They waited for a new one to arrive and managed to install it in the tight space. Their dedication to their work was evident throughout the day, which lasted late into the evening.
The attention to detail was exceptional - from cleaning up before and after the installation to taking precautions like covering me from potential burns and tightening loose connections. The finished product looks great, as shown in the photos.
I also appreciated the financing process, where Shane and Danielle were efficient and helpful. Overall, I'm thrilled with my decision to hire Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning. After waiting for a long time due to various costs, it was worth it to upgrade my system. -
Complete lack of organization and follow-through when it comes to scheduling appointments. Scheduled a service for the morning, arrived at 9am expecting work to be done by 3pm, but nothing was fixed. Got a text saying someone would come with my part in a couple hours - didn't happen. Called back, they couldn't make the scheduled time on Thanksgiving weekend, so I guess we'd have to do it next week. How convenient is an early morning appointment? Not for me, apparently. They showed up at 6pm and worked until almost 10pm still, but no fix in sight. Kept getting texts with new times - two days after the last one, to schedule for the next day. Now I'm getting a call saying they can't find the part they ordered and we'll have to reschedule again for next week. This level of incompetence is appalling for any business. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you need someone who fixes Trane units - even then, it's a gamble.

We had a technician visit on November 10th to fix our furnace. They ordered a part and we paid half upfront, approximately $1300. Four days later, another technician arrived and determined the part wasn't needed. We've been trying for a month to get a refund but no one responds. The phone service keeps promising someone will call back, but that's never happened. Despite being told technicians would provide an invoice via email, we still haven't received it. Our only concern is getting our refund.

I had a critical issue in my basement that required immediate attention - installing a new hot water heater and replacing the main drain. Tim from Fire & Ice arrived late Friday afternoon but offered to return Saturday to complete the work. His estimate was spot on, and he worked with impressive competence and efficiency. I'm thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and honesty. He's now my go-to plumber for future needs - thanks to his exceptional service.
-
They were extremely busy, which led to an 11-day delay for my appointment. On the scheduled day, I didn't receive any communication from them despite being confirmed via test message a day earlier. When I called to inquire about the technician's arrival time, they offered a new appointment three days later. Given their hectic schedule, it remains to be seen if their service is worth the wait for me.

My technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He clearly explained the issue with my water tank and suggested a fix, as well as helped me secure financing. His professionalism impressed me - he's definitely the kind of service you want.

The team delivered a top-notch replacement of our old HVAC system with a brand-new one. The job took all day, even in freezing temperatures. Once the new furnace kicked in, our home's temperature shot up from chilly to comfortable in a remarkably short 30 minutes. Eric and his crew kept us informed every step of the way.

I was assured that being without heat would put me at the top of their list, which is understandable given the situation. However, after the initial issue, I heard nothing and had to follow up - there were no updates on whether the necessary part had been ordered. The scheduled maintenance visit was set for a week later, completely unrelated to the previous day's service call. With freezing temperatures forecasted for the following week, I have no alternative heat source. When I brought this to management's attention, they claimed to have better access to resolve the issue with the supplier. Given the priority of my situation, it's unacceptable that it took a week or more to acquire the necessary part rather than a few days.

I had a maintenance visit that started off okay, but it took a turn for the worse when I expressed hesitation about committing to a service plan. The technician became abrupt and dismissive after that, barely answering my questions about the second-floor issue - he simply said it should be good. Despite this, I noticed the AC unit still had debris at its bottom, and most of the tech's work seemed to consist of just spraying down the exterior and running diagnostics. This visit was underwhelming compared to previous experiences with other companies that offered similar services at lower costs with more in-depth expertise.

Tevin did a great job and answered all my questions thoroughly. However, I had some issues with communication from scheduling.
A few things could be improved: the initial reminder to confirm the appointment for that day was missing, so I ended up calling to verify it. Additionally, I was told the technician would arrive between 1-5 pm, but he showed up around 11am, which was a bit too early and left me wondering if I should have been home at an earlier time slot.
It's standard procedure that the technician sends a notification when they're on their way, like saying they'd be there within an hour. Unfortunately, this didn't happen for me. Given these issues are part of my service agreement, no payment was due today. -
We recently hired David Marghella for a furnace inspection, and the experience was solid. He arrived quickly and got straight to work, checking everything thoroughly. His demeanor was friendly and professional throughout. When we asked about something he wasn't sure of, he admitted it upfront and moved on - a refreshing honesty. He also took the time to explain how to adjust our thermostat, which was helpful to know.

We'd been putting off replacing our furnace and AC for as long as we could, but when our old furnace finally gave out, repairs were no longer feasible. That's when Fire and Ice stepped in to help. From the start, our interaction with Scott, our sales representative, was seamless - he presented us with options without being pushy at all.
The prices seemed reasonable, especially considering the scope of work involved. With temperatures plummeting this week, we needed a new furnace installed ASAP, which is exactly what Fire and Ice delivered. Two technicians arrived promptly to install our units and got the job done efficiently. The end result was impressive - I'm grateful for their professionalism and would wholeheartedly recommend them - an exceptional experience all around! -
I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care shown by Fire and Ice when dealing with a challenging issue. In an era where exceptional customer service feels like a rarity, this company truly stands out.
From my initial call to the final resolution, every interaction with Fire and Ice was characterized by genuine empathy and attentiveness. The team demonstrated a remarkable ability to listen without rushing me off the phone or treating me as just another case number.
The entire crew - from General Manager Annette to Service Manager Joe, and particularly Justin who played a pivotal role throughout the process - went above and beyond to ensure my concerns were heard and addressed. The technicians, Mike, Gabe, and Eric, were professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I felt comfortable each step of the way.
What's impressive is that this level of compassion extends from leadership to every tech in the field. In a world where great customer service feels like a luxury, Fire and Ice has shown me that it's still possible when leadership prioritizes real compassion. I never once felt like just another job - I felt truly valued.
I want to extend my gratitude to Annette, Joe, Justin, Mike, Gabe, Eric, and the entire Fire and Ice team for turning a stressful situation into an overwhelmingly positive one. They've earned a customer for life, and I'll be recommending them to everyone I know! -
I've stuck with Fire & Ice since 2014 when they replaced my entire system. Over the years, I consistently booked biannual maintenance appointments and even had them replace my hot water tank last year. However, it seems like their approach has shifted. They've stopped reaching out to me for regular PM services and missed two scheduled appointment windows despite having four-hour slots available. There's been no communication explaining the reason for these missed appointments until I reached out myself. It's concerning that they seem to be struggling with providing good service to loyal customers like me. Unfortunately, my experience has led me to advise others to look elsewhere for their HVAC needs.

The technician who came to my home, identified as Mitchell from Fire and Ice, is a shining example of someone who takes ownership of their work. When my furnace stopped working during the worst part of December, he quickly pinpointed not just the obvious problem but also the underlying electrical issue that had been causing trouble for months. What impressed me most was his unwillingness to accept "good enough" - instead of rushing off after fixing the initial issue, he took extra time to thoroughly inspect the fire vents and air quality system. This level of dedication is rare in a service technician, and it's clear that Mitchell truly cares about his customers' comfort and well-being. His work ethic reflects positively on Fire and Ice as an entire company, making them highly recommended for emergency situations like mine.

We had a decent experience with Tim, Alex, Lane, and Heath, who showed up promptly and acted professionally. What's frustrating is the pattern we're seeing here - our new AC unit was installed just over two years ago, but we've already had to call for techs multiple times in under a week. It's unacceptable that we have to constantly deal with frozen coils, turning off the unit, and calling for help every morning during our holiday weekend. Our holiday plans got completely derailed by this ongoing issue.
What's even more concerning is the lack of follow-through from management. Field Supervisor Heath was great, but he doesn't seem to know what's going on. He's moving up to a new role and I'm not sure if that will improve things. I spoke with Jared, the service manager, on Sunday, and he promised to see this through with us. However, I didn't hear back from him after leaving a message on Monday morning. It's disappointing to feel like our issues are being neglected.
