I randomly picked this co. from a google search and am happy to say I lucked out. I had a new furnace installed and was able to get an appt. quickly. I specifically want to mention Chad, JP, Justin, Josh, Nick, Travis and Gage, and hope I didn’t leave anyone out. What a great bunch of guys - they knew what they were doing and were super considerate. I trusted them completely. I’m also impressed by the amount of follow-up by Tim A. after the install to make sure all was well. I plan to call on them for any future needs.

Great service! Very reasonably priced. The repairman was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things in great detail. He helped answer all of my questions. They were available the same day that I called to come out and it was New Years Eve! I had called at least ten other big name furnace repair companies around the area, all of them were out of office or had emergency after-hours service fees. Some of the big name companies couldn't come out for 3 or 4 days. I highly recommend Fairfield-Hamilton Heating and Cooling!

Ben was awesome and was straight forward with me on my 20 year old unit. I am glad he came out and gave my estimate to replace even on Easter.

We ended up in a situation where our 18 year old gas furnace needed a part that was almost 1/2 the cost of a new install - we called Five Star and they confirmed what we already knew without us even telling them. They presented a great opportunity for us to upgrade our furnace to a 2016 model, High end, Amana. They handled the financing - all digital - reviewed and signed all the docs on my phone at the kitchen counter and was done with the paperwork and approved in less than 10 min. Next day install - they were here for about 8 hours time and replaced everything related to the furnace - pipework - everything - cleaned up the entire job and we had HEAT again during this super cold storm of 2022. Highly recommended - extremely professional - answered ALL my questions on the spot - even the ones during the install. I haven't been impressed by a company like this in a LONG time. Go with them - no doubts. Professional - Can't say enough. Our new system came with a 10 year parts AND LABOR warranty which is basically unheard of in this industry. Go for it!

If you read my review completely, you'd note that I didn't receive the email paperwork on the agreement until well AFTER the technician left my house - AFTER I received INCORRECT INFORMATION from him verbally. This is NOT GOOD SERVICE. I understand your 4-hour window, but I blocked out my work schedule the entire morning for him; he got to my house 10 minutes before the window was over and was there for over an hour, probably fixing something that didn't really need to be fixed for all I know. And now I'm stuck with a bill with a company I no longer want to deal with. Obviously, I'm not going to cancel and be out of pocket $300 for nothing. If you're interested in listening to feedback and improving your business, perhaps do a better job of informing your technicians of your terms so they properly communicate it to customers so no one else is misled. It's disingenuous to do otherwise.

We highly recommend 5 Star Services. They were at our house within a couple hours after we called them for an A/C repair. Jeff, the tech, diagnosed the problem and offered us several options. Since our HVAC was 23 years old, we decided to just replace the whole thing. Jeff gave us an excellent price and had a crew out the next day for the install. They were very friendly, conscientious and professional. Nothing but praise for these guys.

Do not use these crooks. AC went out so had them come out. Charged me a $100 “analyzing” fee just to come out, eyeball the unit, and tell us that we needed to replace it. Also, removed my air filter which wasn’t even 2 weeks old and told us it needed to be replaced too and just left the air box empty.

Called another smaller company to come out for 2nd opinion. Uncovered that the unit was overcharged and needed a new capacitor. $150 to do both on the spot. Tech from smaller company told us the unit still has 3-4 years left in its lifespan. Saved us thousands.

Save yourself money and find a small company that does honest work.

Jesse and Corey did a great job of installing a new mini- split system. They put down drop cloths to start, and cleaned up afterwards. They put down unit works well.

Easy to schedule, great communication from the company about the appointment. Technician was professional and efficient. We were happy with the service we received and would recommend, as well as use, this company again.

The Tech. Nick was knowledgeable and professional. We needed a repair done, but he was thorough in evaluating our whole system. We had a very "no pressure" conversation about some upgrades I could do, but there was no push. He was fine with just doing the repair.
I appreciated his insight and suggestions and felt even better about his approach.
I scheduled the appointment at 10 am and there were here by 4 on we were up and running by 5:30.

Out with the old and in with the new! Our heat pump was aroiginal to our house when we bought it 5 years ago. Being from 1988 we knew it was living on borrowed time. After dumping a hundreds of dollars i to the old system to keep it running we decided to start getting quotes to replace it. We got it quotes through several companies before deciding do go with five star. The customer service at Five Star Home Services was next to none! From the initial inquiry to the estimate/sales process to the install! Everyone that i dealt with was extremely professional and respectful. Being a tradesman myself I was very particular with who I chose and I'm very glad that I chose Five star! I would give more stars if I could!

Brandon was professional, explained what he was included white my service after asking me questions about the history of our furnace. Did complete tuneup and diagnostics then shared the results. Made a couple common sense suggestions and we will have him return to perform a blower pull out and clean to increase airflow of our 25 year old furnace . We also discussed new system recommendations and I found Brandon very knowledgeable and reasonable about not trying to upsell, no pressure. I like that approach. He let me know about 5 stars’ plumbing services and I scheduled for a plumber to come out for an evaluation on a few jobs I have in mind. Very impressed.
