Mike was very thorough and took time to explain everything to me. we appreciated his advice with our situation and would definitely request him for any future issues.

Technician arrived on site, noticed how old our unit was (which we knew would need replaced in the very near future) and instead of trying to find the root cause of our issue to get us up and going for the meantime, he was trying to sell us a new system. Technician wasn’t really confident of the issue, so we just paid for the service call. Went ahead and called and got another HVAC company to come out and give us a second opinion. Their technician arrived and within 20-30 mins, he had found the problem and diagnosed further to make sure nothing else was wrong and got us all repaired and fixed up and didn’t once try to upsell us.

Long story short — I won’t be calling Lancaster Furnace & Air or any “Five Star Home Services” company.

Serviceman Matt was very friendly and helpful! He informed me of all the issues/problems and explained options very clearly as well as estimates. The service call was efficient and clean. I am very happy I found five star home services and they have 24 hours service with an actual person to talk and answer questions. Highly recommend!!!
Update: I recently had a new toilet installed and some water pipe repair done in my basement from a small leak. All servicemen were thorough, took their time during the repair process and gave excellent explainations of all services being completed. Again, I'm very pleased with Five Star and would and have recommended them highly!

Brandon Morgan was a great communicator, upbeat, professional and knowledgeable. He forwarded our needs to the next technician and took pictures to pass on to facilitate the best transition! Thank you Brandon for be exactly what we needed!!

The installation of our new HVAC system today went amazing. Our old system was 29 years old, still worked, but acting a little wonky lately. Everything now works so well and we extremely happy and satisfied! They also did a great job of cleaning up after they were done!

I was charged a service call for the tech to set the cooling fan speed parameters to the correct value, after I paid over $8000 dollars for a new furnace and new thermostat three months ago. Setting ALL the functions of the HVAC system to the correct value is part of installing a new furnace. If they have not all been verified as correct, THE INSTALL IS NOT COMPLETE!! The company sent a text asking me how things went, shortly after the tech departed my house. Despite that text claiming they want to “make it right” if my experience was anything other than 5-stars, there has been zero response from the company to my text reply.

Had both of our Furnace and Hot Water Heater replaced by Five Star Heating and Cooling. Jerrick Zeigler Five Star HVAC Lead Installer did an outstanding job installing our new furnace. He kept me informed throughout the process of the installation and thoroughly answered all my questions. Brian Quintana the Plumbing Service Tech who installed our Hot Water Heater did the same level of outstanding service as Jerrick. Very pleased with Five Star.

Same day service on a Holiday weekend, was able to find our issue, repair it & got us up & running with wonderfully cool air in no time at all!!! He was a good dude. Left me alone and did his thing because that’s what I wanted. He communicated what he was doing at beginning and then at the end. The maintenance part I have no idea of telling, cause only time will time tell with that, but I think all is good.

Great customer service! Answered all my concerns was here in a timely manor- not at the last minute like alot of service workers end up being - when they said arrival was between 8- 12 ..he had called at 830 and was here in 30 min !!

Honestly the tech was fine. But the prices are ridiculous. The parts would have been under 3000 and was quoted 8000 total for repairs. It’s a few hours job. I quoted prices at retail online to come up with 3000. And that’s a maximum. No way the quote should have been that high. By the time the tech left he was at 6000 and asking me to give him a number. People that are paying what they ask should be protected from this price gouging. I know you will delete this review before it goes anywhere but I will post other places.

Noah was great with trying to explain the problems with our fan. Although it seems to be an intermittent thing, he said it could fail at any time during this heat and recommended replacing the fan motor. He ordered it and will be installed next week. Excellent service all together!!!

Alex and Bill did great work installing our new furnace, AC unit, and mini-split in the sunroom. They were friendly and efficient. All the guys were professional and knew their jobs well. They did a good job cleaning up the mess, too. Thanks Five Star guys!
