Had a slow shower and sink drain so I called Roto-Rooter. I was quoted $3,000-$6,000 by roto-rooter after the guy tried to snake it unsuccessfully. He said I needed to re-pipe it and cut into the ceiling in the basement and it sounded like a huge job. I called Jim at Oceanus and asked him to come look for a second opinion before starting any work. Turns out, Roto-rooter wasn’t even looking at the right stack and the job didn’t require cutting into my ceiling or walls at all! Jim found the correct stack, tried to snake it (also unsuccessfully), then added a clean out and completed the snake to free up the drain. All in, Oceanus charged my under $600! HIGHLY RECOMMEND JIM & OCEANUS!! He SAVED ME THOUSANDS of dollars!!

Had a clogged toilet. After tackling the job right away it became evident that it was more than a simple clogged toilet. A large mass was found causing the total obstruction of the drainage pipe. The technician was able to dislodge the mass and thus cleared the pipe. John was very professional and knowledgeable of his trade. I recommend Oceanus for all your plumbing needs.

Jon was very professional, efficient and knew his stuff. He diagnosed our problem and replaced the toilet very speedy. Cleaned up after himself. We will definitely use them again when needed and will tell others to use them as well! Very satisfied!

I had a gurgling drain and a overflowing downspout outside that froze solid. I used Thumbtack for an estimate. Within 2 minutes Oceanus replied with an information message. I called them for a free inspection and estimate. Mike answered the call immediately. He was as professional as they come. He set me up for an appointment for the next day and had Jon on the jobsite as promised. Jon as well was just as professional and pleasantly at home to deal with. He thoroughly explained how the drains worked in the house and then provided a written estimate. Mike and Jon's professionalism, courtesy, kindness and no pressure honesty made it an easy decision to have the work done. I seriously doubt that I could have been handled any better by any other company. I admitted to Jon, that if I had attempted the repair, I would have not gave have the effort he put into the work. He was very thorough in completing the task. Great job guys. Keep up with what you both do so well. I can't recommend them enough!

Such a great company. We've found our plumber finally after shopping around. They are priced competitively. They communicate well and with kindness. I've had 3 different plumbers from the company over and they are all professional and kind. It's obvious they are knowledgeable which makes them trustworthy.

We were having problems with our main stack pipe in our 60+ yr old home and the drain plumbing from the upstairs bathroom. We were given an estimate including a worst case scenario of digging up a portion of the basement floor and time frame of 3 days. Jim was spot on with his estimate. Jon got all the work done in 3 days as promised. So very grateful to Mike, Jim and Jon for their honesty, superb workmanship and professionalism. Highly recommended!

These guys are the best!!! The day they came to replace our water heater we had a major snowstorm. Yet they were on time and completed the work within 3 hours. Courteous, respectful of time and did a great clean up. You wouldn't have known any work was done. I would highly recommend Oceanus for any plumbing work you need! Jim, John and Mike are knowledgeable, efficient, courteous and quick to respond and assess the problem. They are honest and explain different solutions to your issue. They helped update 100 year old plumbing and water jet old clay drainage tile that had some nasty roots causing a backup. Much respect to them.

I had a flooded crawl space (1 ft water) under my house due to tree root encroachment at multiple levels in my sewer drain. To make a long story short, I had a few other companies and a couple friends fail me on jetting out this drain which in turn caused a major back up. I was referred to Oceanus. Oceanus came out and completely jetted out all of the encroachments from the sewer access at the sidewalk and used their camera to make sure it was clean. These drains have never drained so freely in the 10 yrs I've lived here as they do now. Their employee Jon came out and got to work. He did a phenomenal job. I am so grateful that he is so knowledgeable and took his time to make sure he got every blockage. I will recommend Oceanus Plumbing to everyone. Overnight, the flooding totally subsided and disappeared overnight. I am so thankful and grateful that they cared enough to help me out.

I submitted a request on Thumbtack to have a plumber come out and take a look at a leak from my hot water tank. Within seconds of submitting the request Oceanus reached out. I called to schedule service and they accommodated me on the same day. Jon came out. SUPER friendly, super personable guy! He looked at the unit, found the leak, told me the cost to repair it (very reasonable), and was in and out in ten minutes. I called the next day because I smelled gas in the same vicinity and Jon detoured from his way home to swing by and check it out. Turns out there was a loose fastener on my brand new furnace. He tightened it at no charge, all with a smile on his face. I would recommend Oceanus (and Jon) anytime. I definitely will choose them again!
