I contacted Urus Sewer and Drains for an emergency plumbing issue at 10pm. They arrived promptly the next day to repair the issue. Their work is impeccable. These 2 beautiful young men were so kind, courteous and professional. I would recommend them highly. They came ready to work, finished promptly and cleaned up after themselves. I'm so happy and I thank them very much .

Joe and Harrison came out right away after I called and diagnosed the puddle in my interior waterproofed basement as a failed old grinder sump pump which they replaced. I also wanted them to replace a 2’ section of clay tile in the sewer line which I knew periodically filled with roots (and it was PACKED). They were able to get all this finished the day after I got the estimate despite running into surprises. So I had two disasters averted and was so glad they came out right away. Other things they did: My old house had a stack pipe patched (much too disruptive and expensive to replace), and the stack going into the upstairs toilet fixed and a sink trap cut open to clean out(all the piping was glued together.) Also, Joe installed a bidet. The huge cost was very reasonable, even great, for all they did and I appreciated what they did to make things workable that I couldn’t afford to replace. They were punctual, knowledgeable, kind, personable
and lighthearted—which was much appreciated in the circumstances! And unfortunately I’ll be seeing them again—they told me reluctantly on the last day they had found that the sewer line pipe that went 20’ from my house to where they made the sewer line repair was a composite fiber pipe (which probably includes asbestos) invented in WWll to save iron. It can’t be identified by a camera. It collapses at about 50 years….

Thank you Urus Sewer and Drain! We are remodeling our kitchen and noticed the sink pipes filled up with years of grease and sludge. Harrison came out the next day and was able to unclog the drains quickly preventing any issues in the future! He was friendly and knowledgeable about the work being done and even took the time to educate us on how the system works throughout our home!

We had such a great experience with Urus Sewer and Drain! They were incredibly responsive and got someone out to our house so quickly. Joe was absolutely wonderful — knowledgeable, kind, and patient in answering all my questions. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process easy and stress-free. We’ll definitely use Urus Sewer and Drain again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, professional service!

Our adventure with Urus began at the end of October. Throughout the entire process the team were professional and highly responsive. Anytime there was a change I was made aware of it right away. We had them replace a section of our sewer. As soon as we were able to break ground the process seemed to go easier than getting there (permits and such). I also have three kids and a dog who were all too eager for the temporary extra people around the house and the big equipment that was brought. The kids were treated with the same respect as us and the dog with pampering pats. Please consider them or give them a call with your sewer/drain needs if they can help, they will.

Great experience & Great team work on identifying the problem, giving real advice, and true knowledge of the situation about pipes being frozen & how my system is setup. They gave me up front standard price at first along with a military discount quote. They went to work, identified the problem, figured out my complicated kitchen pipes having well & septic system and figured out where the pipes run. Unfortunately a fix could not be done today and no fault of there’s because they truly tried, but only due to the extreme cold temperatures and how my pipes run. Instead of doing extreme damage or over quoting prices for the fix. Advice was given on temporary work arounds until some of this snow melts and temps rise a little more. I thanked them and asked how much it comes to and I was met with a thank you for your service. I responded thank you for your support and asked again I appreciate the help and knowledge and again asked how much does it come to and they responded again with another thank you for your service & stay warm & we are sorry we could not do more as they slowly walked away. Me in disbelief they took 0 payment when many others would jump on the opportunity of a payment. Instead they showed Grace, kindness, & knowledge. They are dedicated, knowledgeable, & hard working. I will not make another call to any other plumber other than this team next time. Highly recommend.

Our down spout underground drain was blocked and we called Roto -Rooter for service. The service technician came out, located the problem and worked until it was resolved. If we need service again, we will call Roto-Rooter.

Ethan from Roto-Rooter did a great job clearing my exterior downspout and drains. He thoroughly explained the procedure and assured me that Roto-Rooter has a 6 month guarantee if their work didn’t solve my drainage problem.

UPDATE: Since writing this review the company has called to resolve the matter. Hence the change from 1 star to 4. The resolution was fair and involved paying for the PRV as that part cannot be returned and a basic service fee that would have fixed the original problem.

Our home experienced a persistent whistling sound from the main bathroom. A technician from the company came out, heard the sound, and immediately attributed it to the pressure-reducing valve (PRV). He went to the basement but admitted he didn’t have a pressure gauge to confirm the diagnosis. Despite no other symptoms—no water hammer, pressure issues, or expansion tank problems—the PRV was replaced at a cost of $800.

After the repair, the whistling persisted during testing. The technician left but had to be called back since the issue was unresolved. During the second visit, the same technician heard the sound again, checked the bathroom, and diagnosed the issue as a faulty toilet fill valve, quoting $200 for the repair. I expressed concerns and declined the service. After the technician left, I adjusted the height of the fill valve myself, and the whistling stopped.

Before leaving, the technician assured me someone from the company would contact me about adjusting the charges. Despite multiple follow-up calls and emails, I have received no response. This experience reflects a lack of proper troubleshooting and customer service. Homeowners should be cautious of unnecessary repairs and incomplete diagnostics.

I was hoping to resolve the issue with Roto Rooter, sadly it seems they just want to ignore my concerns. Save yourself the troubles and find a different plumbing service.

Tyler did a great job he was able to find the obstruction and clear it out . . . He was very polite and conscientious . . . The project will be completed tomorrow as the manager will come out and run a camera through the tile and give us a report on wether we have field tile or plastic.
I would not hesitate to call on Roto Rooter in the future.

Joe L and Corey P came by to our home that we recently purchased. We knew there was a problem with the sump pump that needed to be addressed, but they had discovered a much worse issue we had with our sewer system. They walked us through every step of the process and thoroughly explained what issues we had and what options were available. There was no pressure to jump on this job with them even given how serious the problem was. I know a lot of people can appreciate that, and I certainly do.

The first service technician that came to my home was professional and thorough in explaining what needed done, how it would be done, what it would cost. The second technician who returned to my home was rude, trying to sell me product, and wasn't honoring the warranty for service calls 9 days apart and for the same problem. He did call to tell me he was running late and wanted to reschedule for the next day. However that was not an option since water would have continued to run all over my wood floor kitchen. As technicians do these days he covered his shoes to protect my floors but went half way to his truck before taking them off and put them on at my dirty porch. When he preceeded to repair my pipe (without honoring the warranty) he assured me he would be thorough and clean up his mess. There was crude from not only the pipe he pulled apart but from his dirty shoes and equipment outside the sink cavity. I got down on.my hands and knees while he watched me clean it up. (I'm 72 years old) There were paper towels readily available right there. So much for the promise of cleaning up after himself it was as good as the warranty. I know others have had good experiences and this might have been if the technician wasn't angry 😡 about coming out anyway when he wanted to put it off and schedule the next day. His other calls were making him run late. I guess you can say I'm angry to for promises not kept.

I can't say enough good things about this business. From the call center to technicians. This crew specifically (Tyler, chase 2.0, and corey). Called earlier than the appointment which was greatly appreciated, were prompt, clean, informative, and so patient. They were able to make the situation usable and schedule additional services quickly. Highly recommend this company. I've used them several times in the past and every time has been this quality of service. Thank you!

Excellent service from Ethan, the Service Technician. He arrived at scheduled time, explained what he was doing throughout the repairs, and when repairs were completed, he showed me what he had done. He is a fine technician and my recommendation is that you give him a raise!!! Thank you.

Communication was great! Tyler did a great job and was extremely professional. He explained all of our options without trying to upsell. There is a reason Roto-Rooter has been in business so long.

Tyler and his assistant were very professional in disconnecting my kitchen stove from the gas line and capping the line, as I had requested. Throughout the process, Tyler demonstrated his knowledge of plumbing standards and kept me informed about the work being done. They completed this work with excellent attention to detail, and for a reasonable price.
