They were out in 20 minutes! He knew what was wrong in 5 minutes. Jeremy fixed my capacitor and explained what happened. My A/C was up and running within a hour! Very professional. They have a new lifetime customer.

I'm a relatively savvy individual, so this may not apply to everyone. They walked me through taking apart the faceplate feeding the igniter for my furnace, cleaned off a few pieces and restored proper airflow and BAM working heat again. THAT is service. They weren't fishing for money, they were helping restore heat to my home. Awesome chatting with their tech, personable, knowledgeable, professional. Service means a lot to me and these guys have it.

I can't believe a company would come out at 2 in the morning but they did! Brian was fast friendly and reasonably priced.Saved me and my family from having no heat in below zero weather. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone thank you so much!

I was having a problem with my high limit switch on my furnace. I called the main number and Brian promptly called from his cell phone. Without any charge or even coming out to my house, he gave me troubleshooting instructions (how to reset the limit switches). I went down and did as he said and I'm up and running! I've permanently found my HVAC guy in Toledo!

Have a Lennox furnace that was short cycling on a Sunday after New Year’s Day. Gave me suggestions to try first and ended up fixing the furnace. Honesty and helpfulness saved me an emergency call out. They have earned my business in the future. Can not thank them enough!

I found Brian searching online and spoke with him about my furnace, one of those huge old gravity heat systems that was probably installed over 75 years ago.

He came out, nearly crawled into the monster in the basement, and got it up and running and he didn't even charge me for the visit He also gave me a great quote on putting in a new heating system.

I'm looking forward to having him upgrade my heating system.

Brian came out today and fixed my heat in about 20 min. Much better service than I've experienced with another local company in the past. I'll definitely be calling him in the future!

Awesome service!! Every time I have issues with my work place's AC, Brian makes sure he tries to come out as soon as possible. We appreciate his services and his business here at LUSH.. and will be continuing to do business with them in the future. They're very nice people!

I've been calling every single day for 3 days for a service call with this company telling me they will contact me asap, and nobody ever contacted me. I like to support small local businesses and the reviews all seemed great and said this company was honest, so I decided to go with them. I know it's a busy time of year, but it would be nice to at least get a phone call back letting me know a time frame or something.

I found Brian online randomly since i had a problem with my rental property and was unable to go out and take a look at it myself. The AC unit wasnt blowing strong or cold enough. He went out to my house checked the unit and found that there was a switch on the furnace the tenant had switched that turned the AC to Low. He fixed the problem and charged me $0. In this day and age its very hard to find a trust worthy handy man, i highly recommend Brian and would use him again.

Polite and prompt and very reasonable price! I called for a routine repair to one of the pumps on my hot water radiator system. Brian came out the next afternoon as promised, was pleasant and professional, diagnosed the problem in a few minutes, and made quick, clean work of it. The price was very reasonable as well. Will use them again for certain!

I called at 7:30am on a sunday morning because the furnace wouldn't turn on and received the answering service. Brain called me back before I could put my phone down which was first surprise. He explained right away that sundays are extra so that it was clear before making an appointment, which I appreciated. He arrived promptly at the time we set. Figured out the issue, had the $30 part on his truck and we had heat within 35minutes of him arriving!! I would recommend him to everyone looking for reasonable prices and excellent customer service!

I called Brian out in February after dealing with another local guy 4 times in 1 month, with no resolution. Brian came out and confirmed what I thought, and had been telling the other guy, that the circuit board appeared to be bad. He replaced and all was fixed. A few weeks ago, October, I came back from vacation to cooler weather, turned up my furnace, and the same issues were occuring and my furnace would not kick on.
Called Brian, he came out, he thought the circuit board was bad. Ordered a new one, installed it and the new one works great. I was hoping he wouldn't charge me but feared there was a short warranty and I'd have to pay again. Nope!!! Not only did he not charge me for the new circuit board, he didn't charge me for the 2 house calls either! That's great customer service and complete customer satisfaction! Thanks Brian!

I had been struggling with my furnace for several days and had reached the day of a Halloween party, when I finally forced to call in for help. Brian Johns talked to me on the phone, and then moved to text for ease of sharing photos and communication, and in the process of doing so, walked me through the required steps to finally fix my furnace with simple instructions. I was incredibly grateful and readily offered to write a review to thank him for his help. I'll admit I'm a little late, but I intend to make good.

EDIT**** We called Honest Abe's when our AC went out, was told the tech checked all the lines and cleaned out the box. AC still wasn't functioning right, so same tech comes back says box is clean, lines are intact, must be the thermostat. At this point I felt I needed a second opinion, other company's tech comes out and says box is filthy, lines are cracked and box is 20 years old....what?? Super thrilled I paid for service that wasn't completed on a box that they should have recognized was on its last leg. Don't call these guys, while they're friendly, the job just isn't done well like it was when Brian owned it.****

I've had this company out before to service my a/c-furnace. As always, service was quick, the repairman was polite, knowledgeable and didn't try to oversell services that weren't yet necessary. I will always call Honest Abe's (the business' new name) first.

Amazing customer service! We just purchased a house that had a heating and air conditioning system installed by Brian Johns Inc. so when we had a question about it I called them. The gentleman walked me through possible issues over the phone and had me send him a few pictures of our system. He was able to trouble shoot the problem completely over the phone and we were back up and running! I will recommend them to everyone!

Great service all around, from the person answering the phone to the gentleman who came out and fixed my furnace issue. The repairman Rick diagnosed the problem and replaced the pump. He also gave the whole furnace a look over and made quick fixes as needed. He made sure I knew how to maintain it going forward and recommended I buy a carbon monoxide detector just to be on the safe side. I will definitely call Brian Johns, Inc. in the future.

It took a few times calling to get through to answering service- but had a call back within 15 minutes! Brian was able to get here less than an hour after I called! Granted I was lucky enough he was leaving a site near me. He was quick and polite. Repair on my a/c was completed quickly and fairly priced. I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

They were great! After Action Heating & Cooling tried to scam us for over $3k making me feel highly uncomfortable, we called Brian John's. Our furnace has stopped blowing hot air. Brian John's was so professional, caring and kind. They told us we infact did NOT need a new furnace and ducts like Action Heating told us but instead just needed to clean a pin in the furnace that became dusty and showed us how to do it. Immediately we had hot air again and no issues since. Very reasonably priced, knowledgeable and compassionate. A+
