The owner Daniel came for a service call to change my A/C compressor and while putting everything back together, he popped a fuse and ruined my Nest E Learning thermostat. He never admitted his wrongdoing but insisted there was something wrong with circuit board which was to cost me over $150 in parts alone. He stated he would follow up on ordering the parts but never called me back.

Weather was in the high 80s-90+degrees that week my AC was not functioning so I contacted another company Service Air Technology and within 5 minutes of arrival, the rep concluded my circuit board was functioning as it should and the issue was just a $3 fuse that was popped. They stated the wiring was installed incorrectly but they corrected it and installed a basic thermostat and I never took having AC for granted after that.

I contacted Daniel again to update him on the issue as to get compensated for the other service call or the cost for my Nest thermostat, he again refused to admit any wrongdoing and was unwilling to compensate for anything.

So now I'm out a few hundred bucks between the call for the other tech along with my Nest thermostat. Daniel seem like a good guy but not very competent.

While I have not worked with Heating & Cooling Doctors professional with HVAC services, I can acknowledge the level of professionalism Daniel operates with. He is a commensurate professional and I would recommend anyone do business with him on their HVAC needs

We have a tankless water heater. Field mice got into it & chewed the wiring causing a shortage in the main board. Another company gave a min starting quote of $1,800 for repair and no guarantee of maximum.
That same company quoted $5K min. for a new unit which didn't include labor.

Daniel and his team installed a brand new unit, corrected an error with the intake & exhaust pipes caused by the original HVAC installer, and Daniel also created covers for the pipes to prevent mice from getting in again. All of this was done for $2,800.00. They were responsive, professional and it was a huge relief not having a surprise with the quote & final price.

Heating and cooling doctors have been great to work with! We used them to install and entire ductless mini-split system in our garage. They have been back a few times to help and each time they are professional, super helpful, and full resolved the issue at hand. Cannot recommend them more.

I chose H&C Docs based off 2 referrals and I couldn't be more pleased. Daniel came with a consultative approach, not a pressure sale, his team was on-time and clean! The guys did a fantastic job installing both a heater and an AC unit. Highly recommend!!!

I had an issue with my furnace recently. Decided to give the heating and cooling doctors a call since they helped me months prior with my air conditioner. I called in the late afternoon/early evening and Daniel was so accommodating he had a technician come out early the next morning. Both Daniel and his staff were incredibly pleasant to deal with. They took their time to explain the issue and remedy the problem. This is the second time I've used them and I'd happily do business with them again. A great friendly service focused local business I'm happy to support and so will you.

Daniel and his technicians did a fantastic job installing our all new HVAC system. The equipment is high quality and the installers were very professional and courteous. I feel we got very good value for our money and would recommend the Heating & Cooling Doctors to anyone in the market.

I consider myself lucky to have had the services of this company. They installed a brand new AC unit and thermostat in one of my investment homes in Columbus. Daniel took care of my installation as if it were his own home. He made incredible recommendations to help keep my AC unit secure due to the area that my property was located. Not only is this company and Daniel pure professionals in every sense of the word, his crew of workers were very polite and respectful. Daniel gave me his personal cell to make sure everything would be in tip top shape with my new unit before we sold the house to it’s new owner. To give you an example of the level of customer service you can expect, our contractor had accidentally shut off our AC unit and we had no idea how to turn it back on. We were to put the house on the market the very next day. Even though the company was booked solid for weeks, Daniel personally came out to fix the issue. Daniel was a referral from a friend and I couldn't be more satisfied with the whole experience. They installed a new furnace for me. Justin and Beau, his installation team, were very professional, cleaned up at the end of the job, and had great attitudes towards their work. The overall project price was less that I expected so that was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again if the need arose. They exceeded my expectations with both the overall product and their installation.

They helped me all the way with my house insurance getting it to cover what needs to get my heat on. When I need to change time they worked with me. The tech Trent took time to explain everything to me so I knew what was wrong. He let his company know what he needed and they was on it. He was very professional with the whole process to get heat on.

Cory Ryan is absolutely wonderful. He is kind and caring about any issues or questions I may have. You can tell that he enjoys his work and the results show his pride! He explains everything in a way that I can understand and is always courteous of time! He is fast but efficient! That is very important to me. I wish Cory could be my technician every time!! Doug and Jeremy from Dor-Mar did an outstanding job. They worked tirelessly to remove our old (1960s era) HVAC system and install a brand new one. We’re so happy to have a working system again. They took care to ensure everything was done correctly and their attention to detail was impressive. They were meticulous during clean-up and we are thrilled with the result. They also took the time to teach me about the system and ensure I was 100% satisfied.

David with Dor-Mar was fantastic. Our furnace stopped working overnight when the temps were dipping below zero. We called Atlas Butler and had a technician come out. The technician looked at the furnace for 10 minutes and then tried to sell me on a complete replacement saying that all the metal in my furnace was rusted and had holes throughout the pipes in the unit. The technician also said that the unit was probably leaking carbon monoxide into the house. We then contacted Dor-Mar for a second opinion and David was at our house in just a few hours. David took his time and ran a full diagnostic test on the furnace and actually diagnosed the problems rather than just telling me to spend thousands on a new unit. David gave me options on what the best course of action would be with the furnace and took time to answer all my questions. He also ran tests and proved that the unit was not rusted and full of holes like the other technician stated and that there was NOT carbon monoxide leaking into the house. David also gave us an estimate and Dor-Mar was able to give us a much better price than the other business. David and Dor-Mar made us feel cared for, rather than just another sale like the other company. We would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them in the future.

Preston came out and gave a thorough check of my furnace and AC to make sure everything was Duncan’s working properly for the new homeowners

We have used Dor Mar in our last three homes, sense 2000. They have always had professional trustworthy contractors. Tim came yesterday to do our regular maintenance and explained why we need to replace the 18-year-old furnace in the condo that we bought two years ago. We knew it was going, and now it’s time. Tim was timely, great communication, personable and informed us of estimates and scheduling. In addition, Stacy was very helpful in explaining the 18 months same as cash through Synchrony Bank. We have recommended Dor-Mar to all of our friends and highly recommend their very professional services. They have never let us down!

Dave Atha did an excellent job on troubleshooting my A/C unit problem. He was systematic, logical, very efficient and explained to me what was going on. Highly recommended and I am very happy with his service.

This was our annual furnace inspection which went smooth he had a thorough report and was in and out quickly. It says Dor Mar Westerville, however i live in Newark, both locations are great I’m sure!

Trent was outstanding! A complete professional! He diagnosed the issue and was honest and clear with communication and provided several options. The the DorMar office team was also the A team. The two gentlemen that showed up my house to work on my air conditioner were very knowledgeable, very helpful, and handled everything in a professional and exceptional manner. I would like to have these gentlemen back as often as possible so that I have a set of technicians who know my system and are the ones who take care of it.

The only thing I need now is to get time scheduled for my electronic air cleaner to be installed that I've been told would been done twice now. In the past year. I was told that I wouldn't need to call in that they would put it in the notes and that the people who do the scheduling would be getting hold of me.

Outside of that, I'm extremely happy that I have the company taking care of my system and I am looking forward to working with them for years to come
