CL Electric provided us with excellent service at a reasonable price! Our air conditioner went out due to an electrical issue in the middle of the miserable heat dome, and they came out quickly to get it fixed. They also helped us with some canless lights we’ve had trouble with. We will definitely use them for our electrical needs in the future!

Bought a new construction home. CL Electric was the initial installer. Had them put some additional lights in the home because the lighting wasn't well distributed (shadows in corners, dark when the lights were on, etc). To their credit, they did install some can lights to fix that problem. The start of the issues were they tried to tell me that a 3-way remote ceiling fan would leave me with 2 dead switches. This is not correct. A remote ceiling fan should only ever have 1 dead switch. With a bit of back and forth, they came out and fixed it. Another issue I found out after they installed the additional can lights, is they did not clean up any of their mess. They left large messes where the lights were installed (wire, shielding, wire nuts, sheet rock). The biggest issue was that they installed the guest bathroom light switch practically against the back wall near the mirror, underneath the hand towel holder, which is not normal. When you walk in a bathroom, you should be able to reach around the corner and hit the switch. I've had every person that walks in the guest bathroom have to ask me where the switch is. I asked about it afterwards and found out someone had pulled their wire during the build process and they felt it was too much of a headache to re-run it so they installed it where the wire would reach instead of where it should be. I'm planning to call a different company out this summer to move quite a few receptacles and switches in more appropriate positions.

I absolutely had to post this review. I received an estimate from a local (well known) electrical company. The estimate to fix my breaker panel from the first company was just about $10,000. Fortuntaley, I do a faiir bit of remodeling so I knew it was way too high. I then asked someone for a referral and received Chris's name at CL Electric. I even shared the ridiculous quote with CL Electric. They came out the next day and fixed everything for $800. I know it sounds ridiculous but this is no exaggeration. The other company had also quoted me another $9,000 to install some lights. When I told them I would provide the lights they reduced the quote by $4000. I purchased the lights I needed off of Amazon for a whopping $86. The markup from the other electric company was almost $4,000. They wanted another $5300 for the installation which CL Electric is doing for under $1000. I saved $15,000 by ditching the frist quote and hiring Chris and CL Electric. Even though they knew how much their competitor was trying to charge me they came in at a fair rate. Can't recommend highly enough.

Sometimes I have to call in the pros and calling Owens was a great decision. Jack and Tim figured out the problems, added a few things I wanted, and it works great. Would recommend and we'll use again if needed for future work.
