Wate came through my neighborhood a few months ago. Ion Solar makes this process simple, takes care of all the paperwork and inspections. They moved me quickly through the process to generating power! They are attentive to any questions and very helpful.

ION solar are great to work with! From our first meeting with their sales rep, all the way to the installed panels everything went smoothly!

They did a tremendous job and were very professional and quick with the install process. Our rep Sean P. was amazing and helpful from the beginning!

Right off the bat, interactions with ION were bad. 3 salesman showed up to my door and started pressing me on building a report for how ION could save me money. 3v1 didn't feel fair, and I felt pressured to agree. They said they'd "drop off the report" a few days later.

When that day came, they missed the scheduled time, then texted that they couldn't just drop off the report because they were "still learning the system" and that they needed to come sit down and talk through it on an iPad.
1) I didn't agree to let them in my house.
2) I agree to getting a report dropped off, which I assumed would give me all the information I need to make an educated decision.
3) Sitting down with a salesman in real-time is asking to be misled; salesman are not honest.

So, I told them to forget it and to discard the report. I'm not willing to work with a company that's sales model is high-pressure situations.

Since then, I've now gotten 4 phone calls about that report. Every time they call, I tell them I'm not interested, and they won't take that for an answer. They press it further, saying "well, did you get a chance to see the report?" and I tell them again that I'm not interested.

On the most recent call I got, I asked them to remove me from their call list altogether, and they said that they can't do that but that they'll make a note on my account. I asked to speak to someone who could delete my account, and that guy was rude and short. I'm not convinced that they have deleted my account, and they are probably going to continue calling me, and will likely sell my contact information to make a quick buck, which I did not agree to.

This is an awful, AWFUL company to interact with, and I didn't even buy their product.

Process was very smooth with our sales rep Ryan Schoen being available during the entire process. We finished well ahead of schedule completing the process in only 2 weeks and the install in 1 day! They even handled our HOA and all permitting for us.

My experience has been a nightmare. Took almost a year for my panels to be operational, still have inspections not passed because they can't do their work right. Terrible situation all around. I've spent more time and energy with this crap than I'll ever save. Spend your money elsewhere.

Everything professionally done, well planned, and amazing to see completed. We enjoyed all the Ion workers, who were kind enough to answer our questions.

Installers that arrived for my installation were very knowledgeable and very thorough concerning the job at hand. I would recommend Ion for installation of solar if any person was in the market. They completely met my expectations.

Biggest scam ever mostly with the loan company they work with we are unable to sell the house until finish paying off the loan we had advise them that we are a military family we are always constantly moving yet they kept saying it be fine if we had to sell that it wasn’t an issue when it is one. Don’t even bother with getting solar hardly saved anything on the light bill. WORST INVESTMENT EVER

My rep Dan Blankenship in Portland was easy to work with, responsive my text, and quick to get me from door knock to install. I compared 3 quotes (comparable panel size and quality), and his was the best. I also opted for the critter protector thing to prevent birds/squirrels from nesting underneath.

Looked at a lot of different Solar companies, Super happy we went with ION. Overall, great experience with the team. McCallum Smith our Rep was very friendly and knowledgeable, not pushy. He gave us all the details, outlined tradeoffs, and answered all of our questions. The Install team and the support were great. Would definitely recommend ION to anyone looking for a solid Solar company.

Needed an outlet installed in my closet for a safe and Caleb got it done quick and cheap! Very professional and a great attitude, will definitely be using Reddin in the future!
