I had a shop sink installed in my art room. He was a pretty cool dude, didn’t mess around, did the job and did it well. And my dog liked him too.

Sasquatch plumbing gave me multiple options for repair. I had a burst pipe under my living room floor leaking hot water. Instead of tearing up the floor they ran a Pex pipe through my old pipes. They had it fixed quickly and saved me a ton of money. I will definitely be a return customer.

Sasquatch did an amazing job installing a new bath tub & faucet. Also ran all new plumbing needed to facilitate the look I wanted. This is not the first time I’ve used Tate’s services, and again he did a beautiful job! He even built the teak platform for me.Thorough and dependable, I will certainly use again!

Gets it right the first time!

Came out to my house on a Saturday and fixed a gas leak at my home, fast and efficiently. We will definitely refer to our neighbors.

Left job unfinished never came back to finish the job. Very unprofessional, left a mess and supplies behind. Didn't bother cleaning up behind themselves. Call the white man save yourself a headache.

This is literally the worst company I have ever worked with. After one of their technicians misdiagnosed my plumbing issue (this was confirmed by the next company that came to my house) I was still charged nearly $300. I called and asked to speak with someone but that got me nowhere. Not to mention, this was on a Friday so for an entire weekend I had no access to a toilet or running water of any kind... which Affordable Leak Detection said was “not their problem”. Four days after this occurred I FINALLY got in touch with Buddy who treated me like garbage over the phone. I tried calmly explaining my situation but he raised his voice at me, cussed at me, and hung up on me. Thankfully my home warranty company (who was responsible for sending them to me in the first place) refunded my money. If you can help it at all, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Trust me, all of the other negative reviews you read are accurate.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF ITS FROM YOUR HOME WARRANTY! We only had to use them because that's who our home warranty sent out. They came over to look at a leak for our toilet. They wrote in their paperwork that our toilet was leaking due to excessive force. We didn't even tell them anything and they made it up in the paperwork so it wasn't covered in the warranty. If you try to call them they will not answer back. Please read the BAD reviews! It's true. We also looked at their Facebook and it says they are permanently closed BUT look at the reviews. Its literally similar to what happened to us. They will try to write whatever on the paperwork and take your money and run.

We have filed a report with Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). If anyone that reads this and has been affected, please contact the BBB and FTC also so this company can be held accountable.

We bought a house in April 2020 and have had the WORST sewer issues since we've been here. I have to say, Buddy is super honest and up front and I would never call anyone else. Had another issue pop up during the Ice Storm and Buddy came out Monday (today) to check it out. I fully expected another foundation breaker, but he cleared the sewer clog and explained what happened. Just absolutely superb service. When they're here, it's usually bad news, but we're so happy that we have a company we can call and we trust. Thanks again all!

Service not listed because a service was not provided. I would not recommend this company at ALL!! The person answering the phones is INCREDIBLY RUDE and unprofessional. If you read the reviews about this company she is mentioned SEVERAL times! I am also assuming she does the replies to the reviews as they are also very rude and unprofessional. I had to use them through my warranty company, the guy came out twice and my garbage disposal was not fixed or replaced. Instead he tried to sell me a $300 part that I did not even need. That to me is pretty shady. I don't know how this company is still in business. If you are having to use them because of your warranty company DON'T. You can request to use another company. I did, and I am very happy with the service of the new provider!

Watch out for this company. They wanted to charge me over $1000 dollars to replace my hot water heater because, they said they had to replace my water lines also. The guy said the new hot water heater is taller so he needed to run new lines. 1- they sell short water heaters. 2- my lines are flexible. Unfortunately, I was not at home and my wife was dealing with him and he must of though he could pull one over on her. Called Lowe's and had one done for $564 dollars which is half the price.

This company is a prime example of why home warranties have poor reputations. American Home Shield customers: Did you know you can request an alternate contractor? You can, and if this plumber is assigned to your claim, you should.

We requested service for our water heater, which was shutting off and leaking water. American Home Shield assigned Affordable Leak Detection. The company called promptly (a good start) to make an appointment and were set to come the next day between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. That’s a wide window. Rather than missing a full day of work, we asked if they would call on the way so someone could leave work to meet them. We both work very close to home. The person who scheduled the appointment said yes, they would do that. But no call ever came. After reviewing our doorbell video, we found that someone arrived at 3 p.m. No doorbell ring was recorded, only the motion of the plumber (?) was detected on the porch. If there was an attempt made to call either of us, it somehow didn’t come to either of our phones. Mysterious! The man left a door hanger (“Sorry we missed you!”) and that was all.

Upon calling them, they said they “can’t always call on the way” (really? then don’t say you will!), claimed their representative rang the doorbell (no evidence of that exists - again, it records rings/videos), claimed they called (again, no calls recorded), refused to reschedule, and told us we’d need to enter another service call through AHS for their assistance ($). Must be nice to collect a fee for walking onto someone’s porch and then leaving! To add insult to injury, the office staff — after being pressed — would not return calls, resorting instead to texting us to again say, sorry, enter a new claim.

Are they good plumbers? I can’t say. But I can tell you I felt disrespected and taken advantage of and their customer service ranks among the worst I’ve experienced. Perhaps we dodged a bullet. Should I have the misfortune to have them assigned to a future service call, I’ll request that AHS change the contractor. You should, too.

Even before my appointment I received wonderful services from the lady at the desk of ALD. She answered the phone quickly without having to put me on hold, and she was very kind and approachable. Darien the tech was also kind and efficient. He found the problem and gave me details of how and why the problem occurred and how to fix it. He had great knowledge on what is covered under home warranty and what is not. He also took time to answer questions I had regarding plumbing (which is not what he came for).

The crew arrived within their time frame and promptly found our leak. They repaired the issue quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional, kind and respectful. They wore masks & respected our wishes to remove their shoes when walking on the carpet. I would definitely recommend Affordable Leak Detection and would use them again.

Affordable leak detection came to our home to repair a slab leak that another company, "Plumb Genius", could not locate.
Buddy "the owner" was out to my home within the hour. He assessed the situation and with our consent he began working on the leak immediately.
He dispatched a leak detector technician that thoroughly scanned our subflooring for leaks.
He wasted no time. Soon after that he had the repair team at our door and communicated to them the approximate location of the leak.
They began busting through our slab and found the leak immediately.
Repair was made and cleanup was done.
The next business day I contacted the office to request some paperwork for my insurance company.
Shannon gladly expedited the documents to my email.

I was very pleased with the tech that came out to help me. He diagnosed the problem within a minute of being there and quickly resolved it. He answered all of my plumbing questions and even took care of an issue I had with my washing machine, that I didn't expect him to do. He was super helpful and polite.
