I had to have a plumbing contractor complete some work while our home was on the market for sale.
My general contractor neighbor recommended Excellence plumbing. They did all the work needed and to the inspectors satisfaction. Everything was done quickly and I feel that the value was far greater than the invoice charge(which was about 1/3 of what I thought it might be). The office staff is very courteous and helpful. Oscar is a blessing. He was able to repair a leak in my bathtub caused by an older difficult to access damaged cartridge. In contrast to a previous bid, he was able to do the repair without needing to go through a wall or take out tiles. This was done for a quarter of the price that was bid by another plumbing company. Excellence Plumbing was professional, friendly, clean, and able to clearly and patiently explain the problem, process and solution. Great communications and responsiveness from Shelley. Highly recommended.

Oscar was recommending to me by my Father, who recently had his entire house re-piped and was very please with the results. I utilized their services for a complete underground and rough-in work for a garage to ADU conversion. He was very patient with me as a home owner who had never designed a bathroom / kitchen before and provided a lot of necessary insight. I will be definitely passing on Oscar's contact to friends and family.

It all started when my landscaper lifted the cover off the box where the sprinkler backflow and turn on/off valves are, and discovered it was half full of water. Another plumbing company was out at my house at the time, and they thought it might be a leak at the connection to the main water line. So they gave me a quote for fixing it, and also I asked for a quote to replace the water service line into the house, because my neighbors had just gone through replacing theirs because it had a leak. Later that day I talked to my neighbor, who told me about Excellence Plumbing and what a great job they did. When he told me what they paid for the work, I was shocked -- it was much less than what I had been quoted by the other company. I called Excellence and they sent John out to look at the jobs needing to be done, and he gave me a quote for the sprinkler connection leak repair, and a quote for replacing the water service line. To do everything, their quote was much less than the other company's. I decided to go ahead with the water service line replacement as well as the sprinkler fix, because I didn't want something to happen later, and possibly not have water for a couple of days. They had a bit of a change on the schedule, because the man scheduled to come had called in sick. But in spite of that, they arrived just a half-hour later than they originally planned to be there. They were courteous and so kind, and they knew what they were doing and did it efficiently. I am very glad I talked to my neighbors!! Excellence Plumbing will be my plumbing service from now on.

I used Excellence plumbing several times. Normally they got the job done, but the costs were higher than others, especially when you needed an add-on service. In my case I was going to re-pipe the house, and they quoted another $1400(another 5 star plumber quoted $550) for replacing a water heater even though they needed to replace all the connections to the old water heater anyway. I would suggest shopping around for bigger jobs.

I was referred to Josh from Facebook due to my AC going down this past week. He was able to get to my house quicker than anyone else. I am glad because he was able to quickly diagnose and repair what was wrong, and fix for a very reasonable cost! Just in time for record heat. I won't hesitate to recommend Excellence Plumbing to anyone!

They had good reviews so I used it but I was so disappointed. The problem was leaking under a kitchen sink at a rental property. Two guys showed up with a different vehicle. When I asked how long it would take, one of the guys told me it would take a few hours and had me leave. Sounded like s big deal to fix it. They just replaced a disposal and got it done within half an hour. The charge was $522.50. It was not fair deal. I wished I did not pick them up for the services.

We recently changed our hot water heater and in the process realized that we had super old pipes that were extremely corroded and rusty. Oscar was able to come out the following day and assess what we would need to do. He was extremely professional and gave us an reasonable quote for completely re-plumbing the house, as well as replacing the kitchen drain and main line in to the house. Shelly is also very professional and kept us in the loop with scheduling and follow up. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Oscar and his crew are fantastic. The re-piped our entire house, and did a great job. They also came out recently to replace an old drainage pipe, and were able to come same-day, and complete the job in just a couple of hours. Oscar is super friendly, and good at explaining things so that anyone can understand what he's talking about. Excellence Plumbing is definitely our go-to plumber.

Great customer service, responds quickly to communications. I needed to install a sink so requested a quote, they responded and helped me make sure that the preparation was done to make the installation possible. I was scheduled for installation in about 2 weeks but they called as they had a opportunity to install it and came to installation in less than an hour. Did a great job of installation and found a issue with our drain from the kitchen so they fixed issue and installed the sink. Easy to work with and got it done quickly. This is the third time I need plumbing help and wouldn't have considered another plumber. I would recommend them to anyone need their help. Couldn't have done a better job. Cleaned the work area, made sure the plumbing was done correctly and made it a great experience.

After contacting several other seemingly reputable plumbing companies in the Portland area we chose Excellence for a couple reasons:

1. They offered a free estimate. All other plumbers we hired to estimate the job charged a fee of $60-90 (credited to the job if we hired them). I understand providing an estimate costs the business money but it felt like this fee was used as leverage so we'd hire them. Instead, their plumbers either showed up late, unannounced or their estimate was borderline outrageous.
2. Excellence's estimate was reasonable (not the cheapest, not the most expensive).

We hired them to install a new sink in a space that didn't already have one. The crew showed up and was very professional, fast and made sure to leave the space as clean as they found it. The city inspected the work, no problems. We're going to have them back out for a second phase and will not hesitate to hire them again. This is our new go-to plumber in the future.

I contracted with Excellence Plumbing to replace all the water pipes in my 50-year-old condo home after reviewing bids from a number of other contractors. My experience with Excellence was, pun intended, excellent. Interactions prior to the work were helpful, they showed up on time, and worked very diligently to complete the project. I was especially impressed by how clean they left the unit – inside and out – after they completed their work for each day. I was also impressed during the development of the project specifications that Mr. Remedio steered me in the best direction for insulating the new pipes, even though it meant he would lose that part of the job. I would definitely return to Excellence for any future plumbing needs that I might have.

Fast, clean, efficient, courteous, completely re-piped my home in 2 days, and recommended a great sheet-rock person who came 2 days later to close it up. My 2nd time using them, and they're my go-to for home plumbing. Hillsboro inspector said they did a great job and it's what he expects to see when he hears they've done the work.

Shelly was efficient and friendly over the phone, and Oscar is a great plumber, pure and simple. They were both very cheerful about their work. After describing our problem over the phone, we got a rough price quote. Being satisfied with the price, we went ahead and had him come take a look at it. After looking at the pipe that needed work, Oscar suggested a different fix that ended up being $75 less! Amazing! Needless to say, the quality of the work was very satisfactory and finished in record time.

I can’t believe I forgot to write a review before. Excellence plumbing has been my go to for years for plumbing work. Outstanding quality and fair pricing. A local family owned beaverton company. I highly recommend them. They’ve fixed problems a GC hired plumber couldn’t figure out and could schedule me way faster than any other contractor, ANY contractor of any sort. Give them a shot!

Work they’ve done for me: hose bibs, bath fixtures and vanities, old piping repairs, kitchen sink dishwasher and garbage disposal. All done correctly the first time!

Having a working pedestal sink is giving us a lot of relief. (I called a company in the neighborhood last year and his repair lasted about three months.) I generally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to with my experience with Excellence Plumbing! I called on a Friday afternoon urgently needing to replace Water Heater Tank due to water leak. They were super helpful in trying to make this happen for me despite their busy schedule. Pricing was competitive vs other quotes I received, but it was their customer care, service, and going above and beyond that won me over. Highly recommended! :)
