Plumbing reviews in Beaverton, Oregon

We have been using Beaverton plumbing for years, they were always the fastest, fairly priced, most professional and thorough shop we've worked with. We've called them for all kinds of jobs, fixing valves, leaks, replacing water heaters etc. A couple of years ago when fixing a leaky valve, they warned us our galvanized plumbing was just about at the end of its life. Sure enough, this year was the year that we needed to have everything replaced.
We called Derek, he came over to look at everything, and turned around a competitive quote very quickly. We decided that since we were already replacing all of the water, this would be a good time to also replace some of the old bathroom parts, and we worked with his supplier and got everything scheduled and ordered.
The galvanized water replacement was first, the team was, as always, super polite, professional, and wouldn't hesitate to stop and discuss what they were up to. You can stay in the house while they are working (but it is quite loud sometimes), and they turned the water back on before leaving daily so we were never without running water for more than a few hours. They planned out the project so there was always one working bathroom and shower. Once the galvanized piping was replaced, the delight was immediate - great water pressure, the water tasted 100X better, and, of course, no leaks!
In retrospect it totally makes sense, but at the time, I was surprised at the amount of holes in the walls as a result of removing all of the bath stuff and piping in the house, and was wondering if I should have gone with GC to coordinate everything. Fortunately, Derek knows a lot of skilled people, and he set me up with a sheetrock expert, where in the end, the repaired areas look better than than it did originally.
After getting through the water replacement and going into the bathroom upgrades, we hit a delay with one of the bath parts that would have set the project back quite a bit. Derek, again, was on the ball, and went over several options with us, ultimately guiding us to working with NW Total Home on bathroom tiles over the fiberglass insert that was on delay. I couldn't be happier with this move, the bathroom looks fantastic. Derek was super thoughtful about his advice, shared what he did with his bathroom, and gave me a couple of options for shops to work with. While this switch did delay the scheduling a bit, Derek and his team were super flexible and worked around the scheduling dates of the other contractors. As soon as a contractor finished, his crew would be in the next morning.
His crew must like working there, there were guys that came in that had worked on some of our galvanized issues years before. They were a pleasure to have in the house, and would stop and discuss options to make sure everything was perfect for us. Little things, like adjusting the shower head height, or the best place to relocate the toilet (we had to move it over from the shower to be code compliant). They would share pros and cons, and tell you how they would do it in their own home. They would give us a heads up via text when they were on their way. When "old house" stuff came up as they removed the old bathroom parts (like weak subflooring), they did the extra and made everything better than they found it.
I thought needing our roof replaced was a big job, but that was Little League compared to replacing all of the water in your house. Beaverton Plumbing AKA New System knows their stuff. I would absolutely use them again, though, I don't feel like I am going to have any water problems for quite a while, I might just need to invite them to BBQs. -
Beaverton Plumbing installed our new kitchen faucet. A week later it came loose from the counter BP came back and tightened it. A week later it came loose again. Joel said that it was attached to a flawed cabinet and would have to charge over $400 to fix it. My son came and found that the tightening bolt had excessive grease and got that removed. Also found that the faucet was attached to the quartz counter top which was flat. He got it tightened in 15 minutes.

Edward Grant was our plumber who came on a Sunday afternoon and repaired the valve that failed. I am very pleased and so thankful for your service. My tenants were without water for 2 days until Edward saved the day!! He was everything -- kind, professional, knew what he was doing and got the repair done!! Thank you so much and I will highly recommend Mr Grant and 1800plumber

These guys were so helpful and communicative and I appreciate how accommodating they were. We had a leak the week before a surgery and they were really respectful and helped us get things taken care of asap. The gentleman that came out was very pleasant and professional, and especially helpful by answering questions related to another issue we were looking at getting fixed. Overall these guys are wonderful to work with and I'll be going to them in the future with any future fixes!

We got a new kitchen faucet installed. Keltan was our plumber and he was very helpful and professional. I'd call this company again, but I definitely will have to save my dollars and cents before I call. A delta faucet with spray in the faucet plus installation was $1218. We had a party planned for the next day and I was overwhelmed with work so I didn't seek any other bids, so I agreed, but that cost hurt the credit card a lot!

I appreciated the opportunity to work with this company. I would call them again. Arranging appointments, being updated with timelines, and hearing from the plumber directly was efficient and appreciated.

This company is horrible. They were hired to fix a plumbing problem in our apartment complex. They had to come by 3 different times. They left an enormous hole in the wall. Less than a month later the same problem reappeared. Don't waste your time on this company. They're completely incompetent.

Aron from 1-800 Plumber came out to fix a leaking pipe under my kitchen sink. I know nothing about plumbing and was really quite relieved that Aron was personable and knowledgable enough to explain the process to a layperson. The other quote I received was out of thin air, so the fact that he was able to explain the reasoning behind his quote made me more confident that he had a plan. The cost was acceptable, the work seems to be quite good, and he didn't make any mess for me. 10/10

The person who scheduled the visit on the phone did not disclose that their 2-hour minimum was $500. Only after the actual plumber arrived (at a minimum $75 fee) did he confirm that the job I'd requested (replacing the valve in the toilet) was a 10-minute job that others could do for far far less. The plumber himself was great and professional. But the phone people took advantage of me.

We unfortunately cannot recommend this business, as it cost us over $500 to have minor leaks repaired on two sink faucet handles. The plumber arrived but did not have the proper materials to do the repair (despite our fixtures being fairly standard), so left to go purchase them. He then returned an hour later and then found he did not have the right Allan wrench for the job, so left again to get that! We were billed for 2 hours of work at $200/hour, and we feel the job could have been completed much quicker if he had the proper equipment with him (bizarre that the giant truck he was driving did not contain these standard items). Also, we were told when booking the appointment that the 'dispatch fee' would be refunded if work was done. The fee WAS NOT refunded and we were later told this is "only for some jobs". We could have purchased entirely new fixtures for the price we spent! Finally, we learned through this experience that this company is basically "Uber" for plumbers - the first to respond gets the job. So quality and price will likely be quite variable.

1-800-Plumber+Air was fantastic! They were out at our property within a few hours to take care of our water leak. Dylan was sent out to assess the issue and took care of it the same day- as well as get water restored to our building! He was friendly, polite and easy to work with! We will definitely be using services from 1-800-Plumber+Air again!

I was in need of service and less than 24 hours after my call (by the next morning), a technician was here. Wilson was prompt, kind, respectful, showed me what was happening and advised me of my opinions. He was able to unclog two sinks and replace a pop up in less than a couple hours. This is the second time I’ve used 1-800 and it won’t be the last! Thanks Wilson!

I am the on-site manager of the Paramount Parke apartments run by Real Property Management Solutions. Over the last few days we have had a major plumbing emergency. We were sent a journeyman plumber by the name of Shawn Eddlemon.
He was absolutely excellent. 💯
He came here quickly and stayed late Saturday night trying to locate the issue. He made sure we were in a safe place before he stopped Saturday and came back on Sunday. On Sunday he took a huge part of his day yo fix our major leak and frankly it was awesome.
He communicated very directly with me. He was super respectful and down to earth. He didn't sugar coat anything and told me exactly what was need which I appreciate so much.
I am not a plumber so I don't know everything technical but he explained things on my level. He showed me pictures of the steps he took. He called me to fill me in when I had to step away for bits of time. I completely trust him to be here working on the units and around the building.
From now on I'll be requesting him for services in our building whenever possible. -
John the drain technician arrived shortly after I received text he was in transit. He paid attention as I described the problems I was experiencing with a sluggish drain. He explained the plan of attack and also informed me of a worse case scenario given the age of my home. He went about his business, sent down a camera as well and got things flowing. Turns out the worst case scenario didn’t play out, but I appreciate the fact that it was pointed out. There may be a root problem on the City’s side of the waste line, I wish I was as confident of their response as I am with 1-800 Plumber & Air. John cleaned his work area up, presented me with a very fair price, let me know to call in with any concerns. I highly recommend 1-800-Plumber & Air for any plumbing, drainage, or HVAC work. Great service and prices.

Great experience- a personable technician showed up on time, quickly gave an estimate that was acceptable, and did the work in a timely way. He was careful to wear booties and cleaned up after his work, and did a 2nd run through to ensure that the drain was cleared. I’d definitely use them again!

I had a great experience with fast service. I had water backing up into two sinks and they were able to arrive within 24 hours of calling and clear the problem including doing water jetting to help prevent it in the future. I felt the price was affordable considered the price of plumbers today.

Absolutely outstanding experience! When we urgently needed a plumber, their answering service proved to be prompt, reliable, and provided regular updates. This plumbing company is truly top-notch. Their professionalism, punctuality, and overall service exceeded my expectations. Delighted with the quality of their work – highly recommended!

Ron from 1800Plumber+Air is great! Explained everything had good suggestions and came on time. Ron several months back fixed our gas fireplace and even cleaned the glass and cobwebs out. Ron is the BEST!

Dylan came out to inspect a possible leak at the property I manage. I deal with a lot of vendors day to day and they rarely make such an impression that I have to give a review! Dylan was a true professional. He came in and shook my hand and introduced himself and gave me all the information that I needed in regards to the job that needed done. He was positive and kind and extremely helpful. I was very impressed and so was my maintenance supervisor! Thank you Dylan!!

One of my tankless water heaters stopped heating. After several calls quoting $200-$280 dispatch fees, with costs on top of that charge, I was so relieved to get a $75 quote from 800 Plumber & Air, assuring me that it would be applied to any work or parts needed to fix my issue. They were able to get a service person out at the end of the day. It turned out the tankless heater just needed the resent pushed on the inside of the panel. There was a bit of confusion over the initial $75 being a dispatch fee but in the end, 800 Plumber & Air stuck to their word and only charged me the $75. Would I ever use this company again - most likely! Would I ever refer them to anyone - most likely! Thankful that I have hot water again - of course.

Skylar was excellent from the very beginning! He came in person to look at what was needed for the job (we had another estimate from someone over the phone). He also give us an estimate with options that we could choose from. He explained in detail what was needed and he answered all of our questions, most of which before we even asked them! He was so friendly and extremely efficient with the install! Everything was working great when he was done and he gave us excellent advice for maintaining the new water line. I will definitely call him if we ever have another plumbing install or need again! I also highly recommend him for all of your plumbing needs, he is the GO TO PLUMBER!!
