Milwaukie Heating & Cooling is always a pleasure to work with! They installed a brand new HVAC unit in our home 2 weeks ago to replace our 25 year old unit. Just in time for Portland’s hottest recorded days ever. During this heat wave of 115 degrees, our house has not gone above 69 degrees the whole time! I’m so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they worked, and they even notified us of a possible leak under the house while they replaced the lines. Super friendly team, we will also be using Milwaukie Heating & Cooling. Thank you!!

I am glad I went with Milwaukie Heating & Cooling. I did compare prices and they were the most reasonable and have been very helpful. I just had my 1-year service done and JB was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure that our unit was running well and my concerns about the ductwork in our house were addressed. He was very professional and I appreciated all of his help. I highly recommend Milwaukie for your heat pump.

Nothing but issues with our new A/C Unit and Jim and Team have been no help. Literally trying to nickle and dime me for obvious manufacturing defects. They came out for a service call because the unit was not working once again. They have been out multiple times in the last month and I have paid over $1000 out-of-pocket already. They replaced another part and wanted to charge me several hundred dollars even though it was a manufacturer defect. Keep in mind the unit is only two years old. I refused to pay so they removed the new part and reinstalled the old one. The AC unit still worked with the old part being reinstalled. So it was obviously not the issue, yet they are still charging me for the part and the service call. Absolutely ridiculous. I also filed a complaint with BBB. You have several options when it comes to your HVAC needs. I would avoid Milwaukie Heating and Cooling.

Excellent service, transparent communication, very clear on timing, and what parts and labor would be required. I chose Milwaukie H&C over the company that installed my furnace because of their better communication, accurate estimate of the cost of labor, and great attitude. They fixed my furnace just in time for Thanksgiving. Marc was personable, chatty, and let me know exactly what was going on. Repairing a furnace is never cheap, but I could not be happier with the service I received.

We had a fantastic experience working with Milwaukie Heating & Cooling to replace our nearly 20-year old HVAC system. We ended up with a gas furnace and outdoor heat pump combo that has performed absolutely great since the install. Competitive pricing, quality workmanship, open availability, and amazing employees are all reasons why we chose Milwaukie over other local HVAC companies and why we're completely happy with that decision.

Our furnace was failing going into the heating season, and we decided on a replacement mainly due to age. Nate helped us identify a system that would fit the house and meet our needs/wants. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, knowing the answers to the number of questions we threw his way while also being very patient with us as we took the time to weigh our options.

We ended up deciding on replacing our 'outdoor A/C and gas furnace' with 'an outdoor heat pump and another gas furnace'. John and Rich were able to get all the work done in a single day! They came out in the morning and were done by early afternoon. Their workmanship was fantastic and all parts of the installation were clean and showed amazing quality.

We've also had the pleasure of working with Amy and Jim over the phone to help with scheduling and other questions. Just like the others, they have been absolutely great to work with and return calls promptly if I missed them.

The system performed great through the heating season and I can't wait to see how it goes during the summer months. Heat pump is much quieter than the A/C it replaced and we love having the flexibility/backup to use natural gas or electricity to heat the house.

Overall we're very happy with our decision to use Milwaukie Heating & Cooling. They've been very helpful, and willing to answer questions post-install. I would not hesitate to call Milwaukie again for any HVAC needs, and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Last month we had them come and install air conditioning in our home. I wanted to wait a bit to review just in case there were any issues. We had a very small problem right after install but they were here and fixed it within an hour of my call, and the cooling is working like a dream! John and Rich were very professional and kind, and oh so very patient with my son wanting to help or play with them any time they weren't in the attic.

Everyone I interacted with at the shop was amazing and happy to answer any questions we had. I'd definitely recommend reaching out if you're in the market for anything HVAC.

We recently purchase a heat pump with gas furnace backup through Milwaukie Heating. They did a great job from start to finish. Nathan was the sales rep who worked with us to find a system that met our needs. The techs showed up on time, did a great job, and made sure we were satisfied before they left. The system has been up and running like a dream and has exceeded our expectations.

good communication and service for gas fireplace not properly adjusting the flame hight. Jeremy solved the issue by discovering a spider nest in a part that was so small he needed a toothpick to clear out the part and extract the spider/nest (gas fireplace flame sensor)

Technician Marc and his helper just left, after fixing my 3 ton heat pump. They were courteous, knowledgeable and had the 'can do' attitudes that only professionals can relay to a customer. Thanks to Jim in the office for returning all inquiries very timely and the receptionist for her calming voice and disposition!

Technician was very thorough and professional. It was a pleasure to have him visit my home and I feel confident that he did an excellent job with care and maintenance of the furnace.

John and Rich were wonderful, as well as Nate and Jim, and I would hire Milwaukie heating and cooling again in a heartbeat. They have been supporting us with our heat pump since 2012 and we just hired them again to install an upgraded unit. Nate was incredibly knowledgeable and shared enough information to leave me feeling excited about the technology without being pushy at all. John and Rich and their team were friendly, communicative and easy to have in our home for the day during the install - even when clearly frustrated by aspects of the process, John was incredibly friendly and helpful, with me and our dogs. Our house feels warmer already and I really appreciate how Nate and Jim helped me take advantage of all of the credits and rebates possible. Thanks guys!

Milwaukie heating and cooling was the best choice I have made in a long time. I shopped hard and choose them last summer and had them install. What a professional group of folks. Here I am a year later with a small issue that was not their doing. Jim and crew worked out a solution, called me back within a couple hours and was at my house the next day with a fix. For Free!!!
