Divine Heating and Cooling put a Mini Split in my store in Milwaukie and demoed out our old system and really took care of my needs as a customer. Matt, Sarah and Ronnie make a great team and I couldn’t be happier with the product and service that I received. I really did my homework looking around the area for an HVAC company that was able to meet my needs and I feel great about choosing them. I’ve had my system in place for about a month now and it’s kept my store cool when it was hot and kept it warm when it was cold out. We’ve got an older building with probably not the best insulation and it’s kept up very well. I plan on calling them again when it’s time to upgrade my system at home.

The service technician was professional, courteous & patient in answering several questions I had. He took excellent care of the HVAC system for me, even including an extra minor repair. Thanks, Milwaukie Heating & Cooling, for all your good work.

Scheduled a service call for my gas furnace to make sure it was operational and in-check for this coming winter. JB, the technician, came out and did a fantastic job. He was mindful of the property, asked permission to move anything that might have gotten in his way, and put everything back where it was originally moved.

We even added in some heating tape to the condensate line to make sure it won't freeze this winter when it gets below freezing.

may (or may not) be the best fit for us.
They customized every option for us and our home, and provided it in detail for our consideration. That proved to be really helpful in our decision-making.

and then took it several steps further by submitting all of the necessary paperwork so that we didn’t have to spend any of our time with it!
They even helped us with finding financing that worked for our specific situation.

Rich and John were awesome at installing our heat pump and propane furnace. Would highly recommend them for any installation, it’s a rare find to have two individuals that do a good of work that they did on our install. I highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Milwaukie Heating & Cooling. I called to get an estimate for an AC install. They returned my call quickly and got me scheduled within a week. Nate came out to give me a quote. He was on time, respectful, polite, friendly, and explained things in an easy to understand way.
Their quote provided 4 options, ranging from a budget choice to the high-end option. Nate also told us about all of the available rebates from Energy Trust Oregon and explained their financing options.
We made our selection and were scheduled for the install less than 2 weeks later! The installers were on time, clean, quick, and friendly. The main installer even took about 45 minutes to explain how the thermostat works and helped us set it up.
A few days later, Nate came back to have me sign final paperwork to make sure we got all of the rebates and took one last look at the system. He made sure we understood how everything worked, and that everything was functioning. They even scheduled a time with the county to come do the necessary inspections.
We will absolutely use Milwaukie Heating & Cooling again.

Mark has been at our home for 3 visits on our Carrier furnace warranty issue. He determined the issue and ordered and installed the parts needed quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this experienced and very professional technician at any time. Plus he’s just a really nice guy!

I had a non-working heat pump for my manufactured home. All the bids I got for replacement were similar in price, but I chose Milwaukie H&C. Nathan, who gave me the bid, was extremely thorough in determining what equipement would work for me. In evaluating the bids, I asked tons of questions which he always promptly answered. I chose a newer gen heat pump, which none of the other companies offered.

My installation occurred in less than a week after I accepted the bid. John and Rich, who did the work, were great. They were on time, professional, and friendly. Within about 4 hours they decommissioned my old unit and installed the new one. It turned out my wiring to the pump had to be upgraded, which was handled with no delays. I really don't know how the service I got could be improved on. And the new heat pump is so quiet! Thanks to Milwaukied Heating & Cooling for making the whole process painless.

They put in a new heater and A/C unit. Great job and very professional and on time. Explained what they were doing and had it all in and done in 2 days.

I researched a couple of options for an air purifier, but decided to go with Milwaukie for two reasons:
1) They seem to have the most promising reviews that indicates the product will be of good quality.
2) The price was relatively cheap for the product that they were selling.

Upon installation, the timeliness, the ease on my part, and the quality of installation were all up to or better than my expectations.

Nate was my installer. He’s a funny guy, very knowledgeable, adaptive to the weird set-up I have for my heating unit (long story, but it worked out due to his expertise), and he ensured I was completely satisfied before going above and beyond with his services.

I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m not sure of all the other installers at Milwaukie, but if you get Nate, you are in good hands.

I can keep this review updated with any new information I get regarding the longevity of the air filter. But for now, after three months, there have been absolutely no issues. Just clean air.

I got several quotes to add AC to our existing furnace, and from the get go, Milwaukie Heating & Cooling was a front runner. Joel, on the sales side, was super helpful, thorough, and communicative. He took tons of measurements and photos, and was knowledgeable about all my options. He was responsive when I had a million questions and was flexible when I wasn't sure about things. We ended up deciding on a heat pump add-on to our furnace for the cost to value ratio. They were able to get the install scheduled very fast (before the heat wave!).

John and Rich (and some lovely electricians) worked through the install quickly and flawlessly. They asked about placement, were polite, quick, and cleaned up well after themselves. They were done before the day was over and our brand new heat pump was up and running and looking pretty. They even walked us through how to use the thermostat and change the new filter.

I would recommend the team at Milwaukie Heating & Cooling to anyone, they are a small local business, family owned AND the only union shop in town!

JB came out to follow up on my concern about a new noise my furnace was making. I was relieved it was nothing serious and had him do the annual service on both the furnace and air conditioning unit. He took the time to go over everything, recommend some sizes & types of filters and went the extra mile when we needed some help with one of the functions on the thermostat. Milwaukie heating and cooling was able to provide a bid very quickly. Nate was very courteous and provided through information to help me to decide on the proper HVAC equipment. I was scheduled within one day and service completed in less than 48 hours from bid to finish of project. John was helpful and thoughtful doing his work while try not to disturb my newly seeded lawn and assured me of the equipment I chose. John was also helpful providing an overview of my system and the upgrades they provided. Check out for payment was quick and easy and very appreciated. I was also pleased they were able to coordinate my duct cleaning for me and included in the bid. Thank you for the quick install just in time for the hot weather to arrive.

We've used Milwaukie Heating and Cooling for years and have always been happy with their professional, thorough and reliable service. John, Josh and Richard just did a great job installing a mini split AC system in our 100-year-old home. They explained everything in clear language, showed up when they said they would and were super easy to work with. When Nate first came to my house, he was extremely helpful in evaluating my situation (a furnace that was more than 40 years old), and in going over all the details of what could and should be done. No high pressure sales pitch— just a very thorough and knowledgeable explanation of what I needed. He then sent out a detailed description of four possible options for a new heating and cooling system.

Later, when John and Rich came out to install the new system, they were very efficient, very skillful, very competent. And they got the job done in less time than they had estimated. They also did a great job in the cleanup.

A year earlier I had another furnace and a/c installed by a different company (it’s a two-furnace house), and Milwaukie Heating was superior in every way. I’m very pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend them.

I just had a new gas furnace and heat pump installed. Nate was great to work with, educating me about options, and running multiple quotes for different configurations. They were able to do the install the week after I signed the contract. The install team was professional, courteous and knowledgable. It was a 2-day job. There was an issue with the Carrier thermostat which took 5 days to resolve. JB is my hero. It took him two trips and several calls to Carrier to figure out their software bug and get their support to fix it. He was patient and courteous, and finally got my new system to start doing its job. I had seen reviews that said these high tech systems could be finicky, and that was certainly true in my case. But now that I'm connected, I can manage the system through my app, and Milwaukie Heating and Cooling can do remote diagnostics if needed. I'm happy with the system and the install and recommend this family owned business without hesitation.
