Don was very knowledgeable about sub zero refrigeration and these guys are one of the only shops in Salem who know how to service Sub zero. Highly recommend!

I am upset and wondering if it is possible to trust any service companies again. In December, the Appliance Hospital of Eugene came to my house to take a look at my dishwasher that wasn't drying the dishes. My dishwasher was still under warranty at the time. The technician examined it and told me that there was a problem with the 'motherboard.' He said he had never seen a dishwasher do what mine was doing and assured me they would order a new motherboard. I waited and waited, and finally, six months later, I decided to check back. The company now says that the problem is not in their notes and that my dishwasher is now out of warranty, so they can't do anything about it anymore. I am actually surprised by this. I usually trust the companies I work with, but after this, I feel like it's impossible to trust anyone's word. What are you supposed to do? Treat everyone as a criminal and record every conversation you have with every business? This feels so wrong. How does the wrong action of one company make us lose trust in everyone else?

Our tecnician, Victor did an excellent job. He was patient and persistent in diagnosing the problems and then repairing them. He worked later than usual working hours to get the stove fixed. Excellent service!

Great service. Diagnosed problems right the first time and had it fixed as soon as the part came in.

The service is awesome. I have not always had good service with other repair places and I have nothing but good things to say about this group. Noah is prompt, polite, honest and good at his job. He explains things without assuming I’m an idiot ‘cause I’m female. Highly recommend.

Great service, on time arrival, and knowledgable in supporting our need.

Exceptionally polite and efficient office staff and service technicians. Today Don had the necessary replacement part with him when he came to do diagnostics on my oven, so it was a one visit fix that was very much appreciated!

We contacted Appliance Hospital because our refrigerator and freezer were not cooling properly. For the first appointment, the technician missed their arrival window. They then arrived, said they needed to order parts, and scheduled a day to install those parts. The day of the appointment they cancelled because one of the parts hadn’t come. They scheduled a new day and promised they would get the parts. The day-of that appointment they didn’t have the parts. They scheduled a new appointment a month later (because we were traveling), which we called from abroad to confirm, but the day of that appointment, they cancelled because they realized the part was broken. They scheduled the following week, didn’t arrive within the arrival window, spent awhile looking at the refrigerator only to conclude it can’t be repaired. At the end of that service, the fridge went from not working well to being completely inoperable (i.e., the power to it was cut). We were not warned about this potential outcome and were not offered any compensation for the multiple delays and being left with an inoperable fridge. The only reason I am giving two stars is because they did successfully repair our oven.

Unethical company took the name and model number of a broken microwave over the phone when asked if they could fix it. They said they could send a person out to repair it, cost of service visit, okay. about 5 minutes into the visit he put the name and model number into his phone and promptly told me it was discontinued and he could not fix it. The company could have spent 5 seconds to do that before wasting their and our time, and our hard earned money. $100 down the toilet for absolutely no help.

I have an older Sub Zero Fridge with the fridge side was not cooling. I was recommended by another appliance technician that this company knows what they doing. Unfortunately not what I experienced.
First, when I contact to schedule the appointment, the customer service person on the phone rushed me through the conversation, which she ended up taken down my email address incorrectly.
The first technician came out, checked stuff and said I would get the estimate soon. Well… fast forward a week, no estimation. I had to call the company again to find out because my email address was incorrect in their system. They did not make effort to follow up with their customers.
The technician came out the second round and did the repair, advised me to wait for 24 hours before turning it on. I waited, well it did not work. So I contacted them immediately and got scheduled. The technician came out again to service it, got the fridge side working. Over the night, the freezer side stopped working.
So I contacted them again. The technician got scheduled again to come out. But then he needed to reschedule. AND THEN I haven’t heard from them so I checked in. They replied that they are waiting for parts.
Well… a little time passed, I got a message that the technician before left the company so they would send out another technician. I thought the parts was ordered but that seemed to not be the case. So a new technician was scheduled to come out to just take a look and again send me a new estimation for repair. I emailed the company to get some answers, no reply back. Then they started a schedule system, which not exactly effective because as soon as I picked the date and time, the customer service person contacted me right away to change the date and time.
The new technician got scheduled and came out to repair (4th time). Got everything working, briefly, because as for today (12/01), less than 3 months after they serviced, my fridge side is not cooling again.
I paid over 5K to get a lot of parts repair, several appointments.
NOT RECOMMENDED. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Go with a different company.
UPDATE: They don’t respect their customers. I called and requested them to send somebody out to confirm that the fridge did not work and I requested a refund. They send two technicians out and they attempted to fix it (spoiler alert: DID NOT FIX IT). When they were at my house, the “supervisor” technician commented “this is fun”.
No, it is NOT fun to have a broken fridge for 6 months and wasted $5k+ with this company. Their technicians treated it like a game and have no consideration for customer’s experience, time or money.
Also, don’t fall for their “oh if it does not work out, we can try to refund some of your money.” That is a lie. They will continue to waste your time and try to send people out over and over (who have time to sit at home all day and wait for their technician?).
Oh and please stop saying you understand the customer’s frustration. YOU DON’T, unless you give $5000 away to some random stranger, go home, turn off your fridge, throw away all your foods, then go out and buy a new fridge and then also use some PTO to sit at home and stare at your broken fridge for a few months, then you might understand it. Oh also pour water all over your floor and try to clean it up because when the fridge stopped working after the 4th time your technicians tried to fix it, the ice melted all over my floor. SO NO YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND why your customer is frustrated.
I received NONE of the money I paid. -
We have a gas stove and their repairman came out to fix the front right burner. When he left $463 later, that burner was working, but the front left was broken. We were told they couldn't get parts for it and that if they came out to fix it it would be over $250 more to fix what hadn't been broken.

Jacob is terrific. He’s curious, interested and invested in the mechanics. He’s willing to explore options, try alternatives and sees the value in preserving good old appliances. Jacob is a pleasure to work with. Please nurture and keep him.
