Brandon Franks from Alpine Heating & Air Conditioning is the absolute best technician I have ever the pleasure of being around my home. My appointment wasn't until noon, but he finished his prior job early and made the offer to head out early for service on my 1 year old Furnace and Air Conditioning unit.

Brandon was super personable, knew the ins-and-outs of my system, and was able to make a number of very helpful suggestions for possible upgrades down the road! It was definitely worth signing up for annual service with Alpine based on this experience. As long as Alpine keeps Brandon around and happy, I'll be a loyal Customer!

Nick and Rylie were a great team and very professional. Rylie paid great attention to detail and got a ring out of a duct prior to ‘the vacuum’. Very nice guys to work with.

Andy Kyle was very good and I appreciates him very mych. Andy came to our house to do the estimate to go ductless or maybe gas. I admired his great work and effort as he look around and map out the possible instalations for heating and cooling as we plan to upgrade our house. Andy is also very patient and kind to answer on any questions I have-as I try to learn and understand things that relates to heating and cooling. Totally a 5 star.

Cade Williams came to do routine annual servicing on our home HVAC system for Alpine for the second year in a row. In both instances he was very knowledgeable, careful and thorough and a pleasure and interesting to interact with. He was here for about 3 hours. We had extensive cleaning of both the indoor and outdoor units of the HVAC system including the blower wheels. We have been so pleased with Alpine over the 7 years or so since the HVAC installation that we have an annual Silver contract with them.

Tim did a great job. Not only did he knowledgeably do the work, but referred us to potential problems and even sorted out confusing billing issues. We hope we get to see him again next year.

The team called ahead, arrived at the promised time, were very knowledgeable answered all my questions.
The crew was very professional in their bearing, competent in their actions yet personal in their contact with me.

Drew first came out to my 1910 farmhouse house in 2017. I doubt he even remembers the job since it was so long ago! Three other HVAC companies had been out and they wanted to install ductless systems when I wanted a ducted system (to fit with the character of the house). The studs were exposed so it wasn’t a matter of destroying walls. Drew listened to my vision and then got creative. The beams go different directions on the top and bottom floors so he had to really think about the placement of the ducting. He did though, and I appreciated his willingness to problem-solve. I still have his card on my kitchen wall, and I recommend Alpine to everyone that even hints at needing heating or cooling changes done to their home. They installed a gas furnace in my attic and an AC unit outside, plus all the ductwork. I am super happy with the value of the work, the knowledge of the crews, and I won’t forget how Drew helped me get heat into my house when others said it couldn’t be done. Thank you Alpine!

These guys are terrible. They installed a ductless system for me 10 years ago. I had them out multiple times over the years because of a leak. Each time they came out , they would tell me that they had “found the leak”. They would leave after putting in more coolant and it would work…for the season. The next season, same thing would happen.
I finally got tired of this system and had another company put in a ducted system. The new company, when they did the install, also uninstalled the old system. When they pulled out the old coolant lines, guess what they found…that’s right, they found were the old system was leaking. I took this copper line in to show Alpines owner were the problem was and he was just way to busy to even come out of his office. So, once they have your money, forget good service!!! Worst experience ever. Never do business with these jerks!!!

Our particular technician was great. Knowledgeable and quick.
This service was needed due to debris caused by the initial installation. The initiation installation took three trips to get right.
This is the second time we’ve had to pay due to something that wasn’t correct. The first time the part was on warranty, but paying for two service fees just to fix it wasn’t fun.

Neil came out and worked on our unit after hours, quickly diagnosed the problem, solved it, and then added some preventative measures so it wouldn't happen again. He was friendly and explained everything he was doing while he worked. What a great tech, give that guy a raise! We appreciate you coming out on a holiday.

In the last 3 years, we've had not one, but THREE fantastic experiences with Alpine Heating & Air Conditioning (& now standalone electric!).

Most recently, Frank was the lead and Colton was the electrician on an install for our ductless mini split system. Frank and his crew did a fantastic job and communicated at every step and were friendly and professional, doing the work on time, cleaning up messes as they went, and making everything look good and clean.

While Colton, the electrician was here he mentioned they're doing electric work now, and it came out that I have some concerns about my electric system. He offered to do a free safety consult and put me on the calendar right there. He came today and spent an hour on my 2700ft.² home and offered an in depth assessment of the electrical work and what could use attention. He was super professional and also personable, showed up with shoe covers, and it felt at all times like he was being honest about what should be addressed and what could be put off until later.

Back to the ductless install. We have a big, old, complicated house, and their estimator / project manager Andy came out to the home multiple times and gave me a detailed rundown of what my options were (ducted vs ductless). He helped us navigate through the rebate programs, and was helpful all the way up through the install, which was seamless. We got a *brand new* unit that was just released with some new technology, and it took them a bit longer than they expected to get it up and running, but they were back first thing the next morning with a specialist technician to get it operational.

Going back to our first ductless system at our first home 3 years ago, we had called several companies (the big guys in town) as well as some others, and Alpine came through with the best bid and the best customer service.

After two big ductless mini split systems and now working with their electricians separately, I can honestly say that Colton, Andy, Frank, and the rest of the crew at Alpine are some of the best contractors in Eugene, and I'd recommend them without reservation to anybody looking for heating and cooling service or electrical work.

As always we were very pleased with the service you provided. Cade was very thorough and professional. He explained everything clearly and definitely met your company standard of excellent customer service. We highly recommend Alpine Heating!!

Our Alpine‑installed Lennox HVAC system failed after only 5 years when the compressor motor died. Even though the part was fully covered under warranty, Alpine insisted we pay for the labor, $1,100 in refrigerant, and the $125 service fee. When I questioned the charges, they simply threw the warranty at me and pointed to the line saying refrigerant isn’t covered — as if that excused a failure that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Their original bill came to $1,750 for a problem that wasn’t ours to begin with. Being charged for someone else’s mistake just doesn’t sit right with me.

I asked multiple times for the service manager to call me so we could discuss the charges. He didn’t call until two weeks after the repair was already completed. He claimed he had called multiple times, but after checking my call log, he had only called once — and didn’t leave a message.

If you’re looking for a company that stands behind their work and communicates honestly, you may want to look elsewhere.

The men that came to work on the install of our completely new heat pump/furnace system were professional, courteous, and hard working. When the work was completed, we were thoroughly introduced to the new equipment—even though the install ran into the early evening. The final system is a substantial upgrade that we look forward to enjoying. The only rub was the delayed electrical service, which kept from having an earlier finish.

I will recommend Alpine to others, reinforced by this experience.
