Plumbing reviews in Hillsboro, Oregon

Needed an estimate for new shower remodel, the company was very professional and an extremely reasonable price. Went ahead and had the job done and am very satisfied with the work performance and friendly service. Will recommend pink flamingo to my friends and family. Great job.

Pink Flamingo is amazing! I called at 4:00, TJ arrived in an hour and diagnosed the leak in the water box as being at the 90 degree joint. He offered to fix it immediately. I opted to have him return the next day. He arrived at 8:00 am, dug the offending piece out and replaced the pipe. Now there is no longer water pouring from my meter box! Thanks so much for great, speedy, polite service!

TJ helped fix my plumbing issue efficiently and explained everything clearly before starting work. I had gotten 2 other bids that were absolutely ridiculous before I called Pink Flamingo. They were transparent and the price was very fair. Hands down will be using them again!

Do not waste your money. Worst company ever I had an Emergency job to be done and Estimator Said it will be done within a few hours. It has now passed four days and nothing has been done.at all. I’ve called about twice a day and I’m told the same thing every time that the only one that can handle this is the management team or the only one that can give me updates is the management team and I have to wait for them to call me and there’s no way for me to call them. I only accepted the spin at such a high price because it was going to be done within a few hours, but it’s still not done. Worst experience ever.

TJ (technician) was great. Customer service was very disappointing. We had a scheduled 8 - 12 appointment and nobody showed up. We did not receive any communication as to why. We called and subsequently received an appointment for the next day at noon (specifically). The technician arrived at 2pm. Again, TJ was great. Communication was not.

$1,800 for a toilet replacement? These people are insane. Average cost in Oregon is $600 max toilet and install. Even the most elaborage toilet onstall being $1,000 . These guys far exceed the cost that any rational human being should be willing to pay. Avoid these guys . Call ANYBODY else.

My experience with Pink Flamingo plumbing was great. The price was reasonable and the repair was done in a timely way. I especially enjoyed communicating with Kayla. She made setting everything up easy!

The company requested half up front and the remainder at the time of service. Fine, but then they demanded the remainder before they would start working and threatened to send the worker home and keep the deposit.
We let them do the work, but they significantly overcharged. They charged about 500 an hour to dig a ditch and replace a line. I thought there would be a crew. Turned out it was one guy. 500 an hour for 1 person, who was new and not that skilled.
It goes downhill from there, poor work, etc. We ended up not even using the product.
The sales person is very skilled, the rest we met were not. -
Everyone we have worked with, with the exception of one scheduler, did a terrific job. They were knowledgeable and easy to work with. We had a recirculating water pump installed and are quite pleased. We definitely recommend this company.

Shout out for TJ. He stopped by as he headed home from work to look at the upstairs neighbors' leaking plumbing to give them a bid to fix the problem exposed over my tub below. He made extra efforts to call the property manager to leave details, plus he emailed the bid. TJ also told me some helpful information as to why the plumbing failed. I found him very personable and professional.

Quote was $1,200 to replace toilet guts and replace valve. The toilet was also prepped for service and all parts purchased. I think you are paying for the elaborate pink fancy van. They also wanted to charge $49 for the ridiculous quote. We found a reputable licensed plumber for $250 who did the work on a Saturday in an hour and guaranteed his work.

Jared has excellent customer service skills. Flawless presentation warmly delivered. It was a pleasure doing business with him today. I've had opportunities to deal with two of their plumbing staff, Walter & TJ. Both men have the highest bar of professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Jared did a great job. He was very professional and efficient. He gave detailed descriptions of the work and kept us updated on the status. Pink Flamingo Plumbing was quick to respond, quick to schedule the work and got it done in a day. We really appreciate their prompt courteous service.

Absolutely insanely high pricing. $1,800 for about three hours of work and very minimal parts. For reference, I can get a vasectomy for $1,200. I guess they do need to pay for those fancy pink vans. They get their two stars for responsiveness and the fact that people rarely take one star reviews seriously.

I had an amazing experience with Pink Flamingo Plumbing thanks to Kayla, their CSR/dispatcher. She is incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. From the moment she answered the phone, she made everything easy and stress-free. Kayla kept me updated throughout the entire process, communicated clearly, and made sure the technician was scheduled quickly and conveniently.
Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for customers really stand out. If you need plumbing service, definitely ask for Kayla—she makes the whole experience smooth and worry-free. Highly recommend! -
Had a really good experience with Pink Flamingo Plumbing. Kayla on the phone was super friendly and actually made the whole thing way less stressful. She kept me updated so I wasn’t just waiting around wondering what was happening. The crew showed up pretty quick and got everything fixed faster than I expected. Really happy with how easy they made it. I’d definitely call them again.

TJ, from Flamingo Plumbing, arrived in the morning to diagnose our issues and costs. Once agreed upon, Eddie was able to come by later and complete the tasks in a very timely manner. I appreciate his hard work.

TJ and his crew were so easy to work with. TJ was a great communicator, sending me info and pictures of the project whenever I asked. I am very thankful that I called this company!! Top notch

Jared is very knowledgeable plumber . He has great customer service manners. I needed to get water pressure restored to my kitchen sink . He explained that it is probably from my old galvanized pipes causing the problem. He maybe spend 30 mins flushing out my kitchen pipes . I was told that the hot water valve could not be turned off . I was charged 563.50. For flushing out the pipes. He did not have to breakdown my water faucet nor did I have to buy a new faucet.
He told me that I should get my house repiped . I am retired 75 and on a fixed income,
At this moment I don’t think I can afford a full repipe. I probably will be dead in a few years.
I am happy that I could put a bandaid on the water pressure. I am satisfied with work but I think the bill was a little high for what was done
Thank you. Thomas Fought. -
Had a water heater installed, but the overall experience was frustrating due to repeated communication and scheduling issues.
Initially, there was confusion around the install date caused by a third-party phone service they use. From a customer’s perspective, it was not clear I was speaking to a call service rather than someone directly at the company. That service gave the impression the install date had been changed, when in reality they could not actually modify the schedule. As a result, the install day came and went with no one showing up.
On the company’s originally scheduled install day, the same thing happened again. I had taken the afternoon off (window was noon–4pm), and after waiting all day, I received a call after 5pm saying they wouldn’t make it and would come “sometime” the next day—which was a Saturday. That meant yet another day spent waiting at home.
They did eventually show up and complete the installation, which was mostly acceptable overall. See picture, but I may end up re-doing the water lines myself as I can't remove the filter (black in the photo), and the water lines just seem old and maybe should have been replaced during install, though I am not sure as I am not a plumber.
Additionally, there was confusion around parts and haul-away that were clearly included in the quote I had already signed and paid for. The quote was essentially for a full water heater installation, and as a customer I would not reasonably be expected to provide adapters or connections myself. I can understand the plumber may not have had access to all the paperwork, but it added to the overall disorganization.
I called management a few times to try to resolve some of these issues and discuss additional service they had identified with a possible manager discount. Both times I was told I would receive a call back, which never happened.
The takeaway for me: they seem very busy, and while the work eventually gets done, communication and scheduling are unreliable. If your time is flexible, it may work out—but if you need clear coordination and follow-through, be prepared for delays. -
Brandon is an honest and skilled plumber. He fixed my leak on a Sunday. He will not try to upsell you on anything you don't need. Working with Brandon is a breath of fresh air compared to working with a large plumbing company. I will only use Brandon for future plumbing work.
