Brenton and his team did a fantastic job on installing my new block wall, sprinkler system and lawn. Brenton was right there the entire time ensuring quality and was always able to improvise to any suggestions or ideas. I would absolutely use Grassroots again!

Brent and his team did a great job on our house in Lake Oswego. They were in and out in four days and built a great retaining wall to separate our yard from our neighbors elevated property. They cleaned up every day when they were done, showed up on time like they said And we’re very respectful of our property. I would highly recommend them, and I do, to friends family and neighbors. Brents eye for detail, professionalism and quality of work is hands-down above any other contractor I’ve hired in the past. Five stars

Brent and his team took on the enormous task of excavating old railroad ties and replacing three separate retaining walls. Their work was high quality and on budget. He and his team also completed the replacement of structural supports in our home-length carport as well as re-framing a skylight. Brent was responsive and his team friendly and clean.

Brent and his crew did a fantastic job! I had a French drain put in and replaced a rotted out fence! Brent came to my home on 3/26 and had the bid to me that night. I accepted his bid and he stated the project on the 30th and completed it in 2.5 days!

His team was very professional and their quality was superb! He even add some bark nuggets (at no charge) to complete the project! I will be using their services when I redesign my patio!

Brent and crew did a fantastic job giving our background a face lift. The team built 2 retaining walls, including a stairwell and set artificial turf on the newly leveled backyard. Kids and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work.

We had a problem with water collecting near the foundation of our house because of a blocked rain drain. Brenton came and gave us a free estimate and explained how the project would be done. He was kind to answer my questions and gave us an excellent price. The crew fixed it and cleaned up afterwards. We were very pleased with the work and have already recommended his company to friends.

We chose Brenton and his team at Grassroots Construction after interviewing several contractors, and they performed with excellence on both decks. My husband's a retired architect and I'm a retired interior designer, so we're picky about quality and performance. Our expectations of "on time, on budget" and delivering an excellent project the first time were completely met. I'd like to give a shout out to the Grassroots team of Curtis, Mike and Justin who were here every day, working hard to solve issues with both decks, including fixing some major structural defects on the old decks' construction (which our pre-purchase home inspector never noticed...) What were once rotting, hazardous decks are now safe, pristine Trex decks that we'll enjoy for years to come.

After the windstorm a few weeks ago, I needed two large parts of my fence repaired. Brenton was able to come out right away and give me an estimate at a great price. I had some questions and a couple requests and Brenton quickly responded and was able to accommodate any request I sent his way. Overall it was a great experience.

The Grassroots team can in and built the picture perfect outdoor living area for the upcoming summer season! They were on time, stuck to the schedule and left the site clean! I will 100% recommend these guys to anyone looking to upgrade their backyard!

We hired Grassroots Construction to repair several areas in our yard that were damaged during the ice storm last winter. The work was very detailed, such as matching the existing deck railing which is a combination of wood & metal. Brenton’s crew also added some custom finishes that we had requested. Lastly, the crew recreated a putting green that we had installed a year ago, which came out looking MUCH better than the work done by the previous company. Brenton and his team did an excellent job, took very good care of our home & yard, communicated well and were a joy to have around. Our only complaint was the long time it took to get on their calendar, but I think that is to be expected for a quality company during these busy times. I’d definitely recommend Grassroots for anyone’s project.

Love our 2 new patios, turf, and stained fence!!! Our pups are beyond happy with their new yard!! They took our backyard from unusable to where we spend all our free time.

The crew is extremely professional and did a great job! We had them do a couple projects at our last house as well and have been extremely happy with all their work.

Brenton was fantastic. He oversaw a full re-landscaping of our yard from an ugly dirt pit to a beautiful artificial lawn with a putting green, leveled paver patio area, natural rock retaining wall, gravel trails, gazebo, and even outdoor lighting. As you can see from the photos, the work quality was extremely high. Their work has been instrumental in helping increase our home value.

Similar to other reviews, our starting date was pushed back several times and the work timeline was longer than estimated. His original crew was not the most reliable when it came to the scheduling aspect. However when Brenton came out more recently for some touch-ups, he had a completely new (and more reliable) crew who all showed up right on time and did a fantastic job polishing up for our house sale listing photos.

We hope to use Brenton and Grassroots Construction again in the future!

Brent and his crew did such an awesome job! From the time we went to quote to finishing the projects, they were professional and listened to what we wanted! Brent took the time to meet us where the pavers and retaining wall materials were and showed us what we could do. This really helped my wife visualize what the project would look like. We relied on Brent's knowledge and experience to build us the backyard we wanted. When they broke ground, we ran into some issues with a boulder in the backyard but they worked through it. We're so happy with how fast they finished our project and we're realistic about the timeline. I can't wait to do our next project with Grassroots. Also, a big shout out to Dan, Justin, and the rest of thee guys. They were super hard workers!

Brenton and the Grassroots crew helped me set up a playground for our new Ivybrook Academy in Tigard and we had a wonderful experience! Brenton was easy to work with, and did a fantastic job with the bark chips, cement areas, and pea gravel. I’ll be looking to work with them again soon! Quality service at a reasonable price. Brenton Olson and Grassroots Construction did an excellent job in removing our rotted out deck and entryway and replacing it with new footings, strong support timbers and beautiful railings and Trex decking. They were wonderful to work with, gave an accurate estimate and good price. I strongly recommend them.

Alex and his company have been our go-to business for any repairs or remodels. He does beautiful work on a timely schedule. He has renovated our entire kitchen, floors of our entire home, laundry room, and plumbing issues. He does it all- plumbing, electrical, tile work, carpentry, dry wall, floor installation, lighting installation, appliances, and more. He will work with your budget and provide cost effective recommendations without sacrificing aesthetic. He checks in as he works and communicates quickly. He was so flexible with us, and worked around our busy young family as we lived in the house while he was renovating.
