The overall experience is mixed but the result was a success.
It has taken 5 reschedules to get our new dishwasher bought from Costco installed. I The first one was set on a date we were not in the state. For the second one, right before the scheduled time I was informed it was delayed to a window that overlapped my doctor appointment. The third one was on Saturday and it was no show. On the fourth one, installer discovered the shutoff valve didn't shut completely and I had to fix it myself. The fifth one was the charm.
I have learned that it is definitely a shared efforts between me the homeowner and installer to get it done. I had to replace the shutoff valve under the sink myself because A1 is not allowed to do so. I wish either Costco or A1 informed me before coming out so that they didn't waste a trip and we didn't have to reschedule.
The installation team is experienced and they are genuinely interested in making customers happy. They do as much as they can to make us happy. I have also learned that the company has been recycling the replaced dishwashers for more than 20 years.

A-1 technician installed a new dishwasher from Costco. He screwed the mounting brackets to the front of my cabinet frame, which put a crack in the wood. The brackets are very ugly to see right above the dishwasher. The side gaskets aren’t flush with the cabinet frame, and he didn’t clean his mess under my sink from drilling the hole bigger. When I reached out to them with my issues, I received a “Thanks, appreciate it.” I would have been better off installing it myself! Won’t call them back, I’ll have to fix it myself! I don’t recommend them! Had to add a picture of the electrical termination box. After fixing the lousy install myself and moving the dishwasher just ever so slightly in to move the brackets under the cabinet frame, the dishwasher wouldn’t start. And since I’m an electrician, I thought I’d check the electrical connections and found that the neutral had came loose out of the wire nut. No plastic bushing to protect the wires, which could arc and possibly start a fire over time with the vibration of the dishwasher! Unacceptable install!

The Caldwell, ID team from A-1 just stopped in to install a dishwasher I ordered from Costco. They were professional and tidy. Installation was quick. They ran a test load. Everything checked out. No damage to cabinets. Id highly recommend them for installs

The first project was an addition, the second was insurance-related. (A car hit our home.) Don worked almost everything out with the insurance company so that I didn't have to play "monkey in the middle".

This summer-fall (2023) we had L.S. Panas & Associates upgrade our pool house by adding a bathroom including shower and toilet; and a closet. Not an easy task when there were no utilities there at all. They had a narrow space to work with around the pool deck to bring in a new sewer line and water line; plus they upgraded the electrical. We consider ourselves picky, but they had even higher standards. Lucas was a great GC (if we win the lottery we are taking him to Italy to build our dream home). On time, on budget, and great communication along the way.

Len, Marianne and the Panas team did an incredible job of transforming our home into exactly what we envisioned. Their attention to detail from constructing our two-story granite fireplace to eliminating an extra bedroom to make room for our spa-like master bath and walk in closet. Marianne was our personal concierge throughout the entire process, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had a leak our roof. The roof team that came to fix the leak was outstanding. They worked hard and were very efficient-even found a problem of which we were unaware-and fixed it. I recommend very highly.

We purchased an older home in Lake Oswego, OR and contracted Wieldy Construction to renovate the house interior. The sunken floor in the living room was raised and solid hardwood flooring installed throughout the house. The kitchen was totally redone with new cabinets, counters, appliances and ceramic tile. Both of the bathrooms were also totally redone with walk-in showers, new counters, and ceramic tile. The garage interior was finished with new cabinets and sink. Also, the two door garage car entry was changed to a single large door. We are very pleased with the project planning, quality of work and highly recommend Wieldy Construction for house renovation.
